Midoriya POV

"... Deku? Deku?" Uraraka waves a hand in front of my face.

"Huh? Oh, sorry." I snap to attention.

"You've been really out if it since your fight with Bakugo-kun last week, kero." Asui observes.

I try to focus. "Sorry, Asu— I mean, Tsuyu. What where you saying?"

"We're having a sleepover to get to know everyone better!" Ashido announces. "It's at Yayomomo's house tonight, can you come? It's going to be really fun!"

"I think so. I'll just text my mum to check." I open up my phone and quickly fire off a text to ask her. She replies immediately, yes. "Yeah, sure, I can come," I confirm, and munch on a delicious mouthful of Lunch Rush's rice.

"Yay! So far everyone can make it... but I haven't asked Todoroki and Bakugo yet," Mina says. She chews a fingernail. "I don't really know how to approach Todoroki... he's so distant!"

"I can ask him, if you want," I offer.

"Really? Thanks! Well, I'll go find Bakugo to ask him now." She gets up from the cafeteria table and dashes off.

"Well... I better ask Todoroki-kun. Do you know where he is?" I ask Iida, Uraraka and Tsuyu.

"He eats his lunch in the classroom," Iida informs me.

"Thanks. See you guys soon."

I make my way to the classroom and sure enough, Todoroki is sitting at his desk, head bent, two-toned hair falling over his face as he slurps soba noodles quietly.

"H-hi Todoroki-kun," I stand in the doorway some-what awkwardly.

He glances up. "Hello, Midoriya-kun."

"Um, the class is having a sleepover at Yayomomo's house tonight, to get to know each other better. Would you like to come?"

He gazes at me with a calm intensity. "Will you be there?"

"Y-yes..."

"Then I will come. I'll see you tonight, Midoriya-kun."

I feel a blush creep onto my face. "O-okay. I'll let Mina know... see you!"

Bakugo POV

"What? A sleepover? Why the hell would I want to do that?" I demand.

Racoon Eyes seems unfazed by my yelling. "To bond with your classmates, duh. And it's my job to plan a sleepover — I do it in every fanfiction!"

"Huh? What the hell are you talking about?"

"Oh shit," she giggles. "Nearly broke the fourth wall!"

I blink at her, bewildered. "Are you on drugs or some shit?"

"You'll never know!" she sings, and waltzes down the hallway. Over her shoulder, she calls, "I'd better see you tonight!"

Damn it.

Oh well. It's not like I have anything better to do.

—

I arrive at Ponytail's house at six pm. I'd planned on bailing, but Shitty-Hair, Soysauce, Racoon Eyes, and Dunce Face showed up at my doorstep and dragged me here.

Dunce Face rings the doorbell and steps back, bouncing on his toes. He admires the house. "Woah, it's practically a palace!"

"Tch. Shut up, Pikachu," I snap.

"Bakubro, you play Pokemon?" The redhead asks.

"Shut up, or I'll shove your fucking Crocs up your ass!" I rage at him.

He just laughs it off easily. This group of brainless idiots seem unaffected by my anger. I'm basically powerless when it comes to them. Ugh.

A tall butler with chin lenght raven hair, alabaster skin, and crimson eyes opens the door to the mansion for us. "Welcome in, friends of Yaoyorozu," he says with a bow.

"Wow, a butler!" Mina squeals. She runs across the foyer to greet Momo with a hug. "Your house is amazing," she gushes.

Kaminari lets out a low whistle. "She's rich, huh?"

"No shit," I grumble.

"Come this way, please, guys," Momo waves us over. "We're having the sleepover in the living room."

The 'living room' is more like a fucking sports oval — it's huge. Plush couches have been pushed against the walls to make room in the middle for sleeping bags.

"You can put your sleeping bags wherever you'd like," she informs. "We're just waiting for a Todoroki-kun and Midoriya-kun, and then we can start some games!"

I throw my orange sleeping bag down a little way off from the others' and flop down on top of it.

The doorbell rings.

"That must be them now, kero," Frog-girl croaks.

A minute later, Deku and Icy-hot join the rest of us in the room. Did they come together? Eh, why do I fucking care?! I don't.

"Hi, Kacchan!" Deku calls when he sees me. He ventures over to me and lays his green sleeping bag next to mine. "I hope you don't mind if I sleep here."

I roll my eyes. "Tch. Whatever, nerd."

"Hey, where's Mineta?" Kaminari asks.

"Us girls took a vote to ban him, and it was unanimous," Toru answers. I can't see her, but I imagine she'd be pulling a disgusted face.

"While I do not approve of excluding classmates, his inappropriate behaviour has brought this upon himself, and I can guarantee that it is a safer sleepover environment without his presence," Four-eyes confirms. God, why does this guy always have to talk like a fucking essay?

"Alrriiiiggghtttt!" Mina pumps her pink hands in the air. "Time for the games!"

"Should we not dedicate at least a decent hour of studying time first? Work before play, they say!" Iida intervenes.

"Oh, Iida," half the room choruses. "Just relax and have fun!"

"Very well."

"Okayyyyyy! Truth or Dare? Spin the Bottle?" Mina rattles off a list of games. "Twister? Jenga? Never Have I Ever?"

"As class president, I refuse to let any of you play a game involving alcohol!"

"Okay," Mina concedes, "No Never Have I Ever, then. How about..."

I sit up from my sleeping bag. "Just pick a damn game already."

"Twister it is!" Pink-cheeks makes the decision.

Momo pulls out the box holding the game and unfolds the mat for us. "We can have four people on the mat at a time. And we need someone to be the referee,"

"I'll do it," Soysauce volunteers.

"Great! So... Who wants to go first?"

"I'll play!" Deku chirps.

Icy-hot seems to suddenly take interest. "I will, too."

"Yeah! I'll play!" Kirishima pipes up. He turns to me. "What about you, Bakubro?"

"This game is stupid." I growl.

"Are you scared you won't win?" Half-and-half asks coolly.

I leap up from my sleeping bag. "The hell?! I'll play, and I'll fucking win!" I yell in his face.

He stares at me evenly. "May the best opponent win."

"I WILL!" I shout. "Get this damn game started," I smirk, and crack my knuckles for show.

"Okay. Get ready," Sero says in a flat tone.

Mina shoves him, "Make it interesting!" She grabs her hairbrush out of her colourful duffel bag and speaks into it as if it were a microphone. "Allrightttt, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and everyone in-between! Our four competitors are at their starting points, ready to make the first move. And the first move is..." she waits for Sero to spin the wheel. "Left foot, yellow!"

We all rush to land in the spot, and make it.

"Off to a good start!" Mina calls. "Next: right hand green!"

I lunge for the spot.

"Left hand, blue!"

My hands are crossed over each other, but it's still fairly easy.

"Right foot, red!"

I reach out my right foot, and I make it. However, Kirishima crashes, falling ontop of his arms.

"Ow," he groans.

"Oh no! It looks like Kirishima's out!" Mina fake-cries. "It's down to three players, now, folks! Who will win?"

"Get on with it," I get out through clenched teeth.

"Left foot, blue! Left hand red!"

"Damn it," I mutter, as I manoeuvre my hand and try to balance.

"Right foot, green!"

We're all crisscrossed now. My right leg is over Deku's arm. Icy-hot struggles to keep his weight even, but he darts out his knee, and it touches the mat.

"The crowd favourite Todoroki is out!" Mina announces. "We're down to the final two competitors, fierce childhood rivals, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo!"

"GO, BAKUGO!" Kaminari and Kirishima scream at me.

"Left hand blue! Right foot yellow!"

I'm like a pretzel — the whole point of the damn game, I guess — and practically on top of Deku. Underneath me, he risks flipping over so that he faces upwards, in a crossed over gymnastic-style bridge. He makes it, but it nearly unbalances me.

"Damn it, Deku," I growl at him, my entire body straining to keep me up. My head is near his neck.

"Right hand, red! Left hand yellow!"

My arms are on either side of Deku now. My muscles are tired. I can't hold it much longer.

Fine. If I'm going down, He's going down with me.

"Hey, Deku," I say softly, looking into his glittering emerald eyes framed by thick lashes.

"Y-yes, Kacchan?" His breath is coming short from the strain of holding himself up.

I lean in closer to his ear.

"W-wha—"

"Your right arm isn't on the circle," I whisper with a smirk.

He looks to his shaky right arm and tries to shift it so it's on the circle properly instead of half-touching it. His arm buckles and he shouts, barely managing to grip the mat and keep upright.

"Left foot blue!"

Deku struggles to shift, and his knee bends, accidentally hitting me in the groin. "Agh!" I yell as I collapse on top of him, knocking us both off our feet. My torso lands on-top of his, and my head falls into the space between his neck and collarbone.

"They're both down! It's a tie!" Mina shrieks.

"Damn... it" I pant. My body is tired. I can't lift myself off him, not yet.

"U-um, K-kacchan?"

I manage to lift my head to look at him. "Yeah?" I breathe.

"You—" he starts. "you're crushing me."

"Right." I roll off him and lie on my back on the mat next to him. I exhale.

"Good game?" he says tentatively, cautious incase I explode at him. But I'm not angry. I don't want to be angry at him.

"Yeah, good game," I agree.

"H-huh? Aren't you mad?"

I don't reply, just push myself up and move back to my sleeping bag.

"Okay," Mina claps her hands to break the awkward tension in the room. "Shall we play Truth or Dare?"
