Paige's pov:

It's been two days since Annie slept in my dorm, since that day I haven't been able stop to think about her, If she were anyone I would have forgotten about her by now but something about her intrigues me and make me not want to leave.

Today at the practice she came early because she had a meeting with Geno, she was wearing a skirt with her tipical tops I couldn't help but look at her "You're staring" Nika told me "I know" I didn't try to lie to Nika she knew me very well "I can't belive that a girl finally made Paige Bueckers change her mind" Nika said passing me the ball, we were warming up "What do you mean?" I didn't understand what nika was trying to tell me "Paige you are obssesed with her, and she slept on your dorm and you two just had sweet talks and didn't even kissed, i'm so proud of you" She said dramatically, unfortunately Nika was right, usually I met girls at a random party, I left the party with the girl we don't even try get to know each other better and then I left her in the middle of the night, sometimes I don't even knew her name. But for some reason I didn't want it to be like it this time, when Annie was at my dorm I tried to respect her and make her comfortable, not that I didn't respect the other girls but they were there for a reason so I didn't had time to talk or something, sometimes I couldn't help but compliment her, she looked so pretty in my clothes that I could look at her the whole day, but I wanted to know her and I didn't wanted the things to go fast... "yea...maybe" "Why don't you invite her to our team lunch? Since she is part of the team" This was a good idea, maybe I should invite her "I don't know, do you think she would go?" "Of course".

Annie and Sarah came out of Geno's office and started to take pictures of us at practice, I couldn't stop looking at her, she was always smiling and sometimes I caught her staring at me. The practice was over and KK always went to talk with Sarah at the end so I went with her to ask Annie to come with us on our lunch "Hi babe, hi Paige" Sarah said "Hi" I replied to her, but I was looking at Annie who was sitting on the benches watching something on her camera, I sat next to her "hi pretty" She turned to me a little scared, she was very focoused on her camera "oh, hi P" Her face was blushing again, I knew I had this effect in her and I liked to see her blush "Did you take any good pictures of me?" I said trying to tease her but she showed me one of the best pictures of me I've ever seen "Yes, I took this one I think you will like it" She handed me the camera, she is so talented "this is so cool, you're so talented" "Thank you" she was blushing again, she hid her face looking at her knees "Do you want to have lunch with the team today?" I finally asked her, she looked at me with a suprised expression, for a moment I though she would refuse "Isn't it a private lunch just for the team?" She asked me, she was always overthinking "Yes but you are part of the team, and KK is probably inviting Sarah too" "oh...ok then" I was so relif she accepted, she was making me nervous again, how can this girl do this with me? "I will pick you up at 11:30 ok?" "You don't need to pick me-" "Yes I do, at 11:30 is that good for you?" I cutted her "Yes it's good" She laughed giving up arguing with me, I loved the sound of her laugh, I wasn't falling in love right? I met her two days ago.

Annie's pov:

It was 11a.m and I was getting ready for lunch with the team that Paige invited me to, Sarah was taking a shower and I was on my room doing my makeup while listening to my playlist, I was undecided about my outfit so I decided to go with a basic white dress. I was starting to feel what scared me the most, I was starting to like Paige more than as friend, I really wanted her to like me too, sometimes she make me think she likes me but then I remember that she can have any girl she wants and she would never want me, i finished my makeup picked up my bag and went to Sarah's room. Our dorm wasn't big but it wasn't small too, it had two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a small living room, was perfect for me and Sarah. "Sah are you ready?" I said entering in her bedroom " Yes, I just need lip gloss" She said to me "okay" Sarah looked at me with a weird face "Are you okay?" She asked "yes why?" "You're haging out with Paige and the team and you're not freaking out????" Sarah made me relize that I wasn't nervous somehow "Yes...I think i'm getting used to them" I answerd her smiling to myself, then I felt a body against mine hugging me "I'M SO PROUD OF YOU AN" she screamed while hugging me "Thanks sah" I couldn't stop to laugh she makes me so happy.

Sarah and I left the dorm, Sarah and KK were coming with Paige too, Sarah got in the back with KK and I got in the front with Paige, Sarah and I said hi to them "Hi P" I said entering in the car, Paige was looking at me with a look that I couldn't decipher "Hi princess" I don't know why but she started to call me pretty, princess and other cutes nicknames since the day I slept on her dorm, I'm not used to that and I think Sarah never saw Paige calling me like that so she looked at me with a dramatic suprised face that she does "You look beautiful" Paige said, I think in my entire life the only person who compliments me like that is Sarah and my mom, but Paige says I look beautiful everytime she sees me, it's so cute "thank you, you're look really pretty too" I said shyly, she makes me so nervous "thanks" she winked at me. The drive was calm and comfortable SZA playing in the background and Paige was humming some lyrics, she told me that SZA was one of her favorites singers.

When we arrived at the place Paige opened the car door for me and helped me get out of the car, when I turned around I felt a hand on my waist not letting me go away, I got scared and freaked out a little "calm down" I heard Paige's voice and I calmed down, she stopped me behind the car "your dress is lifted, let me fix it for you" I nodded and she lightly tugged on my dress "thank you" I said feeling my face burn,for some reason she is so sweet to with me it's hard not to fall for her, Paige winked at me and we headed towards KK and Sarah, for me it took hours behind the car but it wasn't even two minutes, Paige held the door for us to entered on the restaurant and all the girls were already there I sat between Sarah and Nika in front of me were Azzi, Paige, Aubrey and the rest of the team was spread out on the table. We orded our foods and the team was talking while it didn't came "So Annie how did you start taking photos?" Nika asked me "My mom is a photographer, and she passed this love to me" Me and my mom had always been close, she taugh me everything since how to be a good person to how to be a good photographer. "Is your mom a photographer??" KK asked "Yes she works for the WNBA" My mom is one of the best photographer I've ever met she is my inspiration "Wow that's so cool" Nika said "Why didn't you ever tell us that?" Azzi said " I don't know, i guess I didn't get the chance" I said letting out a small laugh "We need to hang out more often" Aubrey said, I could also feel Paige's gaze on me "Why don't you guys come to our dorm tonight? We could have a movie night" Sarah said looking at me to approval "that would be fun, I can cook brownies" I said Nika,Paige,Azzi,KK, and Aubrey said yes but the rest of the team said that they had commitments so they couldn't. Our food arrived and when the waitress was putting my drink on the table she dropped mine on me "oh my god i'm so sorry" the waitress said, of couse I wasn't happy with that but it also wasn't her fault "oh...that's fine, i'm going to the bathroom to clean myself" I said and the waitress was trying to clean the table to help me "Oh my god , do you want me to come with you?" Sarah said getting up from the table "Don't worry Sah, I can do it, you can stay and eat your food" She tried to argue with me but this time I won, the girls also tried to help me but I didn't want to be a problem so I went to the bathroom alone. I was cleaning myself when I heard a noise on the bathroom door, it was Paige "Let me help you" She said approching me "Thanks Paige, but I can do it myself" "I don't think so" she pointed to my dress wich was full of orange juice, i sighed "Okay, but how are you going to help me? I only have this dress here" "Don't worry" She said taking off her button-down blouse, she was wearing a tank top underneath and oh...her arms..., FOCUS ANNIE,she came closer to me and she put her button blouse on me, she closed the buttons to hide the orange stain on my dress, the whole time she was looking into my eyes, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒊𝒇 𝑰 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒘?It's the only thing that goes through my head every time i'm with Paige, I feel this urge to touch her, to be closer to her, I never felt this way about anyone it's so scary to me, I wonder if she feel the same "ready" she still had her hand in my waist, we were very close I could feel her breathing, I wanted to kiss her, I think she wanted it too "Annie are you okay-" Sarah stopped on the bathroom door, I walked away from Paige and my face was burning "YES, I was already leaving" I said nervously "Are you sure you were already leaving?" Paige said behind me smirking, I looked at her with a red face then looked at Sarah that was with a shocked face "let's finish eating i'm hungry" I said leaving the bathroom, Sarah and Paige laughing together.
