Olivia didnât know what to say next, so she closed her mouth.
Mario sneered. Everyone could hear the sarcasm in his words.
Marcus didnât want awkward atmosphere, so he smiled and said, âDennis, I know you are busy recently. I can take care of Olivia, donât worry.â
Dennis said nothing, and nobody would like to talk. The more quiet, the more awkward.
I couldnât bear it, so I stood up and said, âI will go to the toilet.â
Then I went out of the private room.
When I was washing my hand, Olivia came to me. Leaning against the wall with her hands in her arms, she looked at me sarcastically, âWell, Dennis and Mario is in a bad relationship, are you happy now?â
I ignored her.
She blocked my way and said angrily, âWhat? Are you pretending to be innocent? They arenât getting along well with each other because of you!â
âNone of your business!â I sad with a little anger, âAre you worried that you wonât be able to get anything from them?â
âNonsense!â She was pretty angry, âYou donât know the importance of their relationship.â
âWell, I do donât know.â I said.
I wanted to go out, but she kept blocking me. I was angry, âMiss Olivia, I know you are accusing me because you arenât resigned to my appearance.
But you deserve it! You were always asking for something from them. You could have had a good life if you werenât greedy. However, you kept asking something from him, not only money, but also love. Thatâs why he hates you! Thatâs why he even doesnât want to see you!â
Then I pushed her away and went out of the toilet.
She wanted to grab me again but I avoided it. With high heels, she didnât stand still and fell down on the ground.
She glared at me angrily, âClara...â
I shrugged, âNone of my business. You didnât stand still.â
Judging from her character, she would start to pretend crying. However, there werenât acquaintances around us so it would be useless.
To my surprise, she cried loudly, âYou are wrong, Clara. Dennis is my only, but you have snatched him away! Why are you doing that!â
I didnât understand why she was like this at first, but after seeing Mario, I did.
As the saying goes, old habits die hard.
Mario overlooked him and walked into the toilet. Seeing that, I didnât think there were any reasons for me to stay here, so I walked back to the dinning room.
I walked slowly so her crying could still be heard.
Mario followed me up. I looked back and saw him.
Then he said suddenly, âYou are the one who is raising Clariana. I wonât take her away, but she is a member of the Bennett family. Anyway, she should know she has a father.â
I looked at him, not knowing what to say.
After a moment, I said, âDiana said that she would never admit you as Clarianaâ s father when she was gone. Therefore, I wonât let her go with you, Mario.â
He frowned, âThen what do you want to do? Will you raise her up? Well, you can give her everything, but do you know what she really wants? â
I lost control, âWhy canât she be with me all the time? I have been raising her since she was born. Sure, you are his father. But what have you done?
Have you ever taken care of her? Have you ever seen her crying for mother at night? If you havenât seen any of those, how can you be a qualified father?â
He was close to become angry, âI didnât even know that Diana was pregnant. If I did, I wouldnât have let her go, nor would I have let you raise Clariana up. I canât control everything.â
I sneered, âYou donât know? Then why Nova knows? Why would Nova push Dianaâs buttons in her hardest time? Diana suffered from premature birth and hemorrhage, and she died! Mr. Mario! You think you can be forgiven by a simple âI donât knowâ?â
He froze and looked at me, almost breaking down, âNova did that?â
âYou had never investigated, right?â I was disappointed. If he really loved her, how could he even donât know about that?
Honestly, he never loved Diana, or he would have started to ask everything about her when she disappeared.
Please Love Me, Mr. George ï¤Chapter 373 Overcoming All the Difficulties 6 I cannot let him take Clariana.
He pursed his lips and stopped talking.
I calmed myself down and looked at him, âI will never let you raise Clariana up, no matter what you do.â
I was serious. Then I walked into the dinning room.
Dennis was talking with Marcus. Seeing me, he asked, âWhy are you there for so long?â
âNothing. Are you full?â I said. Basically we were here to have a meeting, nobody had eaten much.â
He nodded, âYou arenât hungry?â
âYes.â I said.
