We must have fallen asleep at some point because when I woke up, I was still snuggled up against Domick.

More people were at the park too, including my aunt.

Why is she always here?

This time she didn't notice us while heading into the trees. I don't even think anything is in there, except a gardening shed or some type of small building.

And I don't think that she's the one that is supposed to upkeep the park grounds.

I slowly started to extract myself off Domick in order to go and see what my aunt was up to. Somehow he didn't wake up from my movements on top of him.

Domick looks so cute with those leaves in his hair.

I had to refrain myself from giggling out loud.

My aunt had been acting very suspicious lately, warning me away from Domick, talking to me, going to a park for seemingly no reason. So maybe I'll just follow her and find out what she's being so weird for.

I felt bad for leaving Domick sleeping there, but my aunt was my problem, not his. That and now that I knew he was a berserker, I knew he could defend himself if something were to happen.

Even before I knew that information, I knew he take care of himself, those muscles say enough.

My aunt was about to disappear into the tree-line, so I hurried my 'casual' walk. Based on the odd stares I was getting, it wasn't very casual.

We made it into the trees and as I followed behind her I tried to be as quiet as possible. But my aunt seemed more focused on the destination than the journey.

Sure enough, she was heading for the gardening shed where the park keeps some of its supplies.

I had managed to not be noticed as she walked up to the building. She put her finger on the middle of a symbol that was in the middle of the door. The symbol looked like three bear claw marks overlapping an eye that had an outline of a brain around it.

The symbol glowed blue and the door opened for my aunt, she walked into the shed without hesitation.

Is she part of the Illuminati? The eyeball would make sense.

I shook off that question when I recalled what Domick had told me.

Maybe this was the secret government, aka the Council.

The more I thought about it, the more it seemed to make sense. It could be their base, because the eyeball could technically be for seers, the brain outline for brainiacs, and the claw marks for berserkers.

I was a little proud of myself for seeming to figure that out myself, without Domick having to tell me.

I saw the door was starting to shut so I ran to try and catch it. I was too late. I stepped back and stared heartbreakingly at the door.

The eye stared back at me.

Maybe if I touched the same spot as she did it would open. Hopefully it was just a button that prevented theft from the shed, not a secret entrance to what Domick thinks is a corrupt government.

I was a little scared what I would find behind the door, after all, wasn't Domick hesitant to bring me in for a reason? Maybe I should go back for Domick.

I went to take a step back, but something made me put my finger up to the symbol anyway.

Ouch! I felt a small pick and a blood drop get sucked in the eye.

The symbol flashed green and opened. Darkness greeted me.

Why didn't it flash blue, but green?

Nervously staring into the darkness, I was started to think I should head back and just ask my aunt at home what she was doing here. If she would stop to talk to me long enough.

A heavy hand suddenly fell on my shoulder.

I shrieked as I threw it off and spun around.

Domick stepped back with his hands raised and wings flared defensively, "Kira, its okay, its only me," he looked into the doorway behind me, "Ummm, what are you doing? Are you stealing?"

"What? No. I thought I saw someone I knew come over here." I don't know why I was lying to Domick when he was the one who could help me with this.

The door slid shut and I knew the moment Domick saw the symbol. He grabbed me and yanked me behind him protectively while looking around to check if anyone else was around.

"Kira, we need to leave. Now" Domick basically dragged away, his wings were fearful blue, "Who went in there? Why was the door still open?"

I choose to ignore the first question so he wouldn't know, "You won't believe it, but I got the door open. It had turned green." I said excitedly.

Domick stopped and slowly faced me. "Green?"

Now I was even more confused, "Yeah, why?"

Domick suddenly grabbed my face as his wings turned yellow in happiness and kissed me deeply. I melted into him as fireworks exploded my insides.

This was perfect, his wings wrapped around me, lips on mine.

"Kira you-you're amazing."

I was too dazed from his kiss to even acknowledge his words. I touched my tingling lips.

Domick started walking again, this time with his arm around my waist. I let him lead us to wherever we were going me till we reached his car.

"Um, what are we doing?"

Domick looked down at me. His wings were pink and his eyes portrayed the same feeling of desire in them. He crowded me against his car and leaned down closer me.

I giggled, "This kinda reminds me of the library."

"Guess I'll have to leave just as many marks on your neck as then," he whispered into my neck, "You know how much I liked seeing my marks on you? The more you tried to hide them, the more I wanted to put on you." Domick started to slowly rub his stubble on my neck as if to mark me while he whispered.

I whimpered when he nibbled on my ear then his lips fell onto my neck.

"Hey!"

Domick had leaned back after leaving a light bruise and was going in for another kiss when we heard the familiar voice.

"Hey! Kira! Why did you leave school? I know you not sick! You're never sick."

Seth, you're supposed to help your friend get a guy, not interrupt when getting said guy.

I softly pushed at Domick to move him back as he cussed up a storm in a whisper. Curse words that were mostly aimed at my best friend.

When Seth was finally close enough to see the position we were in, he had the grace to look apologetic, "Oh, sorry. I thought you guys were just hugging or something. Heh." He rubbed his neck in embarrassed.

Man, this ended like at the library too.

Domick had possessively surrounded me again, I fought my way out and stepped closer to Seth.

"It's alright, we were just heading home, right Domick?" I shot an encouraging glance towards him.

He incomprehensibly mumbled while glaring at Seth.

"Well when I saw you had skipped school," Seth playfully glared down at me. "I knew you had to have a good reason to. So you can tell me over a cup at my favorite place, the Creamy Cafe!"

Crap, what excuse can I give him that believable.

I glanced at Domick for help but just saw his green wings and glaring towards Seth. He was of no help.
