Michael

After my shower and brushing my teeth I got lotioned up, got dressed and sprayed some cologne on my body before going downstairs and beginning to cook breakfast for Y/N and I. I started playing music off of my phone as I went in the fridge pulling out eggs and bacon. I then got the bread and thought about making French toast.

I pulled out two pans one for the bacon and eggs and another solely for the French toast. I begun making the batter for the French toast as dipped two slices of bread placing them on the pan. There was then a ring at the doorbell as I scrunched my brows some hearing Lola begin to bark. I continued cooking thinking maybe Y/N already knew which she did because I heard her open and greet whoever was at the door.

She started making her way towards the kitchen looking back at Whoever she was talking too then finally turned her head to look at me. She just stopped in her tracks as her hair was in a curly Afro and she had house clothes on with a pair of slippers.

"you're making breakfast?" She asked as I looked between her and the pan. "Yeah" I admitted as she faintly smiled. I then seen Ayanna and Amari. "Uncle Mike!" Amari expressed running up to me as I smiled big and hugged her. "What's up munchkin?" I asked as she hugged me excitedly making Me smile harder. "You want some breakfast?" I asked "yeah" she agreed. "Aight I got you" I assured "Go watch tv in the living room babe" Y/N said to Amari.

"Hey Ayanna" I said "what's up Michael" she said as we shared a friendly hug. "Where's Brandon?" I asked "out in the car talking" she informed as I nodded. "Maya said she'll be here in 3 minutes" Ayanna said to Y/N as I looked over at Y/N. Y/N just looked at me and looked away. "You look so adorable" Ayanna said playing with Y/N's coils as Y/N smiled "Thank you" she thanked.

The door to the house then opened as Brandon appeared in the kitchen and we immediately dapped up. "No time no see" he said as I chuckled. "I've been working" I started off "but I'm going to be out here for a while" I assured as I took a quick glance at Y/N and she just looked at me before looking away.

"That's what's up Yani and I can find a baby sitter and we should all go out one night" Brandon suggested. "Yeah that sounds like fun" I said with a smile.

"Y'all want some breakfast?" I asked as the doorbell rung. "Nah I had a protein shake I'm trying to watch what I eat" Ayanna said. "I don't know what for?! You're pregnant" Brandon said as Y/N gasped and looked over at Ayanna. Y/N started rubbing her belly. "Congratulations" I said as Ayanna swatted Y/N's hands away making me chuckle. "I'm not pregnant" Ayanna assured going to get the door.

"She is" Brandon stated as Y/N smiled big clapping her hands excitedly. She then high fived Brandon "I know that's right!" She hyped. "And you know this" Brandon expressed as I just laughed.

Maya then walked into the kitchen slowly "hey" she started off looking between Y/N and I. I just looked at Y/N as she placed on a fake smile and went to go sit at the island. I just nodded my head before continuing to cook breakfast. "Aww You're cooking for your bae?" Maya asked as I just placed on a fake smile and continued doing what I was doing. Something about her was always off and I really wanted to know how Y/N was even associated with her. They were like complete polar opposites, Y/N carried herself a different way and was raised differently so I don't know how they even became friends.

"Munchie you eating right now?" I asked Y/N "no you can feed Amari and wrap mines up" she said as I looked back at her from the food for a second as she looked away calling Amari "Mari come eat" She shouted as Anari came into the kitchen.

I made Amari a plate as Amari took a seat next to Y/N at the island. "Once Anari finished eating then we can start talking about Jevon and taking him to court" Y/N said as I was looking down at me phone seeing Maya trying to follow me and I just blocked her. I don't know what she was up too but I'm not fucking with it.

"So Y/N how long are you staying out here?" Maya asked "I'm not sure probably until this case And court is finished" Y/N admitted. "Don't you have other things to do like out in LA and New York?" Maya asked as I just looked up from my phone at her because she was asking too many questions for my liking.

"Yeah but one of my main focuses right now is this" Y/N said. "Must be nice to just up and move like that away from your problems." Maya stated. "I didn't move to get away from my problems" Y/N said looking over at Maya. "You leaving Atlanta and Jevon was literally you leaving to get away and I understand" Maya expressed. "I left because I was finished with college and my family wanted me to come home" Y/N assured.

"Well Since you're back in atlanta that's all that matters" Maya said with a smile. "How long are you staying Michael?" Maya asked me. "I don't know right now. I don't like her being out here by herself" I explained as I felt Y/N look at me. Maya then laughed some. "What you mean she's safe, I mean she's got me and she's been living out here before" Maya explained.

"Yeah and the last time she was out here alone she had YOU who knew she was being abused and you did nothing about it Besides get with her boyfriend" I said with no remorse as Y/N just looked over at me.

"That's why I don't like her being here by herself" I assured. "Mike" I heard Brandon call out as I looked over at him and he nodded his head towards the backyard for us to step out. I just turned off everything and stepped outside with him. I looked around at her back yard and it was decent.

"Mike I ain't know all of that was going on with Y/N at the time because had I known my foot would've been in Jevons ass I don't play that" Brandon explained. "Nah you're good I assumed you and Ayanna didn't know. But the person who did know and laughed about it when it wasn't being done to her is standing in that house with Y/N" I started off.

"The woman who knew, laughed about it and proceeded to deal with her boyfriend at the time behind her back is now crying on the internet expecting Y/N's help because she's a black woman and she is successful. I have a big problem" I admitted clearly pissed. "Jevon is still out and about within the Atlanta area and I do not trust Maya" I added. "You really think she would've did all that crying on the internet to get

Y/N here?" Brandon questioned. "I don't know but I'm not feeling Maya" I admitted. "You straight man. I've never really cared for Maya neither I don't know how Ayanna and Y/N are friends with her I'm going to be honest She too grown to be still on that hood rat shit." Brandon explained.

"I don't see Y/N dating Jevon either" I brought up as Brandon shook his head. "She did and it was wild because he's a street Nigga and she's sweet, well mannered just the complete opposite from him too so I don't know either" Brandon explained. "I just know once this whole case thing is done Ayanna's not dealing with Maya." Brandon added. "Y/N said the same thing" I started off then sighed some to myself. "I don't want Y/N having such a good heart towards Maya that something ends up happening to her" I admitted.
