Chapter 12

12. Naked Beauty.

Kiara preferred to remain in her room following her unusual and strange encounter with Xavier. Since then he had not returned.

She had cleansed her face then attempted to call Adira, but she was unable to get ahold of her, she picked up her phone no matter how many times she called. What was wrong? Why had Adira been ignoring her calls? It worried her.

It had been getting close to dinnertime, but she had nothing to occupy her time with. Instead of becoming bored, she decided to divert her attention. She resolved to spend the time unwrapping her new clothes and accessories that she had bought. She had lunch with Jennifer and Lena at one of the restaurants earlier in the day, but she was hungry now. Jennifer had reminded her about eating three times a day requirement that had been set by the Alpha letting her know that she would call her once dinner was ready.

This was the first time Kiara stepped inside Xavier’s closet, she thought that it was absolutely beautifull It was so big and ladened with his scent. Xavier’s suits were hanging like one would find for sale in a showroom. When she had been purchasing the two dozen outfits earlier, she had felt like she should stop. But after seeing the amount of clothing that he owned, she came to the conclusion that she had bought close to nothing. He also had not seemed to care how much she spent. He appeared to favor more dark colored clothing, on the other side of the closet were his matching ties, and shiny expensive shoes were heightening the beauty of the space.

Kiara realized that she’d lost the watch she’d bought for Xavier after staring at a minimum of 15 high end watches. She vividly remembered holding the box until she had crawled onto the bed, from that point it had vanished. But after seeing his watch collection first hand, she understood that the watch she had purchased was fancy, but it looked like a cheap discount store purchase in comparison to his collection. It’s a good thing she hadn’t given him the watch since he’d never wear the one she brought for him. She had no idea why she’d bought it in the first place.

She scanned his t-shirts, pants, and wallets from a safe distance. Xavier’s boxers were the last thing she had noticed. Kiara remembered Lena and Jennifer’s teasing her when they joked about the Alpha ripping her thongs and panties. They had also inquired about Xavier’s size. A flash of the big Alpha’s member’s size flashed across the young female’s thoughts. Obviously, he’d be pretty large and rather intimidating! Perhaps taking his girth and length would be difficult for the female. Wait! What on earth had she been thinking? She flushed profusely, placing her hand over her lips. s**t! She had been thinking like a pervert thanks to the Beta and Gamma females! Kiara, get your act together!

Everything was in order, which made her wonder if she was permitted to keep her belongings here. He had already acted like a madman when she had left the pack house without notifying him, she was afraid of what he would do next. It was better to go things discreetly, without touching any of his belongings.

“Are you planning on keeping all of your clothing and other belongings in a suitcase for the rest of your life?” Kiara sprang up from her place as she heard Xavier’s voice come from behind her. She had been caught red-handed sneaking around in his closet!

“I was just...” she halted before she continued clarifying the situation. When she realized that it wasn’t the angry psycho Alpha, it was his twin Alpha Zander Lincoln. Had he been speaking to her?

Zander had crossed his arms across his chest while he had been watching his brother’s female since she had entered the closet looking around with wide eyes. Kiara took note of his green eyes. He had the same appearance as Xavier, but the hunger and fire that she always saw in Xavier’s eyes, that was something that set her on fire, was absent in Zander’s. Luckily his brother had been giving her a normal look. The Alpha in front of her appeared to be far calmer and less cold than his sibling.

But what exactly was he doing here? The main concern, though, was how long he had been standing there? When she realized he had caught her staring at Alpha’s boxers, she blushed with humiliation!

· “Are you mute?” The green eyed Alpha raised his brows at the young she-wolf who had failed to respond to him. Had she not impressed the old male with her smart talk at breakfast?

“Umm, I assumed that I should get permission before bringing my clothing in here,” Kiara blinked slowly, still confused by his presence in his brother’s room.

“There is no need to obtain permission. It’s obvious that if you’re going to live in this room, you’ll need to store your clothing and young temale was too nervous to touch a male’s garments, including the one with whom she had spent the night. Zander had guessed at this, which was why he had swiftly assisted her in moving his brother’s belongings.

Kiara observed him genuinely assisting her, yet his visit had been somewhat unexpected.

“All done, now you may place your clothing and shoes in here,” Zander gestured to Kiara, then decided to allow her some privacy and began to move out of the closet.

“I thought that you had come here to put me to the test like your Grandpa had,” Kiara had been thinking about the reason for his arrival for so long that she had let the comment slip out. Stephen, Kaiden, Tyler, and everyone else around Xavier had so much love and care for him. She could see that all of these people’s concerns had increased since her arrival so she thought that she needed to pass another test that had been set by his brother. He obviously had not come here by coincidence nor had he been looking for his brother.

“Are you a mouse that I’ll have to put to the test?” The Alpha came to a halt then responded with both hands shoved inside his pockets. Kiara blinked, unsure of how to respond to his unexpected comment. He’d called her a mouse?

“So, what brought you here?” She asked, only to quickly realize that it was not her room, rather it was his brother’s, which he could visit anytime he pleased! She had just been proven to be an i***t.

“Xavier sent me to help you,” Zander responded, observing her surprised expression. He had sent his brother? Why?

“Yes, because I was the only one who had nothing to do. As you can see, I usually hand off my duties to my brother then roam free as a bird, so my poor brother is engaged with some pack problem,” the Alpha freely revealed his diabolical scheme to escape from his work to the young she-wolf. Kiara couldn’t help but nod. He was the sort of Alpha that was bold, brilliant, and had a big mouth. His brother’s polar opposite.

“Why do I get the impression that you were expecting my brother?” Zander grinned.

“Who said that?” Kiara’s heartbeat raced faster when she heard Xavier’s name.

“Do you dislike Xavier?” Zander asked.

“No, why would I?” Kiara was taken aback by his unexpected inquiry. He seemed deadly serious, as if he’d destroy her if she didn’t like his brother. He nodded slightly while eyeing her from head to toe. The Alpha had become lost in thoughts.

“Well, you’re quite a skinny mouse, so I doubt I’ll have to go through with any testing. Otherwise my brother will kill me for testing his small mouse before she gives birth,” Zander muttered. Kiara couldn’t help but giggle he was also aware of his brother’s pup-obsession!

The Alpha maintained a watchful eye on her gorgeous smile and chocolaty eyes. He had been curious as to why his brother wanted this female to have his pup. The reason was in front of him. She was pure and innocent. She would easily entice any male, unknowingly heightening their desire for her causing them to become hard.

Despite the fact that he had the same face as Xavier, she had not initiated the conversation and was still hesitant to talk to him.

She had kept a safe distance and avoided making eye contact with him, knowing that just their faces were identical, but both males were very different.

Suddenly, Petra entered Zander’s thoughts causing his blood to boil with rage. The personalities and intentions of Petra and Kiara exemplified the distinction between night and day. That b***h had f****d their entire world, especially his brother’s life, and this little one had been too shy to look at his brother’s boxers. Zander walked towards Kiara where she had been trying to control herself.

“Do you like my brother?” Kiara’s giggle got lodged in her throat, his inquiry caught her off guard. Zander observed her chocolatey eyes as they grew larger and her jaw tightened, yet her heartbeat was rapid like a racing horse.

“I am only a surrogate,” Kiara reminded him. He was well aware of her role in his brother’s life.

“Hmm, but that is not an answer to my question but I will let it pass,” Zander smirked as he walked out of the closet. Kiara’s hand was resting on her racing heart. Both brothers were weird. She had been terrified by his question. He knew that she was a surrogate, yet he had still asked her those strange questions! When she remembered his inquiry, her heart began to race. Liking his brother?

Just as he was ready to open the door to his closet, a pretty face appeared in front of him. The Alpha took a step back as he scanned Kiara from head to toe. She was dressed in a white top and blue skirt that reached her knees.

“What exactly are you doing here?” He had anticipated that she would have already gone down to the dining room. She should have had her meal by now due to how late it was.

“I was waiting for you,” she said as she walked out of the closet.

“Why?” He was befuddled, but he had also noted that she had put a little makeup and lipstick on her delicate lips.

“So that we could go to the dining room together. Did you want to eat by yourself?” Kiara inquired, but Xavier was surprised by her response. She wanted to eat with him? She had refused to eat without him.

When he had married Petra, she had always eaten before him. She never waited if Xavier was late for dinner. He had never asked her to wait, even though he hated eating alone. She used to go to dinner with her friends most of the time. As a result, he would have to eat alone even on the days that he had planned to return early enough to eat together. Most of the time, Zander would join him, but Petra’s ignorance of Xavier and Dean longing had had a negative impact on their relationship. She had no clue that he had quit eating dinner due to her carelessness when it was late at night. Xavier had been disturbed by his memories of those days, but Kiara’s questioning eyes drew him out of his reverie.

“Don’t wait for me from now on,” he demanded as he made his way back to the bathroom. His countenance was expressionless.

“I’ll wait for you,” Kiara answered.

“I said not to,” he snapped bitterly, shutting the bathroom door behind his back. He couldn’t stand another female waiting for him for however long she would be here then disappearing when he became accustomed to her presence. So it was better to not even start anything. He quickly took a cold shower as he kicked all the nonsense out of his thoughts.

Kiara was nowhere to be found when he got out of the bathroom. Had she obeyed his order and left? Dean was saddened by her departure, but Xavier decided to put on his pants. He knew that every female was the same. She, too, had left for dinner. While donning his shirt, Xavier’s ears picked up on particular sounds. What was that? He looked around only to find himself alone. Was there a mouse in here? He moved to the right side of the closet, where the sound was still coming from. He looked down to discover the young she-wolf busy doing something. So that’s why her scent was still so strong in here? She was kneeling on the ground, looking among her belongings for something.

“What exactly are you doing here?” Xavier inquired. Kiara moved her gaze to his handsome face, which had become even more attractive after a shower. She blinked at him but had not moved. Her hand lightly grabbed Xavier’s hand in hers. What was she up to? The Alpha was perplexed at first, but then he watched her bandaging the fresh cut on his finger, which he had sustained while rushing. She had noticed his cut before he had entered the bathroom.

“Don’t get this finger wet for a few hours,” she cautioned as she finished bandaging his finger as she looked up into his green eyes.

Had she never left the room? Had she always been looking for a bandage? She felt a shudder travel through his warm skin when his hand was still on hers.

“What about dinner?” Heasked as their gazes remained locked together. Had she been waiting for him?

“Let’s go together,” she suggested, quietly letting go of his hand. Xavier took her hand in his as he helped her to her feet. Kiara was surprised and retained her grip on his shirt.

“I told you not to wait for me,” he let out a faint growl.

“Yes, but you didn’t hear my reply,” Kiara said calmly. Xavier remained quiet as he merely staedat the obstinate woman. Her response was in her eyes.

“Hey! You didn’t eat without me, didn’t you?” Kaiden leapt into a seat beside Jennifer, swiping her food from her plate just as she was ready to take a bite.

Tyler sat near Lena, saying, “I’m very hungry.” He’d skipped lunch.

“What’s the deal with you being exhausted today?” She inquired worriedly, while handing him a drink of water. She hadn’t liked that he was working so hard, but she had observed that he had locked himself inside his office and had been working his ass off.

That only happened when the Alpha assigned him some essential assignment, but he hadn’t told her about it.

“I’m okay, baby,” he assured her hastily, pulling her into a kiss before she could say anything further. Tyler would always use his uches on his mate whenever she questioned him. Lena forgot about her meal and began kissing Tyler back, heating up the mood. Kiara and Xavier had been staring at the group as they entered the dining room.

“Kiara!” Jennifer cheerfully waved her hand. Everyone turned to watch their Alpha and Luna take their seats. The Gamma and Beta couples were taken aback when they saw their Alpha with the Luna. Had he actually come to dinner with someone? Years later, it had occurred!

“What’s with you coming to dinner so late, Kiara?” Lena inquired since she had been invited to come down for dinner far too frequently. She had requested that they not wait for her, but they wanted to enjoy dinner with their Luna, but the Alpha had arrived unexpectedly.

“I was...”

“Isn’t it obvious Lena?” Before she could say anything, Zander’s words resonated across the dining room.

“What do you mean, Alpha?” She asked, confused. Zander took a seat next to Xavier, staring into his inquisitive eyes. What exactly had he meant? Zander took a deep breath as he observed everyone’s enquiring gaze to learn why Kiara was late.

“My brother does not stop until he has finished two rounds!” Zander whispered, yelled. Everyone’s attention had been drawn to Kiara, who had gone beet red with embarrassment. What on earth were they thinking?! And why were they only looking at her?!

No one dared to look at Alpha.

“You jerk!” Xavier clenched his teeth as he cursed his brother for disclosing his personal information to the others. Zander tried to flee before Xavier attacked him, but there was no way out tonight. Xavier had made it his mission to beat him up. Kaiden and Tyler followed them as well. Kiara was shocked to witness their juvenile behavior. They’d been fighting like children! Their squabbles had migrated to outside the pack house, but they could still be heard by everyone.

Jennifer and Lena shook their heads tiredly, “Don’t pay attention to them.”

“It’s our daily entertainment. When they are done with their game, they will come back and finish eating,” Lena explained. Kiara nodded then began to dine with the Beta and Gamma females who had been informing her about a few things going on in the pack, one of which she had witnessed with her own eyes. They were almost done with their meals, but none of the males had returned.

Kiara wanted to leave the dining room with the other females, but Jennifer stopped them.

“I prepared some ice cream for everyone today,” she had forgotten and got up to get it for them.

“Jennifer, hold on a second. We’re all exhausted from shopping. And now that you’ve been racing about and doing all the work, it’s time for you to rest with your baby. Why don’t you request that the ice cream be sent to everyone’s room?” Kiara proposed.

Jennifer valued the Luna’s attention and concern for her. She smiled and nodded.

“Don’t be concerned, Kiara. I’m going to put her in her room first, then I’m going to deliver ice cream to every room. Please go get some rest,” Lena promised as she sent the Luna and Beta to their rooms.

Kiara went straight to the bathroom having decided to take a shower before eating her ice cream. She took off her clothes and stood naked under the shower spray. It felt so invigorating, she had needed it now since her thoughts had returned to Adira. She still hadn’t returned her call. Why? She had no clue, she had been standing in the shower for more than ten minutes, lost in her thoughts until she heard the sound of the bathroom sink being turned on. She c**** d her head as she looked to her left, only to discover that she wasn’t alone in the bathroom.

When Xavier had returned to the dinner, an Omega accidentally spilled ice cream on him. He raced to the bathroom to change his outfit, only to find a naked beauty in the shower. His breath became lodged in his lungs as he observed her splendor. Now he realized that she wasn’t skinny at all, no this female was perfect! She had been deep in thought, but her figure that had always been disguised by clothing, had captured his attention.

The breasts that he used to think were a handful seemed to be plumper like absolutely soft and delicious mounds. Her pink n*****

Xavier’s rampant gaze followed the trickling water that had the good fortune to touch every inch of the sumptuous skin of her curvy little body as it streamed down to her precious hidden pearl, which had remained untouched but was partially concealed from his sight.

She watched as the Alpha took two steps back, still staring at her with wide eyes, before storming out of the bathroom. Kiara sat on the floor, embarrassed, wondering how the hell he had gotten into the bathroom after she had locked it. Had she forgotten to lock the door since she’d been spacing out.

She shouted in embarrassment, this time with both hands over her face. How could she possibly look him in his eyes now?!

Tyler was on his way to see Xavier in his room when he noticed him exiting it. No, he actually saw him storm out of the room.

“Xavier, I need to tell you something,” he remarked as he noticed the blood that had leaked from the Alpha’s cheek and ear. He was taking deep breaths with one hand over his lips. He appeared to be having difficulty. Kiara’s nude figure and every inch of her body had been dancing through his head like a fast spreading poison. He’d never forget what he’d seen!

“Are you all right?” Tyler inquired, concerned, but Xavier shook his head.

“What’s the matter?” Xavier asked, still seeing the scenario of few minutes ago.

“I acquired an experienced doctor to preform the surrogacy. He’ll be here tomorrow,” Tyler informed.

“What? A Doctor who will perform surrogacy?!” Xavier’s furious eyes snapped to Tyler.

“Yeah, you asked for that, didn’t you? Otherwise how will this be possible without a Doctor?” He questioned, perplexed, but Xavier’s arousal had erupted into a flame. Did that imply that the Doctor would be able to see her goodies? Another male would put the Alpha’s seeds into the young virgin’s pink untouched flower?

“Tyler, change the contract!” Xavier declared.

“What?!” He wanted to change the contract when the full moon was this close?!
