Heaven help us
"For the last time, you cannot use that without blasting them out of this universe!" Shoko just lost her cool while talking to Gojo. It's been a few days and they were still trying to figure out how to operate the cursed compass, or rather, which technique can operate it.
They were smart, Uruha was the perfect host for this object, his technique allowed him to operate it using mist and his environment.
Gojo's limited void on the other hand couldn't operate it without breaking the compass, or destroying the ship and everyone in it.
Shizue, just arrived in Tokyo yesterday and hasn't showed up since after the exchange event. Plus, her blood technique was mostly focused on assault so Hanji ruled it out.
They were currently at the ship, and while the adults were busy arguing-
"Come on Nobara-chan please!" Mikasa sighed as she watched Sasha beg the orange haired girl, shaking her back and forth.
Nobara let out an exasperated breath, how could she even say no to her? She was too cute. "Alright, alright, I'll get you to see Shizue-sensei."
"Yay!" Sasha immediately dove into her arms.
"But if she gets mad, I'm blaming you."
"Noted!"
Nobara looked at the brunette weirdly then back to the raven haired girl. Lifting herself up, she went and sat on the wooden crate. "Okay so I'm curious. Why didn't you just get Captain Levi to take you there? He's been there couple of times, he knows what train to take."
Mikasa and Sasha looked at each other in unison. "Well..."
"They sort of broke up." A solemn voice spoke behind her.
"AH!" Pieck caught Nobara before she could completely fell off the crate. The ravenette then sat beside her calmly.
"WOAH-WAIT." Nobara just realized what she had said. "Captain Levi and Shizue-sensei were together?!"
"Keep your voices down." A concerned fellow woman said. Annie looks at Levi and the other adults on the other side of the ship, it seemed that they haven't heard them which is a good sign. "And yes, they were together. Armin said so,"
It was quite new for them to see this side of Annie, it was really funny considering she always looked so serious all the time.
"They used to be." Mikasa clarified. "A lot of things happened since then."
"What did? I heard they took down a special grade sorcerer together, damn what a dream couple." Itadori squished himself beside Nobara.
"I wish they were my parents."
"Me too.." Connie chimed in.
"Why does it sound creepy coming from you?" Jean said in disgust.
"Ha! Keep dreaming." Nobara mocked Itadori, then suddenly turned her attention back to Pieck. "But what you said. They broke up?"
Pieck shrugged while her eyes didn't change its usual blank gaze. "I was on the way to the bathroom when I heard them arguing. It's not my fault those walls were thin."
Annie knotted her brows at them. "Were they even back together in the first place?"
"Hey stop being so negative." Sasha defended and crossed her arms.
"I'm being a realist." Says Annie in monotone.
Panda just appeared behind Sasha. "Official or not, you can clearly tell they love each other they're just refusing to say it."
"Shake!"
The heated debate was cut immediately when a wooden polearm was tapped on the floorboards...a bit violently. Their eyes all looked at the green haired woman who had a serious look on her face.
"Heads up."
Maki gestured towards the port where three people just walked in. "The third years are here."
"Shake."
Itadori furrowed his brows confused. "Who?"
Fushiguro sighed heavily, clearly displeased with the news. "Shizue-sensei's students."
"Man, this early? I haven't taken a bath yet. Inumaki, do I smell?" Panda asked as he went towards the white haired knowing full-well he's gonna get roasted by the third years.
Inumaki shook his head. "Okaka!"
"Shut up. You stink as well." Maki hissed at him.
This really confused Nobara and Itadori, if there were third years in the Tokyo school, why weren't they at the exchange event?
However, upon seeing the other student sorcerers walk in, made their world stop. Most especially, Reiner.
Three people stood in front of them, two brunettes and one blonde man. Maki suddenly felt a heavy arm around her shoulders only to find a tall brunette beside her with a sly grin.
"Well, if it isn't my favorite kouhai!"
"Hello too.....senpai." Maki didn't return the enthusiasm the girl had.
"Why sound so disappointed Maki? I'm hurt!" Ymir faked a stab in her chest. Beside her was the blonde who had a scowl on his face.
"Is this them? Why's there so many first years geez." Pieck had her eyes fixated on the blonde man, her mouth went slightly agape in shock.
The blonde noticed this, and took advantage of his chance. His scowl immediately disappeared and was replaced with a flirty smile. "Hey pretty woman, how you doin'?"
'It's...porco..! and he's acting weird!' Pieck thought in fright.
"Porco, stop harassing the poor girl." Says Marcel which made him stand back with a scowl. The brunette lightly bowed at her. "Sorry about him."
"Okaka!"
"Right, they aren't all first years. Still pisses me off." Porco bitterly remarked.
"Ah who cares. Let's just beat 'em all up." Ymir smirked with a determined look in her eyes.
"Come on Ymir, Porco, let's not cause a fight. Shizue-sensei just authorized us to get back on the field we shouldn't abuse that." The kind brunette said.
"Marcel!" The man flinched at the voice, he turned to see a certain muscular man who held mixed emotions upon seeing him.
"Hi?" The man laughed a bit. "Sorry, do I know you?"
It was them... the people whom Reiner watched die right before his eyes. The brothers, who gave up their life just to save him. He knew he shouldn't be surprised that they may encounter the other fallen soldiers that died in their world, but seeing them in person really impacted on him.
Annie looked at Reiner and lightly kicked his foot from behind, whispering, "Pull yourself together, Reiner."
The blonde cleared his throat. "Sorry, I just....confused you for someone else I guess."
Porco glared at him. "I'm pretty sure you just said my brother's name, Outlander."
The three of them were just like Shizue-san....they couldn't remember anything.. They all thought as their former comrades continued to harass their underclassmen
Fushiguro sighed in defeat, how hard he wished Shizue was there.
"Hey Porco, shouldn't you be laying-low right now? Your suspension still ain't over you know." Panda spoke, trying to stop the blonde from causing a fight, which their class was famous for.
"Shouldn't you be taking a bath first panda? I can't think straight coz of your smell." Ymir mocked.
"Yeah man, You stink." A lightning just struck Panda straight to the heart.
"You are all being so mean for no reason!" Sasha came forward defending her precious Panda.
"Just because you're alive again doesn't mean you can have a free pass on being rude! Man, Historia would be so disappointed."
Ymir looked at the brunette in front of her, confused. "Alive again?"
'....Historia?'
Mikasa immediately pulled her back and stuffed Sasha's mouth with a piece of bread. "Sorry about that, she hasn't eaten yet."
Marcel, who was the kindest and most reasonable than the two was confused as well. The foreigners from another land was looking at them with an emotion they can't recognize. As if they've met them before. Still, he wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.
The two on the other hand wasn't planning on it.
"You outlanders are acting really suspicious. Who are you really?" Porco walled towards Reiner with a furious glare.
Ymir held the same thought. "I'm getting a weird vibe with all ya'. Tell us now or we'll scratch your eyes right out."
"You guys. We need to help them with the cursed object. We cannot be causing a fight with the foreign people." Marcel tried to reason with the two, Porco and Ymir looked at him in unison and begrudgingly backed off.
"Fine."
"Whatever." Ymir rolled her eyes. "Oi Maki. Where's Shizue-sensei? She here yet?"
"I think she's running late." Says Maki. She was supposed to arrive earlier, even before the third years do. But she still hasn't shown up.
"Fushiguro, can you tell us more about the cursed object?" Marcel asked politely.
After hearing his explanation, the three of them were put to deep thinking. Porco, Marcel, and Ymir were bound together from their birth. They had an enhanced skill when it comes to agility and possessed an abnormal speed.
So being called here in Tokyo has confused them all.
Porco walked towards Fushiguro and snatched his collar. "How are we supposed to operate that compass hah?!"
"The hell you want us to punch and kick the compass 'till it get the energy to blast ya' in to another earth?!"
"Are you even using your heads you morons?!"
Marcel struggled to hold Ymir and Porco from attacking Fushiguro, who on the other hand didn't seem to be fazed at all.
"We don't know what to tell you, but Shizue-sensei was the one who called for you." says Maki. This made the two stand down.
Porco crossed his arms. "Well if Shizue-sensei said it then I guess it makes just sense."
"I agree." Ymir nods continuously.
Marcel was silent for a moment after analyzing the facts. "I don't think our technique is the right tool for this. Kirara might be a potential user of the compass. But knowing them, it can take a while to get them to cooperate. Plus they're out of town right know."
"So what are you saying?" Ymir asked boredly.
Marcel's eyes landed on a certain dark haired man. "I think I might know how to get them back."
Tokyo, 3:34 AM
"Still no news from Shizue?" Levi asked Hanji.
The brunette turned to him with a guilty look. "I've tried calling her, but she must've turned her phone off."
The squad along with Fushiguro and the third years returned to the ship the following day.
"Why do we need to be here at three am? The sun still isn't up yet." Ymir complained.
"You complain too much." Reiner couldn't help but deadpan at her.
"Hah? You wanna die, blondie?!"
"Knock it off, Ymir."
They still hasn't caught sight of the pink haired sorcerer. Even though Sasha went to Shizue 's building yesterday hoping to talk to her, No one answered her door. Levi tried to go there himself, but it seemed as though she wasn't really home. She wasn't at the school either.
"What about Gojo? Has he tried contacting her? And Shoko?" He asked worriedly.
"She blocked Satoru for continuously sending cat memes. Shoko didn't saw her either. Sorry Levi," Hanji says. They hated seeing him like this.
Levi could only sigh in distress. He agreed to her terms, though he was against it, he promised he will leave.
But he didn't want to go without even getting to say goodbye. Levi needed to see her one last time.
Just then a sharp pain struck his heart. It caught him off-guard that he grabbed his chest in pain, Levi could taste the metallic liquid on his tongue.
"Levi!"
"Captain!"
This caused the squad to rush on to him worriedly. "What happened?! Are you okay?" Asked Connie.
The man ignored them as he tried to compose himself. Hanji quickly hands him a handkerchief.
"I'm fine."
"It doesn't look like it."
"Captain, that's been going on for too long. You think we haven't noticed?" Mikasa said sternly.
Levi remained silent. The only people who knew were Gojo, Shoko, and Hanji. And also Shizue, though he didn't know how she found out. But he knew it was for the best, there's no reason to alarm the squad about his condition.

"So, the Galliard siblings are back huh." Shizue ignored the man just appeared behind her and got down from the pile of rubble left by a grade one curse. Gojo let out a sigh and followed.
"Gonna ignore me as well Shizue?" The white-haired man walked beside her.
She was starting to shut everyone out again, and Gojo knew her way of coping wasn't healthy. Shizue was hurting and honestly, he's pretty sure that seeing them could solve all of that. But she chose to ignore her feelings.
Just like what she did when Suguru died.
"They'll be fine without me. With Marcel there you'll probably figure something out." Shizue spoke with disinterest.
Gojo frowned. He was bent on helping the scouts too but he was more concerned of what will happen to Shizue once he leaves.
"Come on Shizue you know that's not the only reason why I'm here." Gojo quickened his pace and blocked her path.
The man saw the despair in her eyes that she tried so hard to mask. Shizue only looked down and avoided his gaze, she had no more energy to deal with him...or anything.
She was just too tired.
"I'm busy, Satoru." She walked past him. The man tried to stop her, but she didn't pay any attention.
"W-wait! Where are you going?"
"Kyoto." Shizue didn't bother to turn her head. "Utahime has a lead on whoever leaked the information from Jujutsu tech."
Gojo felt hopeless. He watched as Shizue continued to walk away from him.
"They'll leave tonight." The girl was stopped on her tracks.
What he said made Shizue clench her fists tightly.
"They're using Megumi's unfinished domain as a medium. I just thought you might like to know." Once Gojo said those words, he vanished.
Shizue wanted to see him. But she was just afraid that once she does, she will make the biggest mistake and make him stay. She can't do that.
Because Levi cannot die.
It's been a few hours since Shizue talked to Satoru, yet no matter how hard she fought these feelings, these thoughts continued to plague her mind. Utahime could see how distracted she was. This isn't normal even for Shizue. Even though everyone knew how much of a hassle she thinks her job is, Shizue never got this preoccupied during a mission.
"Shizue-chan?" She called softly, but the girl still had her eyes glued to the paperwork she held. It didn't seem like she was reading.
"Shizue," Utahime called again. This time, she placed a firm hand above her shoulder, causing Shizue to come back to her senses. Utahime just realized what is was about.
"I think you should go," She says and softly smiled at her. Shizue shook her head.
"No...sorry, I just got lost for a while."
"Its alright, you helped enough. I'll just get the first years to deal with Mechamaru. You should go." It seemed as though there was something within her words as she asked her to go.
"But-"
"You should go, now." Her words were stern, and at that moment, something snapped within her. Shizue didn't waste any second and rushed out of the office and head to the train station, not even bothering to get her luggage with her. But there was no time, She needed to get there now.
Or else, she will regret it for the rest of her life.
It was already midnight when Shizue arrived at Tokyo, she didn't bother to stop by at her building first and went straight to the beach where the ship was. This is it, this is where they will be.
Shizue tried to contact Fushiguro to try and delay their voyage, she knew they couldn't go without his technique, and he's the one operating the cursed object. But it was taking him too long to answer.
The cold air hits like sharp needles in her skin. By the time Shizue got to the location, the timeworn ship was no longer there. She was too late, They were gone.
he already left.
