Chapter 4: Starting Again

As we took our first step in the city. An angel guide us to the temple, the angel push us to go inside the temple. I dont think why this place are completely blank with nothing on it.

“Welcome challenger! You’re part of bravest human who take this challenge to elevate your status at the next earth.”

That sounds come from all around us.

“Are you God or X?” I asked.

“Whatever you like to call me. In this mirror earth people will call me by various name.”

A book appeared in front of us with a pen.

“Now please write your lore. Choose from what family you want to be born and status classes. Since you guys live pretty roughly at earth I’ll let it pass if you want to born as a noble or from a wealthy merchant.”

Well since child I want to be a brave warrior. I want to be a good warrior or knight that excel at physical attack and battle technique. I want to born in a family that have a long legacy of being a knight.

Taka finished writing his lore. “Since I want to be your supporter only Miyuki big sis. I choose to be a magicians with excel skills and support magic and healing skills.”

“Oh right, are we going to separate be born in the same family?” I asked to X.

“Separate first. But there’s an event where you will meet each other and instantly recognized each other.” X answered. “Dont worry your memories at earth will remain same and you will inherit it here.”

“I’m glad if that the case. Cant wait we will meet again and instantly fell in love again.” Taka said to me.

“I’m finished writing my lore.” I said and close the book.

A screen appeared in front of us. There’s our stats, it only show us a number but the rank are hiddens. X started explaining again. “Stats here are not permanent. They can be increased through training and event. The highest rank are SSS. The lowest are G-. If you start with two digits of stats that already of average.”

“Mmmm.” Taka seems understands. “So how about magic skills or battle technique.”

“That one limited to what talent you born. There’s a special talent where you can be jack all of trades but master of none its the problem. We cant risk an overpowered person here and distrub the balance of this mirror world.” X replied.

“Correct.” X replied.

“So your major quest will appear after you do the reveal stats ceremony at age of 16. Since you two choose elf as your race. Your major quest will be a long terms one to accomodate your very long lifespans.” X continued.

“That a good thing. We can spend time together Taka.” I said.

“Any questions again? If you want to ask me an angel will always appear if you pray at the temple of religions you choose. Oh right forgot about religions, each religions here will give you different buff. Some religions allows dual faith and some are not. But in the end what you worships are still me.” X said.

“I think that’s enough for me.” I said.

“Me too.” Taka said.

A light absorb us, we bid farewell to each other and promises to meet again. When I opened my eyes, I was born at from a noble knight. I was born inside a stone house or maybe a castle but it was a strong gothic combined with eastern style architecture.

Time flies so fast and I’m aged 10 already. After waking up from my bed, I quickly going out from my bed to follow strict training routine that my father arranged for me. My father acknowledge my skills in martials arts and weapon mastery.

“I dont know but my daughters seems talented.” He said. “At this age she already learn many-many weapon technique.”

“Thanks for the praised father.” I replied.

“That enough for today. And I think you run out of training partner here. All my men are scared from being training with you.” My father Grandmaster Karasuma said.

“Why not registering her at the local knight championships my lord? Or sending her at knight academy at such young age?” Mr. Tennioji, my father second in command said.

“My wife will kill me.” My father jokes. “Also I her personal armor are not completed yet. I cant register her.”

“Here Miyuki, bring this Trinium Metals to our blacksmiths. This is the last ingredients he need to make your knight armor.” My father gave me a big bag that full of Trinium Metals. And he put it on a wooden cart.

Knight armor here are different from regular soldiers armor. It’s almost like a mechanized armor with our magic feeding the armor to keep the armor protecting us. The regular soldier are using just ordinary armor like in medieval times if the managed to buy one.

“And this one, Oriwinds Essence that will gave you the finals ingredients to your weapons. You can choose what you want make, a spear, swords, or a boxing fist, bows.” My father explained. “I should get you more since you excel at any weapons but that Oriwinds Essence are hard to get and must waiting for an A rank dungeon to appears.”

“This is enough father. When I grow up I will look for my own ingredients to craft me a weapons.” I replied and start pulling the card to our town blacksmith. My father men respect me since I beat all of them at training.

Since I also known to be a good girl that always help everyone. Out from our castle I’m going to the Mr. Junichi place our town blacksmith to deliver this metal. After delivering it I just back at my training routine and trying to increase my stats as higher as possible before the reveal ceremony comes up.
