Aniket's pov -

I looked around everywhere in the mansion but Samaira was nowhere to be found . I was already very worried about her because i know that whoever wants revenge from me would aim at her because it is very evident that she is my weakness when she should have been my strength . Love is something that strengthens yet weakens you at the same time .

I saw maa tensed and went towards her .

"Maa aapne Samaira ko dekha hai ?" I asked maa but looking at her expressions it was very evident that she was tensed and panicked about something .

( "Mother have you seen samaira anywhere?" )

"Maa what happened ?" I asked her concerned .

"Aniket i sent Samaira upstairs to go get a basket of flowers because she seemed anxious so i thought it would be nice if she got some fresh air but she is nowhere to be found . "Maa said panicking .

"What ? Maa are you sure ? Did you check the mansion thoroughly ?" I asked her trying to look normal from outside  but inside i was dying as negative thoughts took over me .

This morning i got a call from an unknown number but i know who it was because i could make out that voice . He threatened me that if i don't give him what he wants which is my status as the king then he will destroy me . Everyone knows that my weakness is my family but she is not my weakness she is much more than that . She is the reason why I wake up every single day . She is the reason for every single smile of mine . She became my sole reason to live . If i know that she is going to be there every time I am not feeling well then i know that there isn't going to be one time in my life when i am going to feel low . I don't want to spend even a second of my life if it doesn't have her involved in it .

"Yes , I looked throughout the entire mansion but she was nowhere to be found . I even told her to take Hari kaka with her but when i asked him he said that she didn't even come to ask him to tag along and help her ." Maa said still panic stricken looking here and there .

"Maa calm down . Nothing is going to happen to her . I know my wife isn't that weak . She is very strong and even you know that ." I tried comforting her and then hugged her tightly .

"Maa i should go and find her ." I said and then broke the hug .

"But aniket everyone is here . What justification will we give to them ? None of them know that Samaira is your wife ." Maa asked while looking at me .

"Maa it doesn't matter . Nothing matters to me because the only thing  that truly matters is that she is fine and protected and as long as i know that she is okay i know that everything is okay ." I said and was about to leave when papa , Divyank and Priyank and everyone came there and asked what the matter was .

Maa explained it to everyone and obviously everyone all of a sudden became super tensed about samaira . All of them wanted to help in finding Samaira but i didn't want everyone to be worried and tensed so i just took Papa , Dad and Divyank with me .

Priyank stayed with the woman of the house because someone has to be there with them also . We can't risk anything anymore so precautions are better .

I sat down on the car when suddenly my phone rang and i picked it up in a span of a second .

"Hello ." I said on the phone and the other side was blank for a second before someone started speaking .

"Well hello Mr Rathore . How are you ? I suppose you are not very well . How could you be when your wife is with me . I have to say your choice is plausible because she is indeed very beautiful . If her outer beauty is so beautiful then just imagine her inner beauty . Opps . You don't have to imagine . I mean she is your wife you may already know right ." The man on the other side of the phone said while laughing like a maniac making my blood boil at his words .

"Touch her and you die ." I said while gritting my teeth and clenching my hands on the steering wheel .

"Is that a challenge or is that a warning ? Because i love challenges and moreover I love to win challenges ." The man on the other side of the phone said and again laughed maniacally .

"It's a promise . Touch her and you will die ." I said still gritting my teeth in anger and clenching my fist more tightly on the steering wheel because his words made me want to end him .

"Well I just want to inform you about one thing . Be careful because she doesn't have a lot of time left . Tick tick tick ." The man said and then cut the call .

"What happened ?" Divyank asked from the back seat .

"That bastard has her ." I said and then punched the steering wheel hard .

"Who ?" Papa asked with rage filled in his words .

"Rahul . Who else can it be ? He has stuck to our life like a leeche ." I said getting angrier with every passing second .

"How do you know it was him ?" Papa asked .

"I heard his voice behind the man who was talking on the phone . He probably asked one of his men to call and talk because he knows that I would have guessed his voice in a second ." I said with my thoughts filled with her .

"Do you know where he is ?" Priyank asked .

"No but i know where he could be ." I said and started the car .

Meanwhile on the other side ~ Samaira's pov

"Wake her up ." I heard a man's low voice ringing in my ears .

My head was spinning . I remember nothing after going upstairs to the terrace all i remember is that someone else came from behind and kept a handkerchief on my mouth and i fainted the next second .

I slowly and gradually regained my consciousness and as soon as I looked in front i found that bastard standing in front of me .

"You ." I said while gritting my teeth .

"Looks like sleeping Beauty woke up from her sleep and Yes it's me my love . It's me ." He said smiling devilishily like a mad man .

"You can never change . Aniket left you the previous time because i asked him to but this time i swear i am going to kill you before he comes here and kills you himself ." I said warning him . I regret asking Aniket to let him live . I should have just let him kill him .

"That would happen if he gets here before i kill you . Because if i can't have you then i won't let him have you either ." He said and grabbed a fistful of my hair and then dug his one hand in my shoulder making me scream in pain .

I looked at my shoulder and saw blood flowing out from there , then i remembered that i got shot on my right shoulder .

"Ahhh !" I screamed in pain as he was still holding my shoulder very tightly .

"Your screams are like music to my ears ." He said smirking and then smiled like a psycho .

"Go to hell you bastard ." I said and kicked him on his private part . It's his fault that he didn't tie my feet and still dared to come close to me .

"Ahh ." He screamed in pain but then got up and grabbed my hair again .

"You are giving me more and more reasons every single second as to why i should kill you ." He said gritting his teeth and looked at me with rage filled eyes .

"Go ahead . Try it . Kill me if you can buy at least don't be a coward at least be a man . Open these ropes or  should I just assume that you have tied me because you know the second you open these ropes you will be dead ." I said gritting my teeth and smirking .

"What do you think just because you are a government employee you know every thing ?" He asked chuckling sarcastically .

"I am a government employee so even if i kill you then it can be counted as self defense ." I said and smirked .

"For that you need a gun and trust me honey you ain't getting one ." He said .

"Who said that i only know how to shoot i know how to kill people with my bare hands as well ." I said chuckling sarcastically .

"For that you need your hands to be open but guess what they are tied  honey ." He said laughing .

"Who said that my hands are tied now you may get why I call you a dumbass ." I said in a low voice and smiled darkly while his smile just vanished .

He tried to get a hold of me but i just hit him on this face with the back of the knife i always keep for self defense .

"And that's why you should never trust me Rahul ." I said chuckling sarcastically while holding my shoulder down from one hand .

Two of his men caught me from behind and that's when my attention went outside as i looked out of the window and found him getting out of his car . I sighed in relief knowing that this man doesn't have many breaths left in himself .

"You are all so dead ." I said and laughed and then hit both of the men on their chin by my elbow and picked up my knife from the ground as he picked up his gun and fired in my direction .

Bang...

Bang...

Two gunshots rung to my ear making me lower my head down .
