𝙉𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙢𝙚, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤

Annie's pov:

I had 2 hours to get ready for the date, I took another shower, a everything shower and I used all my favorites products, I got out of the shower and decided my outfit, a long black dress and black heels, a black bag with a silver strap, jewelry I chose silver this time, I also chose a jacket in case the weather changed "What do you think?" I asked Sarah "Wow, you look stunning" Sarah was also hanging out with KK later "Thanks" I blushed a little, I had butterflies on my stomach all I could think about right now was Paige and how excited I was "I was thinking about wear my hair down, what do you think?" I asked Sarah for her opinion "that's perfect, you should curl you hair a little too, to bring out you natural waves, I can do that for you while you do your makeup" Sarah said "thanks sah, I would be nothing without you" I said jokingly "I know right?" She said playing, and starting to warm up the babyliss.

"Okay I think you're ready" Sarah said and I looked at myself in the hotel room mirror, I was feeling beautiful, but the nervousness was greater, Sarah handed me my bag "You're gorgeous An" "Thanks Sah" I looked at her with pure love and appreciation in my eyes.

If you told Annie from a few months ago that she is going on a date with Paige Bueckers she would never belive it, but it's not just Paige Bueckers is the girl I fell in love with in these months, the girl who gets me, care for me, respects me, the girl who loves me, something made me and her meet at the right time, Taylor Swift would say it's an invisble string that connects us or that maybe I was enchanted to meet her , but you know what? I totally belive her, Paige is everything I've ever dreamed if and more, I've spent my whole life wondering if she would know who I am and now look where we are, with the girl I love the most in the most genuine way ever.

"I think is Paige" Sarah said as we heard a knock on the door "Can you tell her im coming? I just need to reapply my lipgloss" I said to Sarah and quickly went to the bathroom to reapply my bright red strawberry flavored lip gloss. I left the bathroom and there she was, Sarah had gone somewhere because she wasn't in the room anymore, but Paige... oh Paige, she looked stunning, she was wearing a white top underneath a colorful kind of waistcoat, baggy jeans, and her hair was straight with small braids in it, My heart skipped a beat when I saw her but also when I saw the large bouquet of red roses she was holding "P you look..." I said with amusement is my eyes but she cut me off pulling me closer by my waist and softly kissing my lips "You look beautiful baby" She said as we pulled apart, a little bit of my lipgloss got on her lips "Thanks" I giggled "You look beautiful too" I kissed her once more, my fear I had of kissing no longer exists at this point "These are for you" She handed me the beauiful bouquet "P my love, thank you, you're perfect" My smile was bigger than ever "just for you" She winked at me as I found a place to put the flowers so they wouldn't get ruined, I laughed and shook my head at how corny she was, but I love it "So... are you ready?" Paige asked me pulling me closer "I am" "then let's go" Paige took my jacket from my hands leaving it free to intertwine our fingers, we left the hotel to the car she had probably rented just for the date, she opened the door for me to get in the car "Thanks" I smiled and got in, Paige got in the driver seat and started driving, one hand of her resting on mt thigh and the other on the wheel, her touch as always made me blush "Where are we going P?" I asked her a few seconds after we left the hotel "You'll see" She said "Aren't you gonna tell me?" I asked "Nop" Paige said making enfase on the 'op' "It's a suprise" she finished "Not even a clue?" I insisted "No. But you can put your music on while we're not there" Paige handed me her phone and I accepted, 'Nobody gets me' by SZA started playing, I had made a playlist with songs that reminded me of Paige and this song was one of the songs on the playlist, Paige loves SZA so when the song started she looked at me smirking knowing I had picked a song she liked and squeezed my thigh a little. We spent the whole drive in a comfortable silence and sometimes talking about sweet nothings, everything with Paige was so light and comfortable that we never have an awkward moment when we are togheter.

We arrived at the restaraunt, I could already tell it was an Italian restaurant, which was so special because I love Italian food, especially pasta, Paige opened the door for me and helped me out of the car holding my purse I said a small 'thank you' to her, she gave the car keys to the valet and we walked into the restaurant with our hands intertwined. "I have a reservation in the name of Paige Bueckers" Paige said to the woman "Oh sure, the waiter will show you your table, make yourself welcome" we followed the waiter to a very private table in the corner of the restaurant, the place had a red wallpaper, and cozy lights, comfortable music was being played live by a pianist in the center of the restaurant, the place also had a small garden outside that had a very romantic vibe to walk around after the dinner. We sat at our table, Paige was in front of me, and we ordered our food, of course I had to order my favorite type of pasta, pappardelle with white sauce, Paige ordered a Risotto and we also ordered a glass of wine to wait for our food, "You look so pretty baby" Paige said holding my hand from across the table, even though we were separated the table was very intimate so we were very close "Thanks my love" I smiled at her "Thanks for this, for everything actually, you're so good to me" My cheeks turned red "Im just doing what you deserve, I couldn't be luckier to have a girl like you in my life" I smiled at her "I loved watching you play today" I said starting a conversation "Oh yeah? What did you like the most?" Paige said putting her elbows on the table and keeping eye contact with me smirking,she was driving me crazy "um, I guess the way you looked so happy playing" I said, half lying because my favorite part was literally seeing Paige "Umm, I see...anything else?" Paige said teasing me, knowing I was hiding something "Maybe...you" I finally said, and a smile grew on Paige's face "Yeah I saw you giggling and smiling at me the whole game" Paige laughed at me "What? I wasn't" "Sure, Sure" She laughed again and I couldn't hold back my smile, Paige's laugh was my favorite sound "I liked to see you there too, especially in my jersey" She said "I liked it too" I looked at her with passion in my eyes, she was looking at me like I was the only person in the room "Are you gonna stay with the team after you finish your photography project?" Paige asked me "I don't know, only if Geno allows it" I answerd "He will, I'll make him" Paige said conviced "Paige" I laughed at her "Don't bother him about it okay?" "I won't" Paige said with a lying tone in her voice, I shook my head at her smiling "And what about Christmas break? Are going home?" I asked Paige "No,this year I'll probably stay on campus with part of the team" when Paige said that an idea came to my head, I was going to spend Christmas with my mom in New York, so why not invite Paige? My mom already loves her, so... "Why don't you come with me to New York?" I said "I won't bother you? You don't nee-" "Paige, I would love to have you for Christmas with me" Her eyes were shining and a smile appeared on her face "Well, if you just can't live without me..." She teased me and I rolled my eyes smiling "Yeah I can't spent a day without you, love" We laughed, but deep down I mean it. Our food arrived and we started eating while we talked about everything, that moment made me realize that I really love Paige and I would do anything to be with her, she is my soulmate, we are different and similar in many ways, my cheeks even hurt when im with her because theres not a second that I stop smiling, Im so lucky to have her.

At this moment Paige had moved to sit next to me and we were just sipping our wine while talking "You're lying, I can look at you without blushing" I said to her "Yeah?" Paige mumbled "Yes" "Okay so prove it" Paige moved her hand that was on my thigh to behind my seat and moved her head to look deep into my eyes, just a inches away from me, I could feel her breathing, and her gaze moving to my mouth, I hid my face with my hands and looked away my face was in a shade of red of course "Alrigh I can't" I gave up "Don't hide your pretty face, let me see you babe" I blushed even more when I heard her say that in that husky voice that she has when she speaks softly, I looked at her and she held my chin and kissed my lips gently smiling in the middle of the kiss, I just leaned into her touch.

We decided to walk in the beatiful garden that the restaurant had, it was beautiful and had a very romantic vibe, I was holding Paige's hand and yapping as we walked to a cute benche "And when I was little my mom gave me a pink small camera, I would take photos of everything, I even slept with the camera on the first day I got it. And I won a photography contest when I was 5 with this same camera" I said excitedly "Really? That's so cute babe, I would love to see the pictures you took when you were a kid" Paige said "Sorry im talking too much right?" We sat on a benche a little hiden in the garden, with some lights illuminating the place making it cozy "Of course not, I love hearing you talk" I melted hearing this, I smiled at her as she played with a strand of my hair, I was still holding one of her hands playing with her fingers, a the moment was holding a vibe that only the two of us could understand "An..." Paige said looking deep into my eyes, something was different like as if something had changed in her gaze, in a good way "I've wanted to ask you that for a long time" Paige took a breath and I looked at her with concern "You're the most amazing, talented, beatiful, and kind girl I've ever met, and that's what made me fall in love with you, you just so lovely and the way you make people feel safe and comfortable around you it's so beatiful, no girl has ever made me feel the way you make me feel, you just make me want to be with you forever you make me happy Annie, everything is better with you" I could feel my heart racing and my eyes watering, then Paige took a small box out of her pocket, "Annie Roberts, will you be my girlfriend?" She knelt in front of me and opened the box, a beatiful ring was there waiting for my yes, I looked at her again I could feel a small tear running down my face "Oh my god yes, of course yes" I held her face and kissed her, a kiss with so much feeling "I love you" Paige said getting up from the floor and placing the ring in my hand "I love you Paige" we kissed again, and again, and again... until we left the restaurant, I was smiling the whole time and so was Paige, we were in the car heading back to the hotel "I was wondering... you don't mind making this public now right? I just don't want to hide us anymore" Paige asked me as she drove, one of her hand on my thigh "Im okay with it...if you really don't mind" I said overthinking a little, I didn't wanted Paige to feel pressured "I want to show my beautiful girlfriend to the world" Paige said teasing "You're 'sooo' corny my love" I laughed "You love me" She said "Yes, I do" I smiled at her and Paige gave me a look smiling and looked back at the road.

We arrived at the hotel again and I decided to spend the night on Paige's room, Paige opened the door of the room and we went in, we lay on her bed for a while talking and smiling, in our own world that only we understood.

I decided to take a shower because I can't sleep without taking a shower first, I was already in the shower then I heard a knock on the door "Babe" Paige's voice called out from the bathroom "Yes?" I replied still focused on my shower "Can I join you?" My heart skipped a beat when I saw Paige entering in the bathroom "yeah, come in" I said shyly and nervously, even though we had already done even more than that, "Hi" Paige said getting under the water with me "Hi" I smiled shyly, Paige kissed my forehead then the bridge of my nose and finally my lips, we both smiled.

We finished the shower and Paige lent me a shirt to sleep, of course it was bigger than me so I only wore the shirt, I could feel her gaze on me as I brushed my hair, I sat on the bed with her "You're look so pretty in my clothes" Paige said holding my waist pulling me on top of her, I blushed at the sudden act "Thanks" She smirked at me and closed the space between us with a slow kiss that soon turned in a rushed one, her hands running down on my body and pulling me closer, my breathing started to get faster and my heart was beating fast, something in the mood changed, something in me changed too, a feeling of need and desire "Paige..." I said "I know babe, I know" She kissed me again and this time I was playing with the hem of her shirt, a heat took over my body and a feeling of confidence invaded my body "Take it off" I said to her referring to her shirt, Paige just smirked at me and did it. Our night went to this for better, we had each other now and we knew it would last forever, no one could ruin it, that involved us now was more special, more sincere,

it was love, pure and honest love, and we both felt it.

Finally girlfriends!!!! I just loved writing this chapter, it's so fun to imagine everything happening in my head.
