I frowned, âwhat video?â
âMrs?â he was alarmed.
âSorry, Mrs. George.â
âHe cannot answer the phone now. Toby, everyone should have a bottom line and you should know the consequences of his reckless revenge. You have been with him for years and you know that he has been dependent upon his ability as well as othersâ recognition.â
Their wars in business were cruel but shouldnât be too much.
Toby paused and replied, âThank you, Mrs. George.â
I hung up and began to think.
The origin of his anger was the wedding ceremony of Folly.
what on earth did Hank say to Dennis?
An hour later, he went out and smiled at me.
I held his hand, âDid it hurt?â
He smiled, âIf it hurts, what will you do?â
I kissed him on the lips, âIs it okay?â
The doctor came and coughed, âYou will come here in a week for a check. And donât have sex in the next month.â
âThank you, doctor.â
When we were back in the house, it was dark.
We had dinner and I had a phone call from Folly.
âI forgot to post that wooden box to you and you have time tonight? What about having a drink?â
She seemed unhappy.
âOkay, see you later.â And I went upstairs.
Dennis was in the study, seeing papers, which were brought by Toby.
He heard me and asked, âWhatâs the matter?â
âFolly asked me to meet her.â
He nodded and closed what he was reading, âOkay, where was the address?â
âYou have so much work to do and you just had an operation. I can go alone.â
He frowned, âHow long?â
âTwo hours.â Folly was unhappy with her relationships probably.
âOne hour and give me the address. I will pick you up later. I would worry if you stay outside for too long.â
I nodded and grabbed the car key.
It was in a bar owned by Folly; in the center of the city.
There were many guests and she was on the second floor, a bottle of wine in her hand.
She waved at me.
I snatched the wine from her and called the waiter, âA glass of hot milk, please.â
âAre you kidding me? Milk in the bar? And hot?â Folly said aloud.
The waiter withdrew, obviously knowing the owner.
Folly looked at a girl dancing on the stage and said to me, âClara, I am unhappy.â
I felt sorry for her.
âWhatâs wrong? Zack or his mother?â
She had been married for a very short time; it could not be anything else.
She said, âHave you seen parents who insist on living with their married son?â
âI cannot answer you that. Because neither my nor Dennisâ parents are alive now. His grandfather is alive but he never engages himself in our affairs.â
She laughed sardonically, âI shouldâve known that nothing is perfect. I shouldnât have married.â
She was pregnant and was rightfully unstable.
âMaybe they just want to look after you. You are pregnant.â
She sneered, âNo, stop this topic.â
The milk was served and she frowned at it.
âYou want a juice?â she was pregnant and it was normal for her to dislike milk.
She nodded.
âA glass of mango juice.â I said to the waiter.
âHow do you know I love mango?â
âI have seen you drink it.â I looked at the first floor.
âYou see some acquittance?â she looked in the same direction.
âThat girl seems familiar,â I said.
Folly said, âJust see the man beside her and you will know who she is.â
I could only see the back but then the man turned.
âLeo?â
Folly shrugged her shoulders.
Then I saw carefully the girl, who was wearing very little.
Jessica. She was still with Leo?

Folly said randomly, âLeo is a playboy and itâs normal for him to have several girls. You neednât worry because he will dump her when he is fed up.â
I worried about Katrina. She just gave birth to the baby.
She might probably know these.
I rose and Folly pulled me, âWhat are you doing? Even you kill him and his ghost will still seduce girls.â
