Chapter Twenty Two

Out of all the recent events. Someone has not had enough. Allison Parker.

So the next day. She finds John Jackson. Beside his locker. And grabs him. Puts her body closer to his. For she wants to draw him in. To kiss him.

And Amber sees it. As she moves closer to them. So she draws back. To watch from a distance.

"What do you want from me?" The worst of them all. John Jackson asks. And in his voice. Is a seriousness. One which. Most can't take. The meanest of them all. Allison Parker leans in. To make her lips. Meet his.

But he. He strongly pushes away.

And in frustration. To the meanest of them all. She says. "I want you to stay away from her."

In his anger. John Jackson turns to her. The meanest of them all. And chokes her with his hand. Slamming his locker shut with her back.

"The day you do that will be the darkest day of all your days!" He says.

There is something in him. His voice shakes the meanest of them all. She sees the danger in his eyes. She sees that he means it. And she gives in. And he lets her go.

Then he turns to the school. On top of his voice. And his confidence. He says. "And anyone else! Who dares treat Amber less Human. I'll deal with you myself!"

He is the most feared. The worst of them all. So in turn. They all hear him. And Amber William. Runs to him. Her heart melting. Her eyes misting.

She has never felt this special. And she hugs him. Tighter than she has hugged. Anyone before. Her heart belongs to him. Her tears won't listen to her.

And in his grab she feels protected. As she cries on his shoulder.
