𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙄 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪

Paige's pov:

The practice ended and I immediately ran to my room to take a shower and then went to the front of the hotel to get the things I needed. I was making up with Annie, I was getting her back, I couldn't stand the way she was looking at me at practice, the way we both are feeling this very spoken tension that is only hurting us makes me want to scream at her how much I need her and how sorry I am.

"Let me take the chocolates to the fridge, and you go with the flowers, okay?" Nika said, I had ordered flowers and chocolates and also bought Taylor Swift vinyls from the albums Lover, Folklore and Red to Annie "Just be careful not to bump into her in the hallways" Azzi said "I will, thanks guys for helping me" "Anything to see you happy P" Nika replied "We know how special she is to you, and how happy she makes you. If you're happy, we're happy too!" Azzi finished, knowing how they were supporting me was making me relax, although I was freaking out, what if she didn't forgive me? What if I messed up again? So many 'what ifs' running through my mind.

The flowers were ready, the vinyls were in a cute package, her favorite chocolates were also ready, and most importantly I was ready.

I went to Annie's room, knocked on the door and suddenly that confidence I had was gone, rizzler Paige? I didn't know her anymore. I was greeted by Sarah who had a little chat with me and after that let me and Annie alone. God, it was now or never, the hundred times I practiced with Nika what I was going to say to Annie, with Azzi's help to change some words, KK's jokes to not make it awkward, everything that I planned to say to her flew away from my head, but maybe it was a sign to use my own words, speak from my heart, truly.

Annie's pov:

When Paige walked into the dorm got a better look at her, she was holding a bouquet of several pink flowers, a box of my favorite chocolate, and a package that I couldn't tell what it was. She looked so vulnerable, and suddenly a blush appeared on my face remembering I was wearing my satin pajamas but I didn't have time to change into something better. A awkward feeling started to grow in the room then Paige spoke "Well...hi" she let out a small laugh, I could feel how nervous she was so I got closer to her just a little to show that I was listening to whatever she was going to say to me, even if it was bad "Hi" I said trying to sound casual but my smile betrayed me "Annie, we need to talk...about us" Paige said looking directly at me now "I know...im sorry I avoided you" As always I felt guilty for things I shouldn't "You don't need to apologize, I'm the one who does" Paige said "Look Paige...Im not mad at you, what happened at the party, you can do whatever you want...we are not togheter...But I thought we were starting something special, that's why im upset" I said the last part a little softly "No Annie, I screw up. We were starting something special, I like you I really do, but I was an asshole for letting Julia act like this" "Don't say that about yourself..." I interrupted her, my voice barely above a whisper "Annie you're the one I want" those words made me look at Paige and feel that feeling of when we first met again "I was trying to push Julia away, but she trapped me, and when I was leaving you saw me with her, we didn't even get to kiss, I swear that I would never hook up with her again, you're the girl I want Annie. You make me feel in a way I've never felt before, when I would imagined that I would be begging a girl for her fogiviness with flowers and chocolate?" She laughed, and I giggled too "Im sorry Annie, Im sorry for not be the girl you needed, I miss you so much. Do you forgive me?" I approached Paige and looked deep into her eyes "Of course I forgive you P" I smiled at her, and her face softened, she crossed her free arms around me and hugged me as if I was going to disappear at any moment

"These are for you" She pulled away and handed me the flower she was holding "Oh my gosh P, they are beautiful, and they're my favorite color" I could feel my eyes watering, never in this life I thought I would find someone so lovely as Paige, "Thank you P" She also handed me a box of my favorite chocolates "So...now that we're back, i need to ask you something I should've asked you a long time ago" I looked at her again "Would you go on a date with me? Let me treat you right this time" A date...how could that be more perfect? "Of course P" I smiled and couldn't help but lean into her, our mouths met in a slow kiss with pauses for smiles, I missed her touch, her lips, her voice, I missed Paige "tomorrow after the game, sound good?" She asked me "Sounds perfect" I smiled again "And...I have one last thing for you" Paige said holding me by my waist and picking up the pink package that was on the bed behind me "Oh Paige, you didn't have do buy me anything you know that, right? Your words are worth more than any gift" I said caressing her cheek "I know babe, but you worth it and deserve it too" she handed me the package "and I think you will like this one" I laughed at her shaking my head, I sat on the bed and started to open the package, I saw a colorful blue, pink, yellow cover, then a red one, and a gray one too, I couldn't belive what I was seeing "No way Paige" I looked at her and she was smirking, she put her hand on my thigh and the touch made my heart skip a beat "Did you liked?" She asked, Paige bought me the vinyls of my favorite Taylor Swift albums, this was perfect "Paige I loved it! Thank you so much" I hugged her so tight I could barely hear her 'you're welcome' "but how did you know these are the ones missing in my collection?" I asked "Do you think I wasn't listening to you when you were talking about your Taylor Swift vinyl collection?" It made my heart melt, Paige listens to me, she makes me feel like Im the most important one, Paige really likes me... "P that's... thank you, you didn't have to" I moved closer to her and she kissed my lips in a soft and sweet kiss "Yes had to, I meesed things up between us, this is just a way to show you how much I really like you and how I want you, how much I need you. Im sorry baby" "I really like you too P, that's why I was so upset. I forgive you." Hearing those words in a such vulnerable way from Paige was what made me belive her, we just stood there, hugging, kissing, cuddling, talking about how much we missed each other, just enjoying our moment before Paige had to go back to practice.

"Thank you P" I hugged and kissed her one more time before she left again for her afternoon practice "Always" She kissed me again "See you later princess" "See you my love" She left and I closed the door reluctantly, because now the only thing I wanted was to get away from her.

Night came and I was alone in my room, Sarah was with KK, the team was probably resting for tomorrow's big game, the hotel was silent, and all I could hear the sound of my TV playing Frozen, I was eating the chocolates Paige gave me and admiring the bouquet from afar, I was wasn't really paying attention to the movie the thought of Paige was distracting me, the way she seemed so genuine this morning, how she was so thoughtful with the gifts, and the most important her words and how she seemed to mean them.

A noise came from my cellphone that was on the nightstand

Meet me at the pool?

When I saw her name my breath quickened, it was late for the pool but I would never refuse. I answerd her with a 'Give me 10 minutes' and picked my favorite bikini from my bag, a basic navy blue bikini that makes me feel beautiful. I picked up a hobby because the night air was cold and the pool was a little far to walk in just a bikine.

I got to the pool area, it was beautiful, blue led lights illuminating the place and creating a cozy atmosphere, the pool was surrounded by fake rocks that gave a 'natural' impression,some coconut trees to gave a 'summer' vibe when the day light was in the sky, and some pool chairs around the large but intimate pool. I was getting closer and I could see Paige already in the pool, she was wearing a light purple bikine top and pool shorts, then she looked at me when she realized I had arrived "Hi" She said smirking, I got closer to the pool and sat on the pool chair that was closer to the edge "Hi" I smiled at Paige who approached the chair I was sitting but still in the pool, she rested her elbows on the edge of the pool "I missed you" She smirked looking deep into my eyes, I laughed "I missed you too...Thanks again for the gifts by the way" I said "I already told you, was the least I could do" I rolled my eyes playfully knowing I would forgive her with only her words "Aren't you going to come in?" Paige asked moving her arms in the water, her biceps flexing a little "Uh-hum" I mumbled taking of the hobby that was wrapped around me, Paige smiled at me, I got out of the chair and sat on the edge of the pool and Paige came closer and stood between my legs "baby you're so beautiful" She smirked and rested her head on my thigh and her hand rubbed the side of my thigh gently, looking at me with her beautiful blue eyes "Thanks love" Paige grabbed my waist and pulled me into the pool startling me "PAIGE" I screamed at the impact of the water "Calm down babe, the water is warm" Paige laughed at me and I could only smile, why was it so hard to stay mad at her? "I missed you..." I finally said wraping my arms around her neck, her hands were on my waist "I missed you too" we stood there looking at each other, now, we had all the time in the world to go slow, and make the things work, we just wanted to be close to each other, no rush, no pressure, just us getting to know each other and enjoying our intimate moments like this "You're so beautiful P, you remind me of a beautiful sunset" I said stroking her hair while she still had her hands around my waist "You're more beautiful babe, you're perfect" " I meant it, you're so beautiful it hurts" "I meant it too baby" She said pulling me closer "P just accept my compliment for once, please?" I giggled "Fine...Thanks pretty" I laughed and Paige suddenly picked me up, her hands now a little lower... "Paige, what are you doing?..." I laughed a little nervous at her touch "Nothing baby" Paige smirked and squeezed my ass a little "Can I kiss you?" Paige asked me, as always making sure I wasn't unconfortable "Yes" I said my voice like a whisper and leaned into her, the kiss started slow, like if we were testing the water, remembering the taste of each other again, with no rush because this time we knew neither of us would run away. The kiss got faster and Paige let me down placing me against the pool wall, my hand on her arms and her's playing with the string of my bikine panties on my hips, we separated both of us breathless, we were resting our foreheads against eachother and unspoken words circulating around us, but we didn't need to say anything we both knew we were exactly where we wanted to be, our eyes connected as if we were going to stay there staring at each other for forever, my heart was racing and a feeling in my heart spoke louder than my thoughts "I love you" without thinking twice the three words left my mouth, I started to regret it immediately when Paige just stared at me saying nothing.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have said tha-" "I love you Annie" then I heard Paige saying back with the biggest smile on her face, we were both were giggling like idiots then we closed the space between us again with a more passionate kiss this time, full of love.

We left the pool and walked back to our rooms, our hands intertwined "I think you should wear my jersey tomorrow" Paige said looking at me as we walked to our rooms, the cold night air blowing past us "But I don't have your jersey P" I giggle at how convinced she was with this idea "I can fix that don't worry. But please?" She made a 'puppy face' "You will look so beautiful, and people will know this pretty girl is rooting for me" Paige winked at me and I blushed thinking of wearing Paige's jersey, but also how cute it was that she wanted me to "Okay" I said "Will you?" "Of course" I smiled at her "You will be the prettiest girl on the court" Paige leaned over and gave me lots of kisses on my face.

"So..." we arrived at the room door "I guess that's my cue" I said, Paige couldn't stay because tomorrow she had to get ready for the game early, and so did I "Goodnight baby" Paige said as our fingers were still intertwined and we were face to face "Goodnight my love" I gave Paige a quick kiss and she tried to deepen the kiss "Don't start something we can't finish P" I said as I pulled away but still had my hands on her "Can't we?" She asked with a sassy smirk and I blushed "No" "Ugh, why not?" Paige said with a 'sad' tone "because you need to rest for the game tomorrow my love, and I need it too" I rubbed her arm gently while her hand was still on my waist pulling me closer to her "Fine..." she rolled her eyes playfully "Bye love,sleep well " She kissed me one last time and we both went to our room's "Bye pretty".
