Chapter 8: The party, the kiss, and the fight

Adora's pov

"Alright everybody in the car" I yell at everyone. I hear a mix of laughter and woohoo's as they all get into the car. I get into the driver's seat. Everyone was making small talk when I heard my phone buzz. I read the message and said "Mermista, Sea Hawk, Frosta,Netossa and Spinnerella are already there" I hear everyone murmur an "okay" before they returned back to what they were talking about before. We arrived at DT's house and I parked the car. We all got out and went to the door. I knocked and DT opened the door and said "come on in". We went in and everyone I knew was there and they were drinking like it was the end of the world. I looked around and saw a very drunk Sea Hawk saying "I set the trash can in fire for you my dearest Mermista." We could see Mermista groaning and facepalming herself. "Adora LOOK" Glimmer yells as she points towards a circle of people chanting "Drink drink drink". I got closer to the table only to see Catra and Rachel in a shot drink contest. Catra won while Rachel still had 3 shots left. "I just can't beat you roday I lost at lst tree vines already". I laughed at her slurred words but soon stopped when Catra said "deal with it sweetheart". I almost cried when she said that because I thought they might be more than friends. I went to a table where the drinks were and grabbed two. I found Glimmer and Bow and stood by them. "You okay Adora" Bow asks. "yeah just peachy" I tell them. " You sure because you're double fisting". "Bows right what's wrong Adora" I sigh "I heard Catra call Rachel sweetheart" I tell them, feeling tears in my eyes. Glimmer and Bow give each other a worried glance before Mermista comes up to us and says "I need Sea Hawk to shut up and stop setting things on fire, got any ideas?" Glimmer smiles and whisper something in Bow and Mermista's ear and they smile to. Mermista ran around the room with Bow while Glimmer dragged me and DT down stairs. Soon after Bow came down with Mermista, Scorpia, Entrapta, Perfuma, Frosta, Sea Hawk, Kyle, Rogelio, Lonnie, Catra, and RACHEL oh nonononono. Bow stood up and yelled "get in a circle we are playing truth or dare." Bow sat down along with everyone else and the game began.

Catra's pov

So Crop top came over to me and said that we were going to play truth or dare and dragged me, Lonnie, and Rachel downstairs where I saw Perfuma, Mermista, Frosta, Sparkles, Loud fire starter,Kyle, Rogelio,Scorpia, Entrapta, and Adora. When I saw everyone and saw that they were all drunk except Scorpia because she dosen't drink, I knew this was going to be a fun night.

Bows pov

I told everyone that we were going to play truth or dare and then started the game. "Glimmer truth or dare" I ask her. "Truth" She says. "Do you have a crush". She blushes and says "Yeah actually it's you". I blush and say "Aw I like you to" and move to sit next to her. Glimmer thinks for a second and then says "Kyle truth or dare". "U-Um truth" he says. "Alright who is the cutest person here." Glimmer asks. He let out a sigh and said "That's easy my boyfriend Rogelio". Everyone's mouths dropped open except for Lonnie, Kyle, Rogelio, Rachel, and Catra who just smiled and laughed at our reactions.

Rachels pov

Kyle just told everyone that he and Rogelio were dating and everyone who did know all ready mouths dropped. We laughed and then Kyle said "Rachel truth or dare". I smiled and said "dare". Catra sighed and said "Finally soneon in't being a frick'n chick'n, this is why your my BESSST friend." I laughed and said "Yeah yous my besst friendd" my words kinda slurred. Kyle smiled and said "I dare you to sing a song" he pointed to the karaoke machine. I knew the perfect song already. I went up to the machine and looked for the song, our song and hit play. When the music started Catra jumped up and said "HELLS YES RACHEL IT'S OUR SONG I AM JOININGS YOU". She came up grabbed a mic and said " Lets DO THIS!" Everyone looked confused but instantly new what we were singing when Catra started singing.

Adora's pov

Catra had jumped up to sing with Rachel who I was already mad at because they called each other best friends so I was jealous and angry. Catra started singing.

Rachel got closer to Catra so that their backs were touching, making me furious. They looked at eachother, smiled, and started singing together.

Rachel sounded okay as much as hated to admit it she was better than me but not Catra.

I know it was just a song but them saying I want your love towards each other made me even more mad, jealous, and sad. I wanted to get up and leave but that would be rude. Glimmer and Bow must have noticed I was upset because they gave me the ' you okay?' look. I nodded my head from side to side to let them know I was not okay. I turned my attention back to the performance.

Everyone except me was laughing. I was on the verge of tears and of punching Rachel in the face. I wanted Catra more than she ever could and I may have not grown up with Catra like she did but I felt like I deserved her more than she did. I looked at Bow and Glimmer and gave them the ' ima bouta start a drunk fist fight look' and they shook their heads rapidly from side to side. Glimmer mouthed 'why would you want to punch her'. Bow 'mouthed she didn't do anything'. I sighed and mouthed 'Okay'. I looked back to them singing.

Catra and Rachel had turned to face each other and Rachel leaned in towards Catra and KISSED HER. I gasped in horror because she did do something and I was not about to let that purple haired bitch get away with it. I looked around at everyone else and they were all shocked, even Catra. Glimmer and Bow looked at me with scared faces hoping I wouldn't punch her but I was done listening to them. Rachel ran upstairs and Catra followed suit. Then Scorpia chased after her and I was confused but ran after her with Glimmer, Bow, Lonnie, and DT right behind me.

Catra's pov

Me and Rachel were singing Bad Romance by Lady Gaga when she KISSED ME ON THE LIPS. she had kissed me on the cheek before but I thought that was just her teasing me as a best friend. I pulled back quick and had a look of shock on my face. She looked shocked but then she looked scared and in pain. She ran away and I chased after her. I could hear people chasing after us but I didn't care. I wanted to talk to Rachel. She ran out the front door as did I. I tackled her before she could get to her car and said "Wait". "Why don't you like me back so why would you want to talk to me?" She asked while she was crying. I gave her a weak smile and said "because I need to know why you did it". I let go of her and she sat up still crying and said "b-because I love you" I heard gasps from behind us and saw Scorpia, DT, and Lonnie standing behind us. I looked at her and stood up and said "I'm sorry that I always have to be the heartbreaker" I hear Rachel and Lonnie laugh. Lonnie comes closer to us and says "Geez catra you are just a heart breaker aren't you. First you reject me and now Rachel. All three of us laugh weakly as I say "Well I just didn't have a crush on you two". Rachel is still crying as she says "Do you have a crush on somebody now". Scorpia runs up to me and says "Before you answer that I have a crush on you Catra I have since I laid eyes one you." I start crying as I say " Rachel, Lonnie, Scorpia I don't return any of your feelings and I probably never will never will. Scorpia starts crying as Lonnie says " That's fine by me I don't like you anymore as a matter of fact i have a girlfriend now" I look at Lonnie shocked, smile and say "Really that's great i am so happy for you". I turn to Scorpia and Rachel " we can still be friends right guys" they both looked shocked but say "Yeah of course" I smile and say "good". I hug Scorpia who hugs back but almost kills me. Eventually she lets me go and I catch my breath. I hear a body hit the floor and turn around to see Rachel on the floor and Adora standing over her with Sparkles and Crop top trying their best to hold her back.

Adora pov

Glimmer and Bow are trying their best to hold me back and stop me from leaving the house. DT ran out of the house before me and was out of my sight. I eventually got Glimmer and Bow off of me and ran for the door. I went outside to see Catra hugging Scorpia and Rachel crying but smiling at Catra. I kept seeing that purple haired bitch kiss Catra and my anger consumed me. Before I knew what I was doing Rachel was on the floor, Catra was looking at me shocked and Glimmer and Bow were trying to hold me back again. Rachel stood up with blood coming out of her nose and punched me in the face. Glimmer and Bow let go as if they were telling me to go for it. Scorpia yelled "Stop guys please". I yelled "No freaking way this bitch kissed MY kitten and for that she will pay". Everyone else had come outside and Mermista yelled "Adora your drunk go home". "Not until I beat her ass" I yell back. I hear her say "Ugh I tried guys". I could also hear Frosta yelling "ADORA ADORA ADORA" while Netossa said " Get your girl and beat her ass". Spinnerella yelled "NO Don't." I then heard DT yell "DDDRRRAAAAMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAA".

Glimmers pov

DT yelled "DDDRRRAAAAMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAA" and Sea Hawk was screaming because he had put a cloth in a Bacardi 151 and set it on fire. When he threw it, it exploded and set the neighbor's car on fire causing it to explode as well. Adora went to punch Rachel again but in the blink of an eye they both hit the ground with a thud. Catra was standing over them crying and said "Don't fight over me I don't deserve it just like I don't deserve to be loved"

HEHE I had really fun writing this chapter and I hope you had fun reading it and yes Sea Hawk causing chaos was necessary. and yes Sea Hawk causing chaos was necessary.Sorry but Bad Romance was the only song I could think of to make Adora jealous and give Rachel enough confidence to make her move.
