Arc 1 chapter 9 : From the eyes who watch the boy

After I'm done healed Farah and Adam broken mind, all four of us finally went out for lunch

Where I chose to just sat besides Dani and watched him eat

I'm not hungry, but I did ordered the most expensive rice meal, just to dry Adam's wallet

Plus I can looked at Dani's cute face whenever he slurped those ramen

But still, why ramen? If he eat those monthly I can still tolerate it, but almost daily??

"Huff. . . Dani, can you eat something healthy for once? "

I looked at him softly while he just eat those ramen.

I know he did order that on purpose to make Adam wallet dried but still. . .

He then turned his head to me after he swallowed those ramen

". . . I think I eat healthy enough, this ramen got vegetables " He answered me calmly

"That's not-. . . Gosh, Dani, eat something healthy for once"

This insufferable idiot is really a trouble.

But I don't mind, he's my trouble after all.

Ha, how peaceful

This lunch moment should had being a nice, peaceful lunch with them

Except for one person, who's now sulking while he leaned his head on his fist

"Huff. . . Just let him eat those ramen" Adam told me in while mocking Dani

"You still mad about this ramen? Thought you already move on" Dani calmly asked him liked nothing's wrong

"I was hoping that Suraya is the one who makes my wallet empty, didn't know that you betrayed me as well"

Farah and I just laughed at Adam dramatic scene before I decided to focused back on Dani and asked him about the ramen

"By the way, how's your ramen? " I looked at him softly

". . . I don't like the cabbage, this cabbage color look faded and depressed. It makes me thought that I just look at myself for a second"

"Should I make it look more refreshed with my spell? I can do that" I offered him with my Sakura smile that's just for him

"It's fine, you don't need to do anything about i-"

"Or should I just cast small spell at the chef for even give cabbage that mirror yourself?"

"Definitely not that as well"

"Hehe, Alright, but don't blame me if you get more depressed ok? " I teased him softly

". . . My life is already bad enough, this is nothing "

I grabbed his left hand while stared at his eyes deeply

In that moment, I swore that Dani almost make a tiny smile before he exhaled and made calm expression

Perhaps he's shy, or it just his subconscious act

Either way, I'm glad I could made him feel better

"Oh, anything is it bestie~? Then if it about Frost Diamond? " Farah tease me while put her fingers on her smug smile

"Trap him in oblivion? Seriously?? " Adam raised his head and looked at us in disbelief

"Suraya, if anything. . . That's too fucking merciful! Just let me do it, I will make sure he's trap in time paradox" Adam gave his suggestion excitedly

"Heh, thought you gone soft on that prick for a moment " Farah teased him

". . . Since when you can trap people in time paradox? Last time I check your speed isn't that fast to warp time" Dani asked in his usual deadpan tone

"Easy, I'll just ask Suraya to cast spell at me to enhance my speed, you help won't you? "

"100% percent I will, you have my support"

"Nah, too much work guys. Just let me yeet him to the moon. I bet he couldn't survive in space longer than 5 minutes" Farah chime in calmly

Farah plan actually will be great since it wouldn't required too much work, if it wasn't for his brilliant mind

"It will be great if it wasn't the fact he had too many contingencies plan. Remember last time someone try to snipe him from afar with their magic? "

"Oh yeah. . . That guy's head exploded from their own magic bullet. . . Tck, bastard has his armor tech with him all the time" Farah crossed her arms while pissed off at him

". . . Huff, just don't trouble yourself. "

"Hmm, what you mean by that? " Adam asked him

"I. . . Would hate to see you guys at hospital. I don't want to visit you guys if you injure or something"

". . . Can you not be a fucking tsundere for a while and just be honest with us? " Adam just looked at him as if he restrained himself from slapping his head

"I'm not a tsundere. I just care"

"That's obviously the same thing! " Farah shouted at him frustrated for Dani's denial

"No, cause I say so"

I just looked at him and laughed before I notice his lips is dirty with ramen soup on it

I then wiped his lips calmly while looked at him with my usual smile

". . . What are you doing? " Dani ask me obliviously at my act

"You look smudge, so I just making sure you had clean face"

He looked at me for a while before wiped rice at my cheek

Which surprised me for a while that he acted romantic on me as if this was just a casual act

"You're the one who should look clean. People might make a meme at your dirty face"

". . . Thanks" I said softly with my Sakura smile

"No problem "

"Gosh. . . Didn't I tell you both to not make me feel more single? " Adam softly murmured to himself, probably still traumatized from my act

But right now, I didn't heard or saw anyone. Except him

The boy who's too ignorant about everything

The same boy who didn't know how to expressed himself

But knows how to show his care in his own subtle way

That gesture where he cleaned my face. . .

. . . I know he cares deeply about me

"Next time, eat more veggie ok? "
