It's been five months and Y/N and I have been doing great of course we spent holidays together since she's been away in Atlanta and then in between us working we would fly out to each other to spend time or go on dates with each other. Currently Steelo and I were out just spending time with each other.We were currently in the car driving from lunch going back to my place to play the game.

He just got off the phone with Dani and begun talking "Bro I need you to get your shit together" he said to me as I chuckled. "What you talking about? I didn't do anything" I expressed. "When are you going to propose to Y/N?" He asked as I laughed. "I thought we weren't talking about the girls today?" I asked. "Well when you got my girl calling my phone because she feel like you playing her best friend we got an issue" Steelo explained causing me to laugh.

"I need y'all to stop tripping once this court case is finalized I plan on proposing to her immediately I just don't want this shit taking from a moment for us" I explained. "You want me to be honest with you?" Steelo questioned. "What?" I asked stopping at a light. "I kept telling myself the same thing pushing the engagement further and further because I wanted the moment to be perfect but in reality there's really never the right moment" he explained.

"If you keep pushing it back the longer it's going to be before you two really get to start life together and two if you keep it up im sure Dani's going to convince Y/N to leave your INDECISIVE ASS ALONE" he expressed as I chuckled. "Look although she's going through everything with that case, she's happy because the video she choreographed drops at midnight, she's getting money and her man makes her feel loved what's really more special than that?" Steelo asked.

"Besides you've had the ring for almost a year stop fucking procrastinating and being a bitch" he added. "Shut up" I simply said as he chuckled. "Then come on" he said as I nodded. "You right" I simply said "we're going to the NAACP image awards together tomorrow night so I got it planned" I admitted. "Good because my girl be mad at me because of you" Steelo said as I shook my head "and vice versa nigga" I stressed.

"We should get them pregnant at the same time" Steelo suggested as I looked over at him and smirked before we dapped up. "It got to be boys though because me and Dani got to have some balance somewhere I'm the only Nigga in the house" Steelo explained making me laugh. "Dani be catching an attitude, dream be acting like she's not daddy's little girl and be going with her momma it's terrible" he explained.

"It's one out of five stars terrible I want a boy" he said making me shake my head. "You be scaring Dream and bullying her I'm surprised she still be underneath you" I said. "That's not the point you know me you know I have to be like this towards my kids it's only right. If you bully them now they're prepared for life" he explained causing me to laugh.

"You know I draw the line at outrageous bullying but scaring them is fine" he assured. "Anyway what's the plan for tomorrow night?" He asked. "It might not be tomorrow night" I brought up as Steelo just sucked his teeth. "Nigga" he simply stated. "Hear me out" I started off. "We're going to be in New York for the NAACP awards but then we're staying out there and going to the cabins for my birthday. So why not just propose to her while we out there in the cabins?" I asked.

"No she's doing that for your birthday don't be jumping on her bandwagon to propose to her." Steelo said as I shook my head then an idea immediately popped into my head. "Nah I got it" I Assured. "What?" He asked "I can't discuss that with you" I simply said checking my phone to see the weather in Manhattan tomorrow night. And around 11 to midnight it was going to be raining which by the time that starts we should be back at the hotel.

We finally made it back to my place as I was chilling out with Steelo and packing any last minute things my phone vibrated as I seen Y/N tagged me in her Instagram story. I went to it as

It was a video of her using a Snapchat filter on my face as she was watching "Black Panther" and her dying behind the camera.

I just chuckled screenshotting it and placing it on my story.

"Remember you got to see me tomorrow😂" I placed on the photo of the screenshot then @ her Instagram and posted it to my story. I then got a text message from her.

I just left her on read and chuckled to myself continuing to do what I was doing. I then grabbed the ring out of my drawer to my dresser as Steelo came in eating some chips. "Let me see it"  Steelo stated. "I already showed it to you" I said looking over at him. "you showed me the idea of the ring you wanted to get you never showed me the actual ring." Steelo explained.

I grabbed the box "oh Cartier" he hyped with a smirk as I opened it up.

"Pack a whole bunch of condoms bro" Steelo said shaking his head as I laughed. He just placed his hands on his head and turned in a circle. "Yeah pack up some condoms" he assured causing me to chuckle. "We don't need them" I assured. "Oh So y'all conceiving one of those days you're out of town, gotcha" I said nodding his head as I just shook my head and chuckled. "No She's on birth control" I said placing the box the ring was carrying in the suitcase.

"Besides She's still celibate some what" I brought up. "What you mean somewhat? it's either She's celibate or not" Steelo asked in a chuckle. "New years we got drunk so we had sex but other than that it's been head" I admitted. "Oh you love her ass" Steelo said "I mean don't get me wrong if Dani did it I would've been straight too but she ain't doing that.but damn Michael" Steelo explained making me laugh.

"Y/N going celibate though?" Steelo asked as we shared a laugh. "I understand you to some degree but Y/N?" He questioned. "Ever since the whole thing with her ex started she's been going through it so I understand" I honestly said. "Besides we've been working and we doing other Shit for intimacy too so it's really not that bad" I explained.

"I'm going to be honest with you, you're getting ass tomorrow night when you propose and you're getting ass the whole time you're out there so be prepared" he warned as I chuckled.

Around nine Steelo left as I decided to call my mother and let her know what I was about to do. "Hello?" She answered on the third ring. "Hey momma" I said "hey,what's wrong?" She asked "I just wanted to tell you tomorrow night I'm going to propose to Y/N" I started off. "I can't keep waiting and letting time pass by" I admitted. "You finally got it" My mother said. "It's never the right time for what you want" she said as I smiled. "Are you nervous?" She asked. "A little bit but I'll be fine" I assured. "Call me as soon as you get done proposing" She said excitedly. "Okay love you" I said "love you too" she said before we said our goodbyes.

"How long are you leaving for?" Maya asked me as I was grabbing last minute things out my closet to pack. "Im going to be gone for probably like four days" I lied I knew I was going to be gone for like a week maybe a week in a half. "Sounds like fun what do you have planned for his birthday?" Maya asked. "We're spending a couple of days in New York City then going to the cabins" I answered.

"Sounds like fun" she said with a smile. "Yeah his spoiled ass"  I joked. "Well have a safe trip Girl" She said as I smiled. "Thanks be safe with Jevon I know he popped up at your place" I brought up. "Yeah but there's a restraining order out so I should be fine" she admitted as I nodded. "Nothing should happen while you're gone" she assured as I nodded. We said our goodbyes then she left. Jevon has been harassing Maya which I didn't know why she kept going online going back forth with him when you could just block him and move on. But we're about to go to court soon and he's trying to do and say what he can to get out of the case but he can't.

I'm afraid if she keeps dealing with him he's going to do something crazy to her. I've been thinking about possibly having her stay here where he can't get to her versus her being at her place and something happens to her. I just wanted to help out but I don't know yet.
