I was in the room of my doctors office just lying there on the operating table on the phone watching texting Michael I was okay since he was checking up on me. The medical assistant just got done drawing my blood to run test along with a Covid test and a pregnancy test just because it was precaution due to me of course being sexually active. I was laying there feeling my mouth get watery and salty and immediately sat up. I got off the operating table and started throwing up into the trash.

I was throwing up as there was a knock on the door and I continued to throw up. "You need a minute?" The doctor questioned as I shook my head. "I'm fine" I assured as she handed me a couple of napkins to wipe my mouth.

"Well I have some news regarding your lab results" my doctor started off. "You don't have Covid, all of your lab work seems fine but your pregnancy test came back positive" she explained as I paused looking at her. "It came back positive?!" I questioned. "Yes so you are pregnant" she said with a big smile. "Woah. Wait" I started off "I took the IUD out like two months ago. It doesn't take time for everything to become fertile again?" I questioned. "No. With IUD's once you remove them you are immediately fertile and able to get pregnant" she explained as my mouth fell but it quickly turned to a smile. "Here goes the test as well" she said handing me the pregnancy test I took it and looked down seeing two bold lines.

"I'm going to have someone direct you downstairs to the sonography technician where she will give you your ultrasound" my doctor said as I nodded "congratulations again" she said with a smile as I smiled and thanked her. I had many things running through my mind like"what if this wasn't my pregnancy test.....What if it got switched with someone else's?" I thought to myself just sitting there before there was a knock on the door and a man penned his head in. "I'm ready whenever you are Mrs. Jordan' he assured with a big smile.

I got off the operating table following the guy as he directed me downstairs to a different lobby where I signed in and went to go sit down and wait for my name to be called.

"Mrs. Jordan" I heard a woman say as I looked up and she motioned me to go towards the back with her. She asked me how my day was going and what I was in this office for which was for an ultrasound. We walked into a room. "Get undressed from waist down and cover you lower half with this sheet and ill be back to start your ultrasound." She instructed. "Okay thank you" I thanked as she walked out and I did as told before getting on the operating table and placing the sheet over the lower half of my body. I was trying to figure out how I was going to tell Michael. I didn't want to do too much because he was already on edge with the whole brain tumor thing he made up in his head. I think I wanted to sit down and just talk to  him.

The radiologist came back in dimming the lights and we started getting the prices started which was her placing gel onto my stomach and rubbing it around with monitor. Instantly, we heard the baby's heart beat. "They are definitely here" the doctor said as I looked at the screen ahead of me while she stared at her computer rubbing around the monitor on my stomach. "Your baby has a real strong heartbeat" she complimented. "I know at first I thought maybe some accidentally gave me the positive pregnancy test but the baby is definitely in my stomach" I explained as we shared a small laugh. "Your baby is Two months" she informed taking pictures of the baby in the womb and getting close ups.

"So you've conceived either on Valentine's Day or around that time period" the radiologist brought up as It all started clicking. Literally I got pregnant that first night I had sex without my IUD. I just smiled at the screen as she was finally done. She cleaned my stomach off, handed me my ultrasound pictures and sent me on my way. Once I got into the car I scheduled an appointment for next month with my OB/GYN for the baby check up then finally drove back to the house.

I went inside the house looking around for Michael. I knew he was somewhere in here because he took the day off. I walked into the gym seeing him working out while Kendrick Lamar was blasting throughout the gym. I just watched him for a moment.

"Babe" I called out as he continued working out. "Babe" I called out again as he didn't hear me again. I just walked up to him placing my hand on his shoulder as he finally looked in the mirror and looked back at me. He then grabbed his phone stopping the music through the gym. "Hey baby girl what'd they say?" He questioned. "Hey baby, go get cleaned up we have to talk about something" I instructed. "Aight you straight?" He asked standing up and placing the weights back up while looking at me. "Babe just go get washed up" I said "okay" he agreed before walking past me and placing a kiss on my head.

I just smiled to myself and turned out the light in the gym before walking out. Michael was already upstairs so I started making my way up there as well just to get out of my clothes I just wanted to be more comfortable. I took my pants off along with a shirt placing on a black long sleeve fitted shirt. I then slipped into a pair of sweat pants and took the ultrasound pictures from out of my purse along with the positive pregnancy test that was in a small Ziploc bag before heading downstairs. I placed the ultrasound and pregnancy test on the counter before looking through the fridge and freezer trying to figure out what I was going to make. I pulled out some steak, bacon, cheese along with some collard greens and pulled out some potatoes from out the pantry closet. I went over to the sink washing off the collard greens beginning to take them off the stems roll them up and cut them into smaller pieces. I was about twenty minutes into doing this as Michael came downstairs while I was finishing up.

"Babe I said I got dinner tonight" he brought up. "Mike it's fine I got it" I assured throwing all the stems away and filling the sink up with water. "Y/N" he said as I just looked over at him. "Okay" I said turning off the water and placing the collard greens into the water. "Babe" he expressed as I just poured distilled vinegar into the sink full of water and collard greens. "Babe let me just set you up to clean it" I said as he just took the bottle out of my hands. "I said I got it" he repeated as I placed my hands up. "What's going on?" He asked as I handed him the doctors office pregnancy test . "You got Covid?" He asked as I immediately started to laugh. "Michael" I said shaking my head to myself. "Babe you got to let me know so I can pause production" he expressed. "you breathing alright?" He questioned looking over me concerned. "Because you know I'll take you to the emergency room immediately" he stressed.

"I really hope you're not like this when the baby gets here" I said as he was about to open his mouth to say something but he just looked at me then at the test then back at me with his brows scrunched. "Baby?" He questioned as I just handed him the ultrasound pictures. "I took my IUD out back in February before visiting you out in Atlanta and I thought it would take me sometime to get pregnant so I took it out earlier for after the wedding but" I started off "I'm now two months" I honestly admitted with a small smile. "Y/N don't play with me right now you told me you were pregnant already on April fools" he started off looking at me. "Are you serious?" He questioned as I nodded with a big smile. "Baby that's a positive pregnancy test from your the doctors office. The Covid at home test and the in office pregnancy tests looks exactly the same" I explained.

"Yo" he expressed placing his hand over his mouth. "You're going to be a daddy" I said as his eyes started to water and he pinched the bridge of his nose. I just held my arms open as he wrapped his arms around me. "Yo We're having a baby" he said looking at the ultrasound pictures with a huge smile. "You're really pregnant" he said looking at me amazed. "The headaches and insomnia was because I am pregnant" I brought up. "When's the next appointment?!" He asked "a month from now" I informed as he smiled. "My baby is having my baby!" he expressed loudly while picking me up as I laughed.

Ever since I told Michael that I was pregnant earlier he's been feeling himself. I was laying my back against the headboard of the bed while dipping my pickles into the peanut butter and eating it. I picked my phone up looking at the time reading "11:37 pm" I then seen a text from Dani.

Me: this nigga in here feeling himself😂

he bought that house for y'all low key😂

I heard Michael start making his way upstairs as he was singing. I just started recording the door waiting for him to walk through. Michael then begun hyping himself up singing a chant from off of "The Bernie Mac show".  "WHO'S THE MAN?" He started off "YOU THE MAN!" He added as I snickered "STRONG HEALTHY BLACK MAN" he added walking through the door. "HUN. DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, D-DUN!" He expressed beating his chest some making me laugh. He finally looked at the camera. "You big dawg?" I asked. "Mr. Jordan be putting in work" he said taking his watch off as I giggled.

I ended the video and smiled sending it off to Dani. "You told anybody you were pregnant yet?" Michael asked coming over to me as I just smiled and shook my head. He then placed a kiss on my head and got on his knees next to the bed. "I don't want to say anything to until we find out the gender and I'm in my second trimester" I honestly admitted. "I don't want everyone to be excited and something you know....happens" I added as he just lifted up shirt revealing my stomach while he rubbed my belly. "Sir ain't no belly in sight " I said in a small laugh as he placed a kiss on my stomach. "I know but you know for when baby girl wants to poke through" he said as I laughed.

"You're giving me a boy" I simply said as he chuckled. "Twins" he added as I immediately shook my head. "No sir" I said as we shared a small laugh. "Whatever it is. It's still my baby" Michael honestly said as I agreed. "Come here" I said to him as Michael just smiled getting up. "What?" He asked fully standing up. "Come here" I repeated as he climbed on top of me and hovered over my body. I kissed his lips softly as he kissed back. He pulled away from our kiss. "I got you pregnant" he teasingly said as I giggled and pecked his lips. My arms wrapped around his neck as I pecked his lips once again.

"Your breath smells like straight peanut butter" he said as we shared a laugh.
