Chapter 5 Her Biological Child As Cecelia approached, she felt worse and worse. She knew the feeling of heartache wouldnât deceive her.
She was sure that the boy was her son, her biological son.
âOops! The dumb bastard is bleeding.â
âLetâs go!â
The two boys who had bullied the little body intended to run away. Cecelia stopped them and said coldly, âStop!â
The two chubby boys were stunned and looked at Cecelia in surprise. One of them raised his head and shouted, âWho are you? Why do you call us?â
âHow could you bully him?â Cecelia snapped, pointing at the child lying on the ground.â
âWe didnât bully him.â The two chubby boys denied it.
âI saw it with my own eyes. How can you still deny it? Look at the mud on his body and face. Heâs even having a nosebleed. Are you sure you didnât?â
Cecelia grabbed the ears of the two chubby boys and asked them to turn around to look at the child on the ground.
Andres got up from the ground and looked up at the unfamiliar woman with curiosity in his big eyes.
The sudden appearance of the woman made him forget his anger and grievance.
The two chubby boys both screamed in pain. Cecelia snapped, âApologize to him! Do you hear me?â
The chubby boys tried to break free and refused to apologize. âI just donât want to apologize. What can you do to me?â
âYes! Who do you think you are? Mind your own business!â
Cecelia was furious when she realized that the two chubby boys didnât feel guilty at all after doing something evil. She raised her hand and slapped them across the faces.
The two chubby boys were used to fooling around recklessly. After being slapped, they were first stunned and then burst into tears. âDonât cry! Do you hear me? Apologize to him, or Iâll beat you up!â
Under the threat of Cecelia, the two chubby boys had to apologize to the little boy on the ground. âIâm sorry.â
Chapter 5 Her Biological Child Andres blinked in confusion, even more curious.
He wondered, âWhoâs this lady? Why does she help me?â
The chubby boys wanted to run away, but Cecelia grabbed them by their collars and warned, âListen carefully! Donât bully him anymore! Besides, he isnât a child without a mother. If you dare to call him a dumb bastard again, I swear Iâll beat you up.â
The two chubby boys were so frightened that they didnât dare to utter anything. After Cecelia let go of them, they cried and ran away.
Cecelia turned to look at the little boy on the ground. She felt really sorry for him, and tears welled up in her eyes.
This was her son.
He was almost five years old, but he had never enjoyed maternal love even for a single day.
At that thought, Ceceliaâs heart ached even more.
It was true that a child without a mother was like a piece of grass.
Even if the little boy grew up in a rich family, he was still bullied by others. Moreover, his father could not protect him now.
Cecelia finally found her son, but she didnât know how to tell him that she was his mother. Afraid of frightening her son, she didnât tell him the truth directly.
She squatted down, held back her tears, and asked, âAre you Andres? Does it hurt? Shall I help you wipe your face?â
Cecelia took out a handkerchief to wipe the blood off the boyâs nose, but the little boy frowned with cold eyes. He shook off her hand to prevent her from touching him.
Then he wiped his face with his sleeve, raised his chin, and looked at her stubbornly. It seemed as if he was saying he was a man and it was no big deal to bleed.
Seeing that he was so tough at such a young age, Cecelia felt event more sorry for him.
With tears in her eyes, she praised him with a smile. âAndres, your were really brave just now. Good job! Impressive!â
Cecelia gave her a thumbs up, but Andres didnât accept her kindness. He gave her a cold glance, walked past her, and left.
Andres was a loner who didnât want to deal with others. Although Cecelia had helped him out of kindness, he still had no intention of talking to her.
During just a few minutes. Cecelia realized that her son was a cold 435 14:49 Chapter 5 Her Biological Child and arrogant man like his badâtempered father.
Cecelia caught up with him and said, âAndres, Iâm here for you. Donât you want to know who I am?â
Andres tilted his head and glanced at her. He walked even faster, as if he misunderstood that she was a human trafficker.
Looking at the back of the stubborn little boy, Cecelia sighed with resignation and shouted, âAndres, does everyone say youâre a bastard?â
Hearing this, Andres stopped. When he turned around, his eyes were full of anger.
Ceceliaâs words touched a raw nerve in him.
Like an infuriated little tiger, Andres dashed toward Cecelia and hit her on the leg.
If he could speak, he would definitely tell her that he hated those who called him a bastard without a mother the most.
âIâm not a bastard,â yelled the boy inwardly.
Cecelia stepped back two steps after being hind. When she regained balance, she held his wrist, lowered her head, and said, âI donât mean to hurt you. I just want to tell you that you are not a bastard.
You have à mother.â
âHmph!â
Andres snorted and glared at her. He knew he had a mother, but he didnât know where she was.
âIâm just your mother. You are my son. Iâm back. Let me will protect you from now on, okay?â said Cecelia.
Andres was taken aback for a long while after hearing Ceceliaâs words. He stared at her with his big pearlâlike eyes, as if he wanted to see into her mind.
He couldnât believe it and wondered if she was really his mother.
He looked at her suspiciously over and over again, feeling shocked, skeptical, sad, and then resentful.
Because his mother wasnât around, Andres was often bullied by his cousins, and his classmates often laughed at him. Even the adults secretly discussed that Andres was picked up somewhere by his father because he had been abandoned by his mother.
Andres hated his mother because she had abandoned him.
But he also wished to have a mother and had been hoping that his mother would come back to him one day.
Chapter 5 Her Biological Child But now, when this beautiful woman told him that she was his mother, he couldnât believe it at all.
Andres had never cried before, but tears welled up in his eyes at the moment. In the end, he pushed her and ran away while crying.
âAndres! Andres!â
Cecelia chased after him and finally found him in a rockery in the garden.
He was huddling up in a small cave with his arms around his knees, refusing to go out. Tears streamed down, mixing with the blood from his nose.
Ceceliaâs heart ached. Her son was like a hedgehog in front of others, but when there was no one around, he hid alone like an injured little beast.
âAndres, Iâm sorry. I should have come back earlier to you. I just had no choice but to leave you to your father after I gave birth to you back then. Trust me! Iâve never abandoned you. Andres, I really miss you. Iâve often dreamed of you over the years. I miss you every day.
just came back here for you. From now on. I wonât leave you anymore.
Tears streamed down Ceceliaâs cheeks. She looked at the poor boy expectantly and said, âSweetheart, come over here, please!â
