Ch.39 Meow Meow (1)
Without Wei Shenglan here in the canteen, Ye Xi lost interest.
She no longer paid attention to the prince and white moonlight table next to her, focusing only on eating.
Halfway through, Luo Nuanfeng received a call and left early.
Ye Xi and An Mudie went to the library after eating.
Ye Xi and An Mudie found the books they wanted to read. An Mudie didnât turn many pages before closing the book and saying, âYe Xi, I want to buy some water to drink.â
Ye Xi took a look at her and then nodded, continuing to read.
After An Mudie left, Ye Xi suddenly reacted. An Mudie was not a person who liked to buy water to drink. She was very diligent. Especially in the days when the white moonlight and childhood sweethearts appeared.
Ye Xi immediately felt that something was going to happen. She closed the book and walked out of the aisle between the bookshelves. As she exited, she saw that it was raining outside.
âIt was raining? Shouldnât there some sort of prelude to an event!â
Sure enough, Ye Xi soon found An Mudie and the new student chatting at the entrance of the library..
Ye Xi quietly bypassed the bookshelves, moving to the bookshelf closest to them. She hid behind the bookshelf and quietly listened in on their conversation.
Luo Nuanfeng: âI have heard a lot of rumors about you.â
An Mudie: âWhat rumors?â
Luo Wenfeng: âI heard that you are associating yourself with a delinquent girl.â
A delinquent?
Ye Xi thought about it for a while, but couldnât think of anyone else An Mudie was making friends with other than herself..
Well, the rumors are just rumors. They arenât true. This conversation once again proves that fact.
An Mudie: âNo, I only have Ye Xi as a friend.â
Luo Nuanfeng: âIs she not a delinquent?â
Meow meow meow? Me?
(T/N: I have no idea why sheâs âmeowingâ.. Maybe itâs some slang that i donât get)
Ye Xi was shocked. In what way does she seem like a delinquent?
An Mudieâs voice went a bit higher: âYe Xi is not a delinquent!!â
Luo Nuanfeng: âNot only does she hang out with scoundrels all the time, but she also forced Ding Xiuxiu to stop going to school How can she not be a delinquent girl? Listen to me and hang out with her less.â
Dang!
Since when have I hung out with scoundrels!
Also, what does Ding Qiuqiu not coming to school have to do with me!
Also, how long have you even been in this school to know this much gossip!
Ye Xi clenched the edge of the bookshelf and suppressed the urge to rush out.
An Mudie was angry: âEven if itâs you, you cannot speak about her like that! Sheâs nothing like what you say of her!â
Luo Nuanfeng also seemed to be a bit angry, as he huffed: âForget it.â
He opened the umbrella in his hand and walked away.
An Mudie looked at his back view, her expression complicated.
Ye Xi stepped out with one foot and wanted to tell her that she shouldnât care too much about this kind of thing. Then she saw a person walk towards An Mudie and stood beside her before opening an umbrella.
The person that came was Bing Yiyi.
Therefore, Ye Xi retracted her one foot and hid behind the bookshelf again.
Upon noticing this newcomer beside her, An Mudie greeted her with a slight nervousness: âHello, Classmate Bing Yiyi. I share a class with you. My name is An Mudie.â
Bing Yiyi looked at her leisurely, her expression gentle and soft. She replied softly: âHello, classmate An Mudie.â
An Mudie was very happy. This was the second person who was friendly towards her, with Ye Xi being the only other person.
