09- "Roach boy"

Bella's POV

"What are you laughing about?" I asked Spencer,  who was laughing at something on his phone.

"Nothing that concerns you" Ashton said.

"I wasn't talking to you," I said, giving him my best death stare.

"This" Spencer said pointing the phone towards me.

I took it from his hand and watched the video,  it was the video of Jessie pouring coffee on her head,  it was posted on Instagram and it had two hundred thousand views and six thousand likes.

I gasped,  feeling guilty

This is all my fault, she's disgraced on the internet because of me, no wonder she didn't show up at work this morning.

"Who posted this video?" I asked,  when  I find the person I'll kill him and feed him to my dogs.

"Ashton did" Spencer said pointing at Ashton who was beside him.

"Why would you do that?" I asked, angry.

"It's funny" He laughed.

"She's gonna feel bad,  everyone on the internet is gonna see her being humiliated, because of you" I said poking his chest.

"I care less," He said, walking away.

"And you," I said, pointing at Spencer.

"What?" He asked innocently.

"You have to find a way to take it down" I said,  and walked away.

I quickly rushed back to the counter, picked up my phone and called Jessie.  But she didn't pick my call.

So I decided to call her after work instead.

...

"Hey" Matt said waving his hand in front of my face.

"I'm so tired!" I groaned.  "You're always tired," He said, raising his eyebrows.

"Do you have any idea on how I can prank Ashton?" I asked.

"No?  Why'd you wanna prank Ashton?" He asked puzzled.

"He did something bad to my friend so I want to give him  a piece of mind" I said.

"Well, I know he's terrified of cockroaches, you can prank him with that" Matt shrugged.

"That's a good idea, how'd you know that?" I asked.

"He used to date my cousin" Matt said,  his facial expression suddenly changed,  he looked sad.

"He broke her heart?" I asked.

"No,  not exactly" He said.

"Ok,  so how are we going to do this?" I said,  deciding not to continue with the conversation.

"You put a cockroach on the cash register, and you're going to pretend to pay for a drink,  and he'll scream when he sees the cockroach, I'll be filming from the corner" He said.

"That's a great plan, but how are we going to put the cockroach there if he's always there?"

"Humm... You're right I'll have to figure that out soon"

...

I watched Matt pretending to start a conversation with Ashton,  while sneaking the cockroach on the cash register. I watched his every move until he signaled for me to buy the drink.

I walked to where Ashton was.

"I bought  an ice blended cappuccino with extra whipped cream and caramel sauce,  it cost fifty dollars" I said,  handing him my money.

He opened the cash register to put the money in, yes it happening!

In less than a second Ashton screamed like a five year old.

I laughed so hard,  and looked over to Matt who smiled at me.

Yes!  He got the video!

"You" He said pointing at me, a wide grin appeared on my face.

"You did this, how?" He asked.

"I asked your girlfriend" I said,  and walked away with a victoriously smile on my face.

I managed to make you scared Ashton Kutcher.

I walked to  the staff room where Matt was.  "Let me see the video" I said sitting beside him.

I watched the video, and laughed one more time at the video.

"Now all we have to do is post it"

"Yes" I said with an evil smirk on my face.

...

I lay on my bed thinking about: my friends,  job and Adrian..

I haven't talked to him in almost three weeks,  and he's not bothering to call me at all, soon I will be going to university in New York.  We wouldn't have time for each other that much.

I sighed and got up from my white comfortable bed,  inhaling the smell of strawberries.

I walked to my vanity table,  taking out my laptop from my drawer.  I looked at it, I need to get a Macbook air before leaving for New York,  better still before starting university officially.

Come to think of it,  I'm really gonna miss my family and friends,  I'll only be seeing Liana in New York, Aubrey will be staying in California. At least I'll have a friend, but I'll very much miss Aubrey.

She's like the mom amongst us,  she thinks things through and is very reliable, and she can cook.

Liana.  Liana's just naturally very crazy and funny, she's also very nice, can also be very evil, always steal my food, but that's why I love her.

I turned on my computer, displeased by its features,  it's a plane white computer,  with dented edges, because I always forget to put it back on my vanity table after doing my assignment, and every time I wake up I kick it and it falls on the floor.

I never remember that it's on my bed.

"Bella, someone's looking for you!" Mason called out.

I walked downstairs to the front door,  I opened it surprised at who I saw.

What the bloody hell is Ashton Kutcher doing at my house?

I slammed the door In his face,  taking some time to laughter at him,  then I opened the door,  and faced him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, staring at the chocolate eyed, handsome, narcissistic jerk before me.

He didn't answer me, instead he barged into my house.  I watched him as he looked around,  study's every corner of the house.

"You haven't answered my question" I said, standing behind his very manly, muscular,  well-built structure, trailing directly behind him.

"You know why. Stonefield" He said,  this is the first time he's ever addressed me by my name,  normally he call me: you Or that girl.

"What?" I asked.

"Take. The. Video. Down" He said with his teeth gritted, he looked like a vampire hungry for blood.

"Not until you take the video of Jessie down" I said challenging him

"That video was hilarious," He said.

"So is this. Roach boy " I addressed him by the name he is now being called on the internet.

"Let's make a deal,  if you take down your video,  I'll take down mine.  Deal?"

"Deal" I said,  with a mischievous smile,  not  because I'm coming up with a new plan,  but because I just bruised his male ego.

Without speaking another word,  he found his way out the door.

"What a guy" I mumbled under my breath.

...

I moved forward three times,  and landed on mall without thinking I decided to buy it, I Haven't had a chance to buy any property since the past seven minutes I've been playing monopoly, somehow Liana seem to have bought almost half the things buy able, and even started upgrading them from house to hotel.

Leaving me and Aubrey with no more than  five properties.

She's such a savage,  I wonder how she's so good at this game, but isn't the slightest bit  good at saving  money or knowing what to spend it on.

Give Liana your credit card,  and your sure lose all your money in less than five hours.

I've been so lost in my thoughts,  I didn't realise Liana had already won.

Which means...

"Pay up girls" She said, stretching her hands towards us.  Yeah that's right,  we bet: whoever wins,  the losers have to pay  fifty dollars each to the winner.  The only reason why this bet was initiated was because we didn't trust that Liana would win.

But that's the thing about Liana, she's beyond your expectations,  she's a very unpredictable girl, and also very inquisitive.

She ruffled her black long hair,  waving the money in front of our faces,  teasingly.

Soon she received a call from whom I'm guessing is her boyfriend.  She excused herself leaving the sitting room of Aubrey's house.

Speaking of Aubrey, it's been a while since I've heard of her dad.

"How's things going with your father?" I asked.

"He's been trying to get to know me,  but he's ten years late" She said laughed.

"Did he take your brother?" I asked.

"No,  but we spend Saturdays with him"

" I'm back~" Liana sang as she walked into the room.

"Who called?" Aubrey asked.

"My boyfriend" Liana grinned.

"When are we meeting him?" I asked.

"He's really busy," She replied.

"With what?" I asked, curious.

"School work,  he's in college" She said.

"What?!" Me and Aubrey said it simultaneously.

"Don't worry,  I'm planning on breaking up with him soon" She said, smiling.

"You're one crazy chick" I said, grabbing a slice of pizza front the pizza box.

I sat on the couch,  and turned on the television

Switching to my Netflix series 'The Originals'

If you haven't guessed I'm obsessed with vampire movies, books and series.  I love reading paranormal and thriller,  one of my favorite book is  'Harry Potter'.

When I was young I wanted to be a magician, but as time went by I realised  it was just a silly dream.

"How are things going between you and Adrian?" Liana asked, grabbing the remote from the table, attempting to change the channel.

"I've told you Liana,  I don't want to talk about it" I said,  taking another bite out of my pizza, and also taking a sip of my Pepsi Max.

"Sorry, I just don't want him to break your heart" She said with concern.

"No one is breaking my heart,  I know I you care about me but you don't have to worry" I said,  stretching my hands to hug her, she wrapped her arms around me hugging me back.  Soon Aubrey joined us.

"I love you all," I said.
