I have an elder sister. She is the smartest and most beautiful girl in school. For being so beautiful, she gets romantic proposals from boys every day. Although, she turns them down every time.

She’s in her second year of high school, so I guess it’s time for her to find love. She even turned down a romantic proposal from the handsome captain of the soccer team.

And I’m that sister’s little brother. My sister is really beautiful, but I am a man who bears the sad reality of being someone normal.

Of course, she has no feelings for me.

First of all, I don’t have any female friends. That’s why I have given up on my youth. Recently, I have been turning into 2-D to escape from reality:

I don’t have any friends with whom I can have a sleepover with, so I’m in my room reading a light novel.

I talk to two of my sister’s best friends from time to time. They are very easy to get along with and have good personalities.

With all three coming together, they must be the strongest specs ever there won’t it. I can’t match them.

Also, they are the only women who treat me kindly.

I can hear their conversations, from my sister’s room next door. Although very lightly.

The content seems to be a love story. It seems fun. I wonder what kind of love stories the top 3 beauties in the school were talking about.

Those men in the love stories who seem to get liked by these girls must be really happy won’t they. I envy them. I don’t care about them as from the beginning I was never in their field of interest.

I want a girlfriend. Though there’s no point in thinking about it.

I quietly continued reading the light novel.

It must have been about an hour since I had started reading the book, when suddenly there was a knock at my door.

“What’s the matter? Nee-chan.”

I asked like that since I thought nee-chan was probably the one behind the door who would want to see me.

“I’m sorry, Sorata-kun. It’s me.”

To my surprise, what I heard from the other side of the door was the voice of Hoshino Mai, one of my sister’s best friends.

“Mai-san!? What’s wrong?”

“I have something to ask you Sorata-kun, may I come in?”

“Yes, it’s fine.”

“Thank you.”

Mai-san came into the room. And when she entered the room, she locked the door immediately for some reason.

“Why the lock?”

“Don’t worry about it.”

“Huh.”

“Thank you.”

Mai is really beautiful, isn’t she? I wonder what her husband-to-be would look like.

“Are other elder-sisters ok with this?”

“Both are taking a bath together right now.”

“I see. So, what do you want?”

“Sorata-kun, listen to me. Listen to me carefully.”

Mai-san put her hand on her chest and took a deep breath.
