Nyla bit her lip and took a deep breath before entering the study. As she approached, Damon looked up and snapped, âIâm working. Get out!â

Sumner, are you still upset about last night?â she asked.
Damon shot her a cold look. âNo. Can you leave now?â

Damon scoffed. âAnxious? What do you have to be anxious about?â
If it werenât for Lucaâs investigation, he wouldnât have believed that the person behind Stephen was her.
He had just started to feel something for her, only to discover she was using Stephen and Prestige Corp. to scheme against him. He felt utterly deceived.
Nyla took a deep breath and said, âMr. Sumner, even if you donât want to tell me, you donât have to take it
out on me.â
âDo you really not know why Iâm angry?â Damon asked.
