Chapter 9: Ummhhhh....Cat? ._.

After Mr. Shedletsky gave 'Motivation' a beating,and you guys gave me some ideas. Alice_d3mon and Gunsyai  ideas were both good,so i'll try my best to use them in the next chapters,so enjoy this one about Shedletsky meeting Slingshot

Shedletsky's POV (yes i will start using POV's)

i felt so Unmotivated to do anything,I felt like i lost everything,which was true thought i mean i did see a Robloxian's Corpse Ro#######(ROBLOX chat filter Moment.)

i will admit that SYSTEM's word were a bit comforting it's the Last thing i'm familiar with,i was deep in thought,obviously still laying on the ground (he looks frozen when he's on the ground since remember He's a robloxian and his movements are limited.),i was suddenly interrupted by a notification on my Phone,huh that notification was 5 months old?,oh wait i didn't have internet because i didn't pay for it,does this place contains Public wifi?.  "hm wonder from who." I turned my EggPhone on,i see SYSTEM in the corner sitting staring at me with those eyes,although he looks Weird,i shrugged it off before opening the Notification it was a message from [Builderman] "Builderman?..." Shedletsky clicked and opened the message

My eyes Widen in well not really shocked i did see a Robloxian's Body but shocked at the thought of my Friend Buildy- okay i need to stop calling him that,the thought of him being dead is quite unpleasant.

SYSTEM's POV

[I STARE AT THE CREATOR THROUGH THE BUILT IN SENSORS OF THE EGGPHONE,HE SEEMS SAD.]

Shedletsky's POV

i totally  forgot SYSTEM can see everything,i quickly composed myself before standing up and holding the eggphone to my Ear (do i even have an ear?),i held it to my 'ear'. "I'm okay SYSTEM,are you good though? you sound.....glitchy" i ask i notice the stutter and distortion in SYSTEM's voice,i am worried like extremely SYSTEM is like my other child,well he is my creation so are the deities that left me for seemingly no reason.

SYSTEMS POV

Shedletsky's POV

I know damn well SYSTEM is capable of lying(why did i even program this into him.)

"Okay SYSTEM just run an anti virus in the background."

I say  a bit confused since it's been a long time since i even seen system maybe that's how he sounded. i turn the Eggphone Off,before recomposing myself,i look around,seeing all of these people,one thing similiar about them (beside the way they look,they all look the same) they all have horns,so i wonder.

"hmmmmmmm,nah i don't need it."

i shrug to myself not like anyone will care about someone who look like he went through hell,due to me being a robloxian my shirt and pants pants pants...(hehe i remember making that song )are still the same,not a single dirty spot on them.

but since i didn't want anyone to just question why i look different(i mean my skin is literally Yellow).

"i need to look like a homeless" i walked into an alleyway and sat ontop of a trash bin.

"hmmmm what is the most common thing homeless Robloxian's share,bacon hair....nah,Noob?....nope......" i thought until it clicked in my head. "OH yeah CardBoard" of course it would be cardboard only the homeless uses that,i quickly opened my inventory before equipping the cardboard outfit i had saved a long time ago and the good new its eco-friendly.

after equipping it i jump down from the trash bin and strikes a pose.

"mhm that's what i call being Homeless."

It's absolutely necessary to still look stylish,don't judge me okay?,i've already been through much,i walk out of the ally,i look around maybe i can find something to eat,i mean i do have an infinite amount of food,but hey gotta make it fair for the other can't i?

i walk around before stumbling upon a cafe,i lower my Shades to see the name because i literally can't see,these shades are made out of cardboard.

"Slingshot's Cat Cafe,hehe originality at it's peak." i said sarcastically really? 'Slingshot's Cat Cafe' that's the best a DEMON could come up with,nontheless i entered it.

SlingShot's POV

It's been a very boring day,since it's Friday not many people come into the Cafe, and i am lucky because this means i get to close early,Shuriken and Vine Staff weren't there,although i don't know why they only told me one thing,something about a Yellow skinned Male with a VERY CARTOONISH LOOKING SMILE,pretty sure they were just hallucinating it's not like- i suddenly stop my inner monologue as i heard the door of the Cafe opens,i quickly get into my ᵐᵃᶦᵈ i mean Work outfit,and leans against the counter greeting the person.

Narrator's POV

🟨:I enter the 'Cat' Cafe expecting to see like a wave of cats rushing into me,but it was empty. "hm looks emptier than what i have expected." ,i Notice the blue demon staring at me,i think he likes my outfit ;)

🟦: is he wearing Cardboard? huh? "hello sir welcome to SlingShot's Cat Cafe owned by me Slingshot :3" i say cheerfully.

🟦: that smile is sure Cartoony ,he must be hiding his horns underneath that cardboard tophat. "uhh is there any reason that you're wearing cardboard?"

🟨:i Knew he will that question. " i am just homeless,y'know nothing weird about it." i say with confidence.

🟦:hehe that Cardboard must be flexible if he's able to move his arms and legs,how did he even make those? "uhm....okay? so how did you mak-" i suddenly remember he ordered something. "oh yeah right your cookie." i hand him the cookie. "this will be 20 Bux"

🟨: Bux?,I never heard of that maybe he meant roBUX,wait i don't have any Robux,i need to think fast. "uhmm yeah give me a second." i walk out of the Cat Cafe,before frantically searching my Inventory for a specific Gear.

🟦: HMMMMMM, Weird i mean it's Okay if he doesn't have to pay,he is homeless after all maybe i should tell me ;3 as i was about to go and tell him...he walked back holding a bag of Money????!

🟨: I quickly enter before holding the Money bag. "okay i hope this is enough." i say nonchalantly i mean this gear can literally spawn an infinite amount of Money of any place,it's Universal so instead of Robux it will spawn That Bux or whatever demon call them.

🟦: i turn my head to see the supposed 'homeless' man holding a bag of Bux,my Eyes widening. "sir i said 20 bux not....an entire bag."

🟨: i suck at counting,so i shake the bag and like 20 bux comes out of it,i hand it to him before unequipping the Money Bag. "here." i pick the cookie before taking a bite out of it.......it's delicious HOLY ROBLOX....well not as delicious as the cake gear.

🟦: "i am glad you liked it ;3" i say as i wait for him to leave,since i am going to close not many Demons will come anyway,Except he doesn't

🟨: i need to introduce myself to him. "So what's your name friend?" i ask nicely.

🟦: "oh my name is..." i pause for dramatic effect "Slingshot" i say.

🟨: Slingshot???,i think he is talking about that weird thing behind him. "i said YOUR Name"

🟦: why does he look surprised? wait....does he not know about me? ,am i not as famous as i thought i am O_O. "friend my name is Slingshot,you sure you never heard of me?"

🟨: "well i do have a gear called Slingshot :D" i say as i search my inventory.

🟦: He have a Slingshot GEAR??,thought every gear was unique, "you have a slingshot gear? mhm i thought i was the only one who had those."

🟨: i continue searching my inventory before pulling out the slingshot

🟨: "you see this masterpiece? one of the original BrickBattle Gears made by Roblox"

i say with the most prideful voice in existence,almost forgetting the fact i haven't said my name.

"oh By the way My name is Shedletsky,John James Shedletsky The III."

i say as i put the Slingshot aside and shake Catshot- i mean Slingshot's hand,i mean to be fair he does look like a cat.

🟦: i stare at the weird thing Shedletsky is holding,it looks unreal like it was straight out ripped off a Video Game. "okay? and where are the pellets?" i ask a bit curious on how this 'slingshot' work.

🟨: "Pellets? it doesn't need pellets it works,they just come out when use it." i say as it's the most normal thing. "here let me show you." i pull the slingshot string(whatever it's called) ,when i let go a pellet shoots out.

🟦: i stare at this my eyes wide,where did this even come from? "wow that's so cool!" i clap my hands together.

🟨: i put the slingshot gear back into my inventory. "so uhmm,do you know what is this place called?" i ask, he is probably the only chance i can get info on where i am.

🟦: "oh :3 this is the crossroads." i answer,how does he not know the crossroads is pretty much well known by the entire world.

🟨: the crossroads?,i don't recall the crossroads being this Big,it's mostly small with 4 different area,not an entire continent,maybe i messed up the teleporter input?,yeah i definitely did ,i sigh before saying.

"hey do you have a charger i need to charge my (egg)phone" i ask,please say yes,please say yes.

🟦:  a charger?,i mean it's not much. "oh sure,give me your phone" he hands him his phone,okay that phone definitely looks weird,where did he even buy that?,i decided not to question it,i plugged the charger into it's charging port.    "it will take some time."

🟨: "thank you man,don't worry this thing only takes like 2 min to recharge." i say as i pull out the Sorcus' Chair out of my inventory

i sit on it as i wait. "you know it's kinda weird your 'CAT' Cafe doesn't have any tables and chairs,Or cats."

🟦: did he just pull out a literal chair out of nowhere? (a robloxian's Inventory is invisible so they can't see where Shedletsky pulls out the gear.),i snap out of my thoughts at his question. "oh yeah it's mostly meant for customers to stay for a short period so new customers can come in."

[TIMESKIP.]

Narrator POV

Shedletsky and Slingshot were playing Four-In-A-Row,of course Shedletsky explained the rule of the game,it's basically Connect Four.

After some rounds Lets just say Slingshot Lost Four-Times-In-A-Row,after that they chatted for a bit,Shedletsky learning some more stuff,about the factions,and the other Phighters,and the cliffside idols.

🟦: "that was fun man,here is your phone,it's fully charged,fast like you said." i hand him his Eggphone back,i gotta admit i would love to have a phone like that.

🟨: "thanks slingshot,hope we meet again." i say grateful before walking out of the Cafe.

🟦:  (･ω<)☆ i wave goodbye at my New friend.

Shedletsky's POV

I soon returned to the Allyway,it's already night,so I needed to sleep,I check My Eggphone's notification,I see one permanent notification.

[SYSTEM'S STATUE: SLEEP MODE ENABLED]

well atleast he knows what he's doing,i pull out a Cardboard Box before sitting and sleeping,I know i could pull out the 'Instant Treehouse' gear and use it as a place to stay,but it would raise suspicious to see a literal tree house in the middle of a city,i haven't seen a single tree to be honest.

Slingshot+SkateBoard's POV

🟦: "that's everything i know about him."

🟥: "Sound like a cool dude,and you said He have a slingshot gear?"

🟦: "yeah what's weird that it functions without any pellets i don't really know if it's some magic or something."

🟥: "he's probably just faster at throwing them,faster than you." i Said with a chuckle.

🟦: "hm" i grumble something "anyway it's getting late so see you later or in the next phight." i say before waving goodbye.

SkateBoard's POV

i watch Slingshot walking away,mhm i should totally meet that Shedletsky guy,maybe tomorrow i can find him,Slingshot did say he's homeless. "poor guy doesn't have a place to stay."

SYSTEM's POV
