Chapter 45 âBetter than me in every way?â
John was furious as a chilling aura exuded from his body. His deep eyes stared sinisterly at the woman in bed.
He wanted to have a peaceful conversation with her, but she refused.
He leaned over and bit her neck. âOkay, Olivia. You made me do this!â
As he reached out his hand to do more, the woman beneath him asked out of the blue.
âJohn, arenât you disgusted when youâre so convinced that many men have touched me?â
John confused her.
He called her cheap, unwilling to believe that she did not cheat on him. At the same time, he touched her without feeling disgusted. Why?
Johnâs hand froze instantly. He grabbed her jaw and sneered. âYouâre right. Iâm disgusted with you!â
Oliviaâs heart pricked with pain. She swallowed her grief, licked her dry lips, and forced a smile.
She seemed to be smiling bitterly and also laughing at herself. âAre you going to continue?â
John saw her smile and suddenly felt bitter. He found it irritating no matter what.
He snapped, âOlivia, youâre really cheap! Is this how you seduce others?â
âIâm cheap?â
Olivia was numb with heartache. She only wanted to provoke him. âWhatever you say!â
For some reason, she suddenly enjoyed watching John get angry.
She even wished he would just kill her too.
He could kill her, and she would be free.
She was tired and did not want to explain.
Her attitude irritated John, who had a short temper.
Olivia started going all out too.
âJohn, you son of a b*tch! Canât you go home to Dorothy?
âSheâs going crazy for the title of Mrs. Freeman! The whole world knows what she wants. Why do you pretend not to know?
âYou know how desperate she is for this position! She even killed Uncle Wallace. And now she wants to kill me!
âWhy didnât you give it to her? Why do you have to torture me?
âYou son of a b*tch!â
Johnâs expression turned cold. His tone was indifferent but threatening.
âOlivia, I advise you to be good. Or Iâll take your brotherâs arm off and cripple him afterward!â
âBrother...â
Oliviaâs heart sank. She forgot she had a brother to take care of. She could not die yet.
All she had left was her brother.
Looking at Johnâs back, Olivia instantly sat up and shouted, âJohn, you b*stard!â
John did not stop or look back. âOlivia, keep yelling. See whatâs left of your brother.â
Olivia instantly shut up and watched John leave the room through gritted teeth.
For some reason, John was in a good mood. Olivia looked like a hedgehog, much more attractive than the woman who would only cry and beg.
Wes glanced at John and shook his head.
âSir still loves Madam, but why does he deny it?â
Suddenly, John asked, âWhat else did you find at the fire? Is there any man?â
