Chapter 649 Olivia did not get up early, so it was already 8 AM when she got to the hospital.
She was worried that Zac was hungry, so she quickened her pace as soon as she got out of the elevator.
As soon as she pushed the door open, she saw a familiar figure sitting beside Zacâs bed, peeling an apple for him.
When Olivia got closer and got a good look at the man, she did a double-take.
âWhat is she doing here?â
Zac noticed Olivia and was slightly surprised. âItâs only 8 AM. Why are you here so early?â
âI was afraid you were hungry. You...â
Olivia looked down and saw the empty food container on the table. It seemed he had already eaten.
Therefore, she shook her head. âItâs okay. Iâll leave this here for you to eat at noon.â
Before Zac could explain, the woman stood up, handed Zac the apple, and smiled at her. âZac had already taken his breakfast.
Youâre late, and Iâve prepared his lunch. You can eat with us if you donât mind.â
Olivia glanced at her before asking quietly, âDoes Ken know youâre here?â
âOf course, why wouldnât he know?â
With that said, she patted Zac on the arm. âZac and I grew up together. Shouldnât I visit him?â
âThey grew up together?
âWhy hasnât Zac mentioned it before?â
However, she tried being respectful to her in front of Zac. She only nodded indifferently. âGot it. You guys can chat.â
Unexpectedly, the woman stopped her. âAre you Zacâs bride?â
âYes.â
The woman looked her up and down. âHave you been lacking rest lately? Your skin seems a little bad, and you have dark circles under your eyes. You probably need a lot of concealer.â
With that said, she smiled, âBut itâs okay. I have a friend who is good at makeup. Iâm sure she can help you.
âNo thanks. I donât think Iâll get along with your friend.â
âOh, why do you say that? Youâre Zacâs bride, so youâre considered my sister-in-law. Iâm sure weâll be seeing each other more.â
Olivia gazed coldly at her. She smiled politely but did not answer.
Seeing that something was wrong, Zac quickly said, âKate, youâre scaring my wife.â
The woman looked back and stuck out her tongue. âZac, you dote so much on your wife. I wish I could find a husband like you someday.â
âYour brother will find one for you.â
âHey!â The woman ran over to Zac and said with a smile, âZac, why donât you consider me? Iâm good too.â
Zac could not tell what she said but did not want her to get too close, so he pushed her away. âYouâre pressing my IV.â
âIâm sorry. I... I didnât mean it.â
The womanâs voice was coquettish and looked as if a soft light was all over her. She looked nothing like the person Olivia had seen that day in the cemetery.
Olivia did not know what the woman wanted, but she was up to no good.
After all, there was no way she was a good person when she said something like that in front of Zylaâs grave.
Besides, she was friends with Dorothy, which confirmed her speculation.
Just then, Ken pushed the door open and walked in. He nodded to Olivia when he saw her. âYouâre here.â
âYeah.â
Olivia nodded in reply, pointed to the woman, and said to Ken, âSheâs the woman I met at the cemetery the other day.â
