Lemons are very beneficial for skin, hair and even nails.
Lemons are a great remedy for blackhead problems, so soak a cotton ball in a small amount of lemon juice and apply to the skin having blackheads every alternative day. Caution: Your skin might feel irritated, get reddish and itch from the acidity of lemon. That's why I said, take a small amount of lemon juice. You may add a few drops of water to reduce the irritation.
For Dry, Flaky Skin: Make a paste of honey, lemon and a few drops of water. Apply on your skin.
Dark patches on face, knees, elbows or any other place in body? Simply cut a lemon and rub on that place.
LEMONS ARE EXTREMELY GOOD FOR LIGHTENING DARK PATCHES AND SKIN TONE.
Fix yellow and brittle nails by mixing lemon juice with a few drops of castor or almond oil. Let the slick mixture sit on your nails for about 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.
Lemons are the best remedy for removing dandruff! Take some lemon juice and apply a few drops of water. Soak a cotton ball, apply to your scalp and keep for thirty minutes. This might itch but it very helpful in removing dandruff!
For Lightening your skin tone and make your skin more glowing:
For a skin-lightening mask, mix 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon tomato juice, 1 tablespoon cucumber juice, and 1 tablespoon sandalwood paste into a paste. Apply to skin and let sit 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and moisturize.
For a lemon exfoliant, mix together 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 egg white, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Massage exfoliant into skin using gentle circular motions. Gently scrub or let rest for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm water, and moisturize.
