“What? Queenie? What happened to her?”

When Chris heard Queenie’s name, he felt his mind explode, and a sense of dread filled his heart.

Observing the limited number of family members present, Alfred asked, “What happened today? Where is everyone?”

Afraid of being questioned by her father-in-law, Dana quickly covered up, saying, “Alfred, Chris went to handle Warda’s case. Queenie went to the hospital to accompany Carol. Let’s start eating. We don’t have to wait for them!”

At that moment, Cecelia helped Anisa Quinsey in a wheelchair and arrived at the dining room. She said, “Alfred, I invited fourth great aunt to have breakfast with you!”

Seeing Anisa coming in her wheelchair, he quickly instructed someone to pull away a chair beside him, to make space for Anisa’s wheelchair. “Benson isn’t coming?” he asked.

“He had something to do. He won’t come,” Anisa replied.

Anisa moved as if she was about to leave, but Alfred held onto her wheelchair and said, “It has nothing to do with you. Warda is in trouble now. Chris goes to handle it. And Queenie went to the hospital to visit Carol.”

“I was thinking that I should go visit Carol after breakfast. Oh well, but why did I hear in the news that Queenie got arrested?”

Anisa deliberately brought it up.

Alfred was shocked, “What are you saying?”

Dana quickly changed the subject and replied, “Alfred, don’t listen to the nonsense. Queenie is fine.

How could she be arrested?”

Alfred glanced at Dana and Mariah, seeing that both of them didn’t look good and had evasive eyes.
