"She's beautiful mom." Little Xandrix said.

I don't know where I am, but I could see my mother holding me, with my brothers surrounding us.

The door opened, dad came in.

"How are my two beautiful ladies?" Dad smiled and kissed mom and my forehead.

I walked around, I'm a year old, my mother is carrying me, my brothers are holding a toy, baby toys.

"We're fine, this boys won't let Amellia sleep though. They're having fun teasing Amellia." Mom chuckled.

"I mean who wouldn't? Look at her cheeks being puffy every time we tease her. She'll be a smart kid like you, hon." Dad brushed his hand on my head.

"And she'll be as strong as you." Mom said.

"Mom, can I carry her?" Alec asked.

Mom smiled and passed me to him.

"Take very good care and hold her properly, like how I told you." Mom said.

Alec carried me gently, his hands wrapped around me, assisting my head.

"I also want to carry her!" Hendriz shouted.

He's still little and would probably drop me if he did carry me.

"Maybe sometime else En." Mom hugged him.

He's sulking, how cute.

I continued walking, I stopped at a table— mom's table. The sketch of our necklace is right there. I could hear my whole family laughing at the background, but I'm focused on this one pen. It looks familiar, like I think I used the same pen before. I tried holding the pen to take a closer look, but then my vision became blurry and then bam, I'm in another place.

Now, we're at the park, In front of me is my family, my brothers playing baseball, while I doodle using the pen on mom's desk.

I don't remember any of this. None of this came to my mind growing up. I don't even have a memory of the time when I was 1 until 3, others would at least have a basic memory, like playing with their brothers, things like that. I don't have any.

It feels like I want to cry. These memories were kept from me, by my own mind. The only happy memories that I could've had, so that maybe I won't feel so hurt and unhappy.

My heart aches, my hands slowly reaching towards them as they slowly disappear, and darkness slowly covered the whole scenery.

"Mio..." I could here Alec's voice as if he really is here with me.

"Amellia, oh my god." I felt him hug me, I looked at my back, there he is, my Eldest brother, hugging me like how he used to when I cry because of how dark the place is.

I turned my back and hugged him too.

"I'm sorry..."

"Why? What happened?" He asked.

"I'm so sorry that I forgot about us... I'm sorry that I wasn't able to remember how mom looked like, how she took care of us, how she loved us." I cried.

"Oh god... No, Mio. Don't be sorry, you might not remember it, but your heart does. Your heart will always remember how much we love you, how much mom loved you." He said caressing my back.

"I don't know why I couldn't remember it... I'm so mad, how could my own brain prevent me from having those beautiful memories."

"How could my own brain take away something so precious for me."

"It was never taken away, Lia. It's was just covered by the trauma that you had received." He said still hugging me.

"You know, dad and our brothers are waiting for us, for sure." He said.

"Always remember, we love you, mom loves you. You may remember it or not. We will always love you." He said before everything turned black.

I slowly opened my eyes, It was some kind of a dream.

I looked around, white ceiling, white walls, a florescent lamp, definitely not our house.

I tried moving that's when I noticed the dextrose connected to me.

I felt someone move, I looked beside me. Dad.

"Dad..." I called him.

He immediately looked at where I was, tears already starting to fall out his eyes.

"Amellia... Oh dear, you're awake. Finally." He hugged me tight.

"Dad, Alec's awake too." I looked at Xandrix who was on the other side, with Alec.

I looked at Alec, he was also looking at me, he smiled at me.

"I told you." He said in a weak voice.

I just chuckled. It was not just a dream, it was a shared dream. An important one.

"Oh gosh, you're both awake, thank you." Dad said, tears still falling out his eyes.

The door then opened, Killem walked in.

"You both are finally awake!" He said hugging me.

"What? Does my sister always get to be first?" He asked jokingly.

I just laughed at him. Killem than went to him.

"Fuck you." He cursed him.

"Language children!" Dad over actingly said.

We just chuckled.

"Do you know how worried I was?! I was doing your surgery, while thinking how much I would hurt myself if I wasn't able to save you!" Killem said crying.

"You're a bad boyfriend Alec. "I teased him.

"You too! I was so worried, you took longer than expected, and longer than Alec! I didn't know what to do." He scolded me.

Alec smirked.

"How could you be so careless, Amellia! You were in the operating room for hours even after Alec finished his surgery!"And the scolding continued.

And continued.

And continued.

And continued.

"That is a lot of scolding for today Killem, let Amellia of the hook. She just woke up." Dad said.

Killem took a deep breath and hugged me tight.

"Please don't let something like that happen again." He said.

"You too, Alec. I can't afford to loose any of you. You're all I have left. " He said.

"We promise. Don't worry, we won't leave you." I told him.

We spent the whole day talking about what me and Alec missed, and turns out we slept for days. And of course our dear father is worried sick, even though the doctor told them that we're fine.

A few months later

"Wakey wakey Amellia."

"Hmmm... What time is it?"

"Well, it's 7 in the morning, and we're supposed to be at the airport at 9. Come on, you sleepy owl."

"Arghh, fine."

"Down stairs in 30 minutes Lia." Alec said.

"Yeahhh."

Still sleepy I stood up, took a bath and got ready. My bag is packed up already.

I'm wearing a skinny jeans, a black fitted turtle neck, a beige trench coat, and a pair of black heels.

"Well I guess I'm ready."

"Lia, let's go." Alec said peeking at the door

Here we come, Switzerland.
