I promise that I love myself,

I promise that I watch myself,

From multiple point of views.

The love I may give myself,

May not be enough.

But it will do.

Even though it may not be much.

It's enough not to give up on me.

Enough to push through.

I may not watch my weight,

And my bones may protrude.

But I promise I love myself,

Enough to eat a meal or two.

I promise that I've slept,

Not as much as you would like,

But I let my head get some rest.

Even for an hour or two.

I promise that I love myself,

I promise that I do.

Even if I fill my lungs with smoke.

It's just something I have to do.

To keep me sane.

My brain goes insane,

If I let my hurt run through.
