Then, the cold came. I had installed a heater in Clemmie's office. It could project light so that entities are less prone to spawn. During the whole installation, The Void looked at what I was doing.
At some point, I got lost in my thoughts and at the end of the installation I surprised myself having completely forgotten about it.
At the end Clemmie thanked me and told me that The Void liked me. Clemmie spoke on behalf of The Void and it disturbed me. How does he know what The Void thinks? Is it possessing him? Is it eating his mind slowly but surely? I didn't raise my concerns because I didn't want Clemmie to worry.
Instead, I asked him why he chose to call this entity The Void. He told me that he named the entity Void because it looked like there was nothing when it closed its eyes and he associated the void with the colour black.
He told me he was hesitant to call it The Abyss as well and that The Void picked its name. This means their communication has gone on for longer than I thought.
I went away, thinking about it. I promised myself I would keep a closer eye on Clemmie and look out for any change in behaviour.
