Annie's pov:

"So are you two going to the party on saturday?" Azzi asked me and Sarah, we were on the court and their practice was already over, me, Sarah, and Azzi were chatting on the benches while KK,Aubrey, Paige, and Nika were playing casually "Of course" Sarah said and Azzi looked a me with a 'you too?' face "Don't tell me you're not going Annie" Sarah looked at me with a disappointed face "I don't know...my last party wasn't the best experience" "that's why you should go, to get a new perspective on it" Azzi said encouraging me to go "and, you have Paige now" "speaking of Paige I think she is trying to get your attention" Azzi said and we all looked in Paige's direction she was waving at me calling to come where she was, Nika, Aubrey and KK were coming in my direction too "We are going to the lockers, and Annie, Paige is calling you" KK said lauging at Paige waiting for me on the other side of the court. The girls went to the locker room and I went to Paige "Hi babe" Paige said holding me by the waist "Hi P, were you calling me?" I giggled "yes, what do you think about trying basketball for the first time? And with the best coach you've ever had" She said smirking at me and I could only laugh at how her selflove was so strong "I would love to" I replied, I don't like sports, but with Paige it would be different maybe. We went to the middle of the court, she taught me the basic rules and some skills "Hold the ball like this" she said showing me "Like this?" I tried "No, like this" she showed me again, and I tried again but it still wasn't right, she came behind me putting her hands on top of mine and with her body very close to me she said in my ear "like this babe" she arranged my hand the right way "now shoot" she helped me and the ball went straight into the basket "OH MY GOD I DID IT" I jumped for joy, I never in my whole life did a basket "YES you did!" Paige said matching my energy, I walked closer to her and put my arms around her neck "only because I had the best coach" I said knowing she would feel proud of herself, I looked at her and her hands fell on my waist again "Yeah?" She said leaning closer to me "uh-hum" we kissed in a slow rhythm, I was no longer so shy with Paige, she unlocked a side of me that only special people know, how could she in such a short time make me fall in love for her like this? My biggest fear is if she doesn't feel the same way about me, and im just another girl to her, everytime we kiss I found myself asking this...We broke apart from each other "are you okay?" She said "yeah sorry, just overthinking" "about what?" she tucked a strand of hair behind my ear "Nothing just stress about exams" I know I always try to be honest with Paige, but this time I wanted to keep it to myself "I know how I could make you relax" she said looking at me with a teasing smirk "oh my god Paige stop" I said lauging and blushing hiding my face in her chest.

"the girls are coming to my dorm for a movie night, are you coming too?" I asked to her while we grabbed our stuff to go back to the dorms "sure" she said. Paige gavr me a ride to my dorm and the whole way she was talking about her basketball obsessions, I always listened to her although the more she talked the less I understood, I could only understand about a few people like Sue bird, Diana taurasi and a few other famous basketball players, but I loved to listening to her talk about what she loved the most with such passion, and every time I wanted to talk about my obsessions like musicals, books, and of course Taylor Swift, she always listened to me, we learn a lot from each other and about each other too, I love these moments with her, that's what makes me feel that I matter to her.

"Alright what should we watch?" Nika said sitting in the couch "just please don't put another horror movie PLEASE" I said begging because I was so scared on our last movie night "I thought you weren't scared of that movie" Paige said coming from the kitchen teasing me "I wasn't, it's just boring" I said lying "Oh Annie please you were shitting your pants" Sarah said looking at me with a 'seriously?' face "shut up Sarah" I threw a pillow at her "okay" she laughed "Sorry" she blew me a kiss . Paige came closer to where I was sitting on the couch and Aubrey,Azzi and Nika moved a seat to her sit next to me, as if that spot was clearly reserved for Paige "thanks" she whispered for them sitting on my left side, she settled comfortably lying on my chest and sharing a blanket with me I put my arm around her to make her more comfortable. The movie started and it was a comedy , I love comedies but I couldn't pay attention to the movie I could only look at Paige, and how she smiled at every funny scene, how she was gently rubbing my leg while we watched the movie, and how her body felt against mine, and- "hey babe, are you okay?" She giggled a little and looked at me "uh? Yea im fine just a little distracted" "with what?" 'You' was what I thought but of course I didn't say it "nothing..." she nodded not wanting to go futher "You look so beautiful today" Paige said whispering and getting up from my leg and sitting next to me making me lie on her chest "You're looking 'sooo' beautiful today too" I said giggling "I am?" Paige said looking at me with a teasing tone "yes" I said not looking at her pretending to watch the movie "babe" she said "uhm?" "look at me" I looked at her and she was already looking at me with those big blue eyes that I could stare at all day, she pecked my lips gently and we both smiled during the quick kiss "P...do you want to spend the night here? Only if you want of course, you don't have to and-" I started to get anxious "of course I want to babe" "Oh...okay then" I giggled a little and went back to the movie feeling comfortable in her arms.

I could feel a gaze on me that wasn't Paige's, it was Sarah she probably saw us but I didn't care, she was looking at me with a cute smile and mouthed to me 'you two are the cutest' I mouthed back 'stop Sarah' blushing a little remembering that I was lying on Paige's chest 'love you' Sarah said 'love you too' I replied and we both went back to watching the movie

Merry Christmas Y'all!! Short chapter because I decided to split it into two parts.

I changed this chapter so many times that's why it took me a while to post it, I'm still deciding what changes I'm going to make in part 2 of it.
