Chapter 15

I waved bye to Cousin Larane who had to go since her Father was calling.

Standing up I looked at the flowers we had planted with a satisfied smiled Craney had run off to get more water I'll wait for him water the last few plants and we can get going. Dusting my dress off Craney came running with no water looking panicked "Rossetti!" He exclaimed his eyes wide with fear.

"Craney what's wrong?" I asked "M-Mother started yelling for-For me to get father- but I can't find him!" Craney stuttered over his words "I think something- something's wrong with the baby!" He was panting exhausted.

"It's ok calm down" I told him "let's go get someone older"

Craney nodded "mother said she'd be in her room we just have to go back to the mansion you look for your father I'll get mother"

Craney nodded his small hands trembling "ok let's go" I told him taking his hand as we rushed back to the Mansion once we were indoor's my gaze landed on the nearest servant.

"Where is Uncle Laurel?" I asked quickly "Lord Laurel..." the maid looked confused as if trying to remember "I'm not sure I think one of the maids say he's in lord Lombardy's office" the maid said "ok Craney go!" Craney nodded rushing off as I headed to mothers room panting as I reached the door.

Mother had just walked out looking at me with wide eyes "Rossetti what's wrong?" She asked "Craney said something's wrong with his mother something about the baby" I said panting "he went to grandfathers office because his Father might be there" "Why where is she-" mother said looking around seeming suddenly aware "I don't know he went to go get water somewhere in the garden" I replied.

"Ok-" mother rushed down the hall as I followed her catching sight ofUncle Laurel on the way with Craney who was crying "Sister" Laurel said with relief "don't sister me let's go find your wife" mother said Uncle instantly nodded "you two stay here" mother called as she rushed down the stairs.

Craney looked at me through tears "your mothers going to be alright" I told him he nodded wiping his eyes "I- ok"

"Why don't we go... to the library" I suggested the first thing that came to mind "but mother-" Craney whispered. I didn't wait for an answer grabbing his hand I dragged him off telling him to sit down on a chair as I got a nice fairy tale and asked a maid to get us a few snacks.

The library door burst opened Acallilu and Belsach stormed in "what's going on?" Acallilu demanded "Father said to go to the library and not cause any ruckus!"

"Mother's having the baby I think something's wrong" Craney exclaimed with a wobbly voice "what?" Acallilu froze "nah I bet everything will be fine" Belsach shook his head "mother didn't seem to worried"

I stood up and shrugged "well it doesn't matter anyways we can't do anything"

Everyone fell silent "so why are you reading a children book at a time like this?" Belsach sneered "because reading a book at a time like this isn't going to affect anyone" I pointed out Belsach froze and huffed "ok so what are we going to do just stand here till night time?"

Acallilu still looked worried "I dunno I hope mother is ok" "ok let's all just calm down" I sighed technically eyeing Belsach who wanted to snap at Acallilu.

"What should we do then!?" Craney exclaimed I thought for a while.

"Why don't we... sneak out?" I asked everyone fell silent again "Are you Crazy!?" Belsach exclaimed I winced "well we can sneak out and do something I dunno go to a cafe?" I pointed out "His mums giving birth! You can't just sneak out and cause more trouble!" Belsach pointed at me accusingly "what do you suggest then!?" I shouted back.

Everyone fell silent once again "I-I say lets have Tea! In The garden!" Belsach finally huffed out "a tea party? At a time like this?" I muttered he glared at me but when I looked back at Craney's crest fallen face and Acallilu's worried gaze which kept flicking back to the door I sighed.

Then smiled and clapped my hands "ok let's go to the west garden and have a tea party what do you say!" Craney looked up at me "but-"

"No buts your mum will be fine but its not like we can do anything" I said he paused and nodded "o-ok"

Everyone looked at Acallilu who nodded silently "Fine"

"Great let's go" I said Belsach looked at me with a raised brow like I hadn't been yelling at him five seconds ago that it was a dumb idea.

We headed to the large Glass house with blooming roses and lavenders and other flowers the pond was clear with a few water Lilly's as we all sat down on the wooden chairs.

The servants came with simple cakes and tea. I had gotten a few books with me may as well study.

"What now?" Belsach whispered to me I shrugged looking at Craney and Acallilu who seemed else where.

"So I herd your birthdays coming up!" Belsach tried it's probably the first time I see him try to start a conversation or try to do anything actually!

"Oh yea Sister Rosetti's birthday!" Craney looked up with a smile "Brother did you get anything yet?" Acallilu snapped out if his trans "Hm oh yea I did yesterday with father actually I'm not sure if you'll like it I didn't know what to get you sorry Rossetti" Acallilu muttered "that's ok I'm fine with anything" Said "Gilliu and Mayron keep asking me random questions for my birthday gift but they already dropped enough hints now I have to pretend I don't know" I laughed "your brothers are always like that" Belsach sighed "there to energetic how do you deal with them?" "How does Larane deal with you" I glared at him and he glared back at me.

"What do you mean deal with me!" He exclaimed "your to noisy" I shook my head "you little-" he paused half way looking at Craney and Acallilu.

"Your so annoying" he huffed "if I have a little sister will I have to deal with that?" Acallilu asked Belsach who grumbled "I dunno Larane thinks everyone is good"

But we all fell silent when the green house doors opened.

Uncle Galahan walked in with Uncle Viese and Mother.

"Mother!" I smiled running up to hug her she smiled sadly  "sorry I took I took a while"

"How's my mother!" Acallilu jumped up "she's fine" Uncle Galahan looked at mother with a side way glance "is she ok?and the baby!?" Acallilu asked looking for answers mothers grip tightened on my shoulder I looked up at her with wide eyes.

The unreadable gaze. She was upset clearly upset.

"I'm sorry Acallilu the baby-" Uncle Galahan tried to break it down to him I didn't understand but Acallilu seemed to and he rushed out of the green house "Acallilu!" Craney exclaimed running after his brother.

"Mother...." I whispered "what happened to Aunt Ronnece?" I asked "she's fine..." Mother muttered "come on why don't we go back" I nodded as she grabbed my hand tightly.

We walked out if the green house in silence mother didn't speak and I decided it's best not to.
