It was about 10 at night when Travis got free from the office. These past two weeks have been a living hell for him. Gary, his senior, left no stone unturned to make his time in Richard Crawford's company unbearable. Even though Travis had no experience and was just a high school student, Gary dumped all his work on him and expected him to know everything without even going to business school. He wished he could complain to any superior but then he didn't want to come across as a whiny, ungrateful person.

Usually, he gets free at 8 but today, Gary ordered him to complete his whole presentation that took Travis hours. After doing that, he went straight to pick up his mom but unfortunately, she still had an hour before she was free to leave.

Not knowing what to do, Travis made his way to Zoey's room with a tired mind and an exhausted body. Zoey was scrolling down her phone when he entered through the wooden door.

"Finally found some time for me?" Zoey asked sarcastically because in these two weeks, they rarely spent any time together.

"Sorry." Travis said absentmindedly and after reaching the bed, collapsed on Zoey's lap. His legs sprawled on the bed while he nuzzled his face against Zoey's belly.

"Somebody looks tired." Zoey smiled and slowly massaged his scalp. He snuggled deeper into her and wrapped both arms around her waist.

"I'm so tired." He mumbled.

"There is something that can relieve your exhaustion." Zoey said and Travis raised his head from her lap.

"Not now, Zoey." He said.

"You have such a dirty mind, Anderson." She said, slapping his forehead lightly. "I meant, I can run a warm bath for you."

"And why would you do that?" He asked.

"Because I am a caring trial girlfriend." She winked mischievously.

Leaving the bed, she went to the bathroom and filled the jacuzzi with warm water. She then added some lavender bath salts to help relieve his stress. Once the bath was ready, she dragged his tired body to the bathroom and eased him out of his shirt.

"I can do the rest myself." Travis smirked and turned around to unbuckle his pants.

Zoey bit her lips as he slipped out of pants, leaving his toned legs bare. "I am leaving because your presence in the bathroom without clothes is not good for my hormones." She announced and walked out of the bathroom.

Shaking his head in fake disappointment, Travis closed the door behind him. Zoey walked back to the bed and once again started scrolling her Instagram.

After some half an hour, Travis walked out of the bathroom with nothing but his pants on. Zoey's eyes shamelessly lingered on his sculpted abs without caring about getting caught. After drying his hair and chest with the towel, Travis put it on an empty chair and then once again lay down on the bed at Zoey's side.

She pulled the blanket on top of both of them and then cuddled against his warm chest. "Do you feel better?" She asked.

"I feel sleepy." Travis replied, closing his eyes for a moment.

"Then sleep. My driver will drive Rose home." Zoey replied.

"Mom will ask questions." Travis said in sleepy voice.

"No, she won't. I'll tell her that we have an assignment that we have to work on till late." Zoey said and ran her fingers in his hair in gentle, massaging manner. The action made him even more sleepy.

"Are you sure?" He asked, hiding his face in the crook of her neck.

"Yeah." Zoey mumbled and traced the outline of his back muscles. "You sleep well and leave the rest on me."

Travis nodded against her neck and yawned out loud. His warm breath tickled her sensitive skin as she lay beneath his still so not to disturb him.

A warm feeling crept up her cheeks at their position. There was nothing sexual about this moment, which was scary for her. She always felt like she was only physically attracted to him but it wasn't true. There was a deeper connection between them, trespassing the bodily desires. She wanted him, all of him, in every way possible; his body, his soul, his heart, his mind.

This was the second time Zoey was entering her father's office in years. The first time was when she needed money for Travis' father's treatment and the second time was also for Travis.

The receptionist guided her to the lounge where Travis's desk was located. With her heels clicking on the floor, she made her way to the fifth floor through the elevator and then to her left.

Inside the lounge, Travis was sitting at the far right cabin. His eyebrows were drawn together as he stared at the file in his hand. She silently made her way behind him and entered his small wooden cabin. Reaching him, she wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her chin on his shoulder.

"Hey, boyfriend." She said.

Travis angled his neck and a smile broke on his lips as he saw her. Leaning forwards, they both kissed very briefly, and then Zoey pulled away.

"No time for that. First tell me, who is the guy that you were telling me about?" She asked, looking around.

"What guy?" Travis asked.

"The guy that bullies you." Zoey gritted while she stared around herself.

"You don't have to. Let me deal with him myself." Travis whispered.

Ignoring his words, Zoey tried to locate the guy. "Wait. You told me his name. Gary, was it?" She said, stressing on her brain. "Is there a Gary here?"

"Yes." The man sitting in the adjacent cabin asked. Zoey eyed him from head to toe, noticing his dirty ginger hair and thin physique. A guy like him just need few punches to get his mind set right.

"Zoey, don't." Travis gripped her hand to stop her from doing anything stupid.

"Ssshhh." Zoey silenced him and then made his way to Gary's cabin. Putting both her hands on his desk, she leaned downwards and glared into his eyes. "Do you know who I am?"

"No." He responded with a blank face.

"Well, let me tell you my name. Maybe that will ring a bell. Zoey Crawford." She said and the man's face paled all of sudden. "Do you want me to tell you my father's name or is it obvious?"

"M... Miss. C... Crawford, d... Did I do something?" He asked.

"Yeah. You tormented my boyfriend and now it's time for me to do the same to you." Zoey smirked to scare him.

"B... Boyfriend?"

"Travis." She told him.

"I didn't know, ma'am. It won't happen again, I promise." Gary replied as his eyes switched between Zoey and Travis.

"It better not." She said and stood up straight. The whole time, Travis kept trying to stop her. "Now your job is to teach him how things work around here. Can I trust you to do it?"

"Yes." He nodded.

"Good boy." Zoey said and then turned to face Travis, who had a frown etched on his face.

"What?" She asked.

Instead of replying, Travis gripped her wrist and pulled her forwards. Zoey tried to match his speed as he led her somewhere. She had probably angered him by interfering but if it was up to her, she would do it again and again.

"Travis!" She shouted and that's when he took her into a room. Closing the door behind them, Travis pinned her to a wall and stared down at her from his tall height.

"I am not sorry for doing it, Travis. He deserved it so you can be angry all you want but---" Travis cut her mid-sentence by placing his lips on her. Realizing what was happening, Zoey closed her eyes and snaked her arms around his neck. The kiss was rough enough to cause shiver after shiver down her spine. He sucked her lips, bit them, left his imprints and then entered the seam of her lips. Zoey moaned as his eager tongue explored her mouth.

After a long time, he broke the kiss and they both exhaled deeply to catch the oxygen. "What was that for?" Zoey asked, still breathing hard.

Travis gently brushed her hair back from her face and cupped her chin. "I don't want to be your trial boyfriend anymore."

At this, Zoey scowled. "So that was a break-up kiss? Wow. Honestly Anderson, I think we had a good run. This is my longest relationship till date."

"Zoey!" He silenced her by putting his hand on her mouth. "I am not breaking up with you. I want to be your real boyfriend."

Hearing this, Zoey blinked twice, observing his face for any sign of a joke. "So, um what about my Dad? And your Mom? And our friends? Or--"

"I don't care. I want you," He said. "only if you will take me."

Zoey gulped, staring into his kind, hazel eyes. She was directly being asked to do something that scares the crap out of her usually but the weird things was, she wasn't scared at all.

"I will." She smiled and slowly brushed her lips against Travis' once again. He smiled in between the kiss and locked his hands around her waist, picking her up from the ground.

They weren't going to break apart anytime soon if it wasn't for the loud voice that echoed in the whole room.

"What the hell is going on in here?" The familiar voice growled and both Zoey and Anderson jumped up in surprise.

My university has opened up after six months and I spend most of my day in the hospital wards. The schedule is jam-packed to compensate the loss of study during the lockdowns. So please don't expect daily updates. :)
