Chapter 142 âNo! Give me back my ring!â
âThen youâve chosen the second option. Give us a good time, and we can give you the ring back.â
Oliviaâs face paled instantly. She bit her lips, looked at the three, and clasped her arms around her chest. âDonât come over!â
However, the drunks did not seem bothered. âNo one will save you even if you scream your lungs out!â
âGive me the ring!
âYou chose the ring!â
With that, the man in charge threw Olivia straight up against the wall and reached for her dress. âDonât move!â
Olivia reached out to push the man, only to be slapped against the wall and her clothes ripped off. Her crying and pleading seemed to make the man more excited and move greater.
Suddenly, a figure rushed up and kicked the man off Oliviaâs body.
The other two were startled as they turned to look. They rolled up their sleeves to fight.
âWho is it? How dare you disturb us?â
However, the two were soon dealt with a punch. They got up from the ground to run away.
Oliviaâs sight was hazy. She only smelled a familiar smell as she fell into a manâs arms.
Suddenly, she thought of something, pushed the man away, and ran after the three drunks, crying and shouting, âGive me back my ring! Give it back!â
However, the three had long since disappeared. She cried and begged. âDonât leave. Give me back my ring! Give it back...
Okay?â
John hugged her with a frown, displeased. âOlivia, are you so short of men? Do you want them back after they ran away?â
âGive me back my ring...â
âWhat ring? Olivia, how cheap are you going to get?â
Olivia was so confused that she did not recognize Johnâs voice. She kept muttering,â Give it back...â
John leaned over, picked her up in his arms, and threw her coldly into the car. Then he said to Wes, âCatch those three drunks!â.
âYes.â
John then got into the driverâs seat and drove back to Cliffside Villa, where he called his private doctor to check on Oliviaâs injuries.
âWell?â
âMr. Freeman, it appears that Madam was slapped in the face, resulting in a blow to the head, which caused a temporary loss of vision and fainting. She only needed to rest for a while. If she has any other problems, weâll need to give her an X-ray to see if she has a concussion.â
âAnything else?â
âNo, Iâll give Madam some IV drips. Sir, shall I apply the ointment on the wound on the head, or are you going to do it?â
John glanced at Olivia, who was unconscious in bed. His thin lips said, âIâll do it.â
âAlright.â
The doctor gave Olivia the IV drip and left.
John sat by the bed and watched her with mixed feelings.
He applied the ointment to Oliviaâs forehead and whispered, âOlivia, why are you so. stubborn? Was it the ring the man gave you?â
âThe ring! Give me back my ring! Itâs important...â
Olivia began to cry again, and the tears rolled down the corner of her eye and onto Johnâs hand.
The warm tears made Johnâs heart skip a beat.
âWho is she crying for?
âWho is the man in the photo?â
The more John thought about it, the more annoyed he became. He suddenly got up, rolled his sleeves, and walked out.
As soon as he left, Olivia grabbed the bed sheet with both hands and cried, âJohnny designed it himself. Give it back to me, okay?â
Unfortunately, John did not hear that.
