Chapter Thirteen

Killion's part of vision.

I can't marry Silvia. I don't want to end up like my parents.

They ended up hating eachother. I don't want to hate her. I am in love with her. When I told her that I can't marry her she was furious. She seemed so happy before I told her.

I have to explain. I don't want her to think that I don't want her. My heart only longs for her.

Even six years ago she was the only one who offered me food when she tried so hard to earn it. I felt guilty for taking part of her food when she told me her story. At that night I felt miserable.

At the battlefield she was my only hope. All these years I kept myself alive only to see her again.

When she got drunk and we shared a bed I was the happiest person alive. At the battlefield she protected me and even saved me from certain death.

How can I not love her?

Her bright smile would only belong to me if I married her but it won't last long.

Tonight at the banquet I will talk to her.

...

She arrived at the banquet hall and a man kept annoying her. How dare he?!

I took the chance to talk to her and sent away the scum man. I was about to talk to her when she said

"Get lost"

Her cold expression made me freeze. I really broke her. Then she went to a private audience with the emperor.

I wanted to explain to her about my childhood and let her know why I can't marry her but after the audience she left.

I rushed to her mansion and waited to speak to her. I saw her through the window talking to the butler and then look at me. She gave me a cold stare and then  she said something to the butler.

A minute later the butler came and told me that she doesn't want to see me. I didn't want to believe that she doesn't want to see me. I knelt down to the ground as my legs gave up and my eyes searched for her.

Then she closed the curtains.

I can't give up yet. We really don't have to marry in order to love eachother.

Two weeks have passed and I keep visiting her mansion. The butler keeps sending me away without an audience of Silvia.

Today I asked him again and he said that she isn't here. I wrote a letter and asked him to send it to her.

I wanted to tell her everything face to face so I didn't write about my situation.

Three months and three weeks have passed and there is no reply from Silvia. I decided to search for her.

I first visited the city of Fury. When I went to the entrance and asked for her they told me that she wasn't there.

I returned to the capital and requested an audience with the emperor. He must have known where she is. The emperor refused to answer any question that was about Silvia.

I desperately want to see her.

Three months and three weeks have passed and my body has changed. I keep staying inside the mansion because I can't let Killion find my whereabouts. Sometimes I read books, while others I paint.

Other days I sleep a lot. Roy and Sienna take good care of me and Simon the physician has helped me a lot.

Yesterday I heard that Killion came to the city to find me...

Work is piling up but its a nice distraction from my mental breakdowns.

Four months later.

My body changed a lot and most of my dresses don't fit me anymore. I keep feeling my baby moving. Simon said that this means that it's a healthy baby.

Killion kept searching for me. I can't let him find me now that its noticeable that I carry his child. I also can't run away anymore. My body is heavy and I am very sleepy these days. In my dreams I see a pair of twins. A handsome boy who looks like Killion and a pretty girl just like me.

In a few months I will give birth.

It's been a year since I gave birth to a pair of twins. Two beautiful babies. I named my daughter Selene from the moon and my son Astro from the stars.

I am not alone anymore. Sienna and Roy were excited about the children and helped me take care of them a lot.

They were always there for me.

After a few months I began to practice my swordmanship. I wanted to be strong for Astro and Selene.

It's been five years since I left the capital and four years since I gave birth to my adorable children.

Astro and Selene grew up beautifully. They are both geniuses and they already are experienced scholars at the age of five. They are also polite and cute. Who wouldn't love them.

I remember my promise to the emperor. Tomorrow we have to return to the capital. I prepared everything and there was only one thing left.

I had to tell the kids.

"Astro, Selene~ I have to tell you something."

"What is it mommy?"

" Mommy made a promise five years ago to the emperor."

"What promise?"

" I promised him to come here and take care of you and after five years we would go back to our home in the capital."

"I see... So when do we leave?"

"We are leaving tomorrow."

"Okay~"

The twins were very understanding. They packed their suitcases and when tomorrow came, we boarded the carriage with Sienna. We waved goodbye to Roy and we went to the capital.

When we reached to the estate in the capital Jonathan greeted us enthusiastically and then he introduced himself to the twins. He was more than happy to meet Astro and Selene. He was amazed by their friendliness and politeness.

I went to my study and wrote a letter of thanks to the emperor and I informed him that I am back.

I went to my room and opened the curtains. The spring breeze was soft and the flowers were sending their perfumes towards every direction.

The next day, I visited the emperor. He aged a little. When he saw me his face lit up.

"Silvia Fury! It's been a while!"

"Nice to see you too your majesty!"

"How have you been?"

"Your physician told me that you have two adorable children!"

"Did you keep it a secret?"

"Of course!"

" Thank you your Majesty! Yes my kids are not only smart but polite and friendly!"

"I am curious Duchess..."

"Please ask me"

"Who is their father?"

"Their father is an unworthy man. He is one of the dozens of people who wanted to use me and then throw me away..."

"The first general... He came here many times asking about you these five years... Is he the father?"

"He is..."

"Don't worry... It's our secret..."

"Thank you your Majesty"

"Tonight there is a banquet... I would be happy if you join... After all its my birthday."

"I-I will make sure to attend"

I arrived at the familiar banquet hall. It's been a long time. I wore a dark green dress and matching jewelry.

When I entered I could hear all kinds of gossip about me. Well not only me.

Killion too. They say that he turned mad. He was desperate to find me so he lost his appetite, got sick, and finally turned crazy.

The emperor entered and we bowed to show respect. When he sat on his throne, a loud bang was heard.

*Bam*

The door slammed open and Killion entered the banquet hall. His shirt was half unbuttoned, his hair were messy and he looked haggard. He held a big sword painted with blood and an enraged expression.

He really turned mad.

The emperor frowned. Everyone stood up and kept quiet. Killion Hills walked to the middle of the banquet hall while the sword left traces of blood behind him.

At the middle of the banquet hall Killion stopped and stabbed the sword to the ground.

"Where is Silvia hiding?"

The emperor kept quiet.

"Where is she?"

Killion asked in an angry tone.

The emperor kept quiet giving me the choice to appear or not.

"I am right here."

Killion froze. I walked towards him.

Only my steps were audible. At the sound of me getting closer, Killion Hills turned around with his eyes widened and tears.

"S-Silvia~"

"Killion."

" I missed you..."

"Let's take it elsewhere."

I grabbed his wrist and we went to the garden.

"Silvia-"

"Why?"

"?"

"Why did you search for me?"

" We have to talk."

"About what?"

"Reason."

"I don't need it"

"Please hear me out"

*Sigh*

"Go ahead."

" I grew up in a family that lacked affection. My parents were fighting everyday even though they used to love eachother. I was abused in daily basis in the Hills family. Just like you. I had to face their hatred."

"So?"

"I didn't want to make you miserable like my father made my mother... I changed my mind after you left."

"It's too late Killion."

"Why?"

"I already have a family that I love..."
