And this isn’t like any of them...An utterly pragmatic and selfish (bordering evil) MC has been reborn into an alternate reality... Not one of plot armors and Mary Sue characters... but of war, death, and cruelty. One where only the strong survive. And our protagonist is certainly not planning to die again anytime soon...He plans on surviving, no matter what the cost...Woe to whoever is foolish enough to stand in his way... Collapse Fanfiction, Ruthless Protagonist, Clever Protagonist, Reincarnated in Another World, Male Protagonist, Selfish Protagonist, Naruto, Weak to Strong, Special Abilities 3.5 out of 5. It's not bad, just go into this knowing that this novel can be extremely edgy at times, giving you some cringe moments(alpha/beta talk, "asserting dominance", treating everyone as disposable conveniences,etc). That's ok though, i already knew what i was getting into and just read this novel for fun, which it is. However, since the mc treated everyone as tools to grow his power, it was hard to care for the characters at all(mostly relying on naruto nostalgia to keep me interested), or care for the mc, since he was pretty much a high functioning sociopath who barely cared for anyone. The mc was basically a dislikable bastard whom you read about just for fun. Reading the comments on each chapter was also a great part of my enjoyment, many funny edgelords. Couldn't read past 33 chapters. MC is trying to be Mr. cynical EDGELORD with all his heart inside his mind while acting "calmly", making girls fall over heels for him (while MC shits on the said girls in his mind) and making others in awe of him. At the same time author tries to portray the world and its inhabitants as dark and cynical as well (the characters that weren't made cynical by author, were made idiots. So it's either this or that, or something from both worlds). If you compare both visions at the same time, all the points of this look funny from the mature perspective and I really can't get serious while reading this novel because of said points.Actually, all of that before was just my opinion, but what I know for sure, it's that author is really bad at writing psychopath main protagonist. This is really important and not that easy if you want to make good protagonist for your book while making him psychopath at the same time, and by the 33 chapters I read, I understand that author really failed at this. There's so much more to get this interesting and entertaining to do to make such protagonist that I would need to write at least 20+ comments for this while reading 20+ tabs about psychology that it's overwhelming. And what do we get instead? I WON'T BETRAY THEIR MEMORY BY LOVING ANOTHER FAMILY IN A WORLD OF KILLERS, THAT IS LIKE SPITTING IN THEIR FACES AND THEIR MEMORY....Yeah, right. Anyway, maybe it's somehow solved in later chapters but it's not my problem anymore.
