A few days passed uneventfully until the weekend finally came around, and Noel and Alison's beginning of the year party was taking place that very night at the Kahns' family cabin. The two had been planning on mixing Spencer's 16th birthday into the party by Toby's suggestion, so that now, it was a beginning-of-the-year, birthday party. Spencer had insisted -more like threatened - that she didn't want anything big for her sweet sixteenth, so a nice party with all of her friends and acquaintances seemed like a good idea for a celebration.
The group arrived at the event by foot, figuring they didn't want to drive drunk, and the cabin really wasn't that far of a walk. As they approached the cabin, they saw Noel trying to carry an exaggerated amount of different snacks and drinks inside the house. They hurriedly ran up to help him.
"Hey, you made it!" he acknowledged excitedly as the group helped with the bags and coolers of drinks. "Happy birthday, Spence."
"Thanks, Noel," Spencer answered with a smile as Toby came behind her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"Those lights are so pretty," Emily commented enthusiastically as she pointed at the fairy lights hanging on the roof of the cabin, creating a magical effect. The brunette had been generally extra cheerful that day since all signs of her black eye were now completely faded and she was back to normal.
"You can have them if you want," Noel suggested lightheartedly.
"Really?"
"Yeah, you told me how much you love Christmas. You can use them when the season comes," he offered with a shrug.
"Thanks, Noel," Emily smiled genially at him.
They followed him inside his family's cabin and greeted people left and right in the process. Even the guys who were new at the school had already managed to make plenty of friends, due to their friendly personality and the fact that they were associated with the girls.
Of course Alison needed to make a mindblowing entrance for this party, since she was one of the organizers, and well, because she was Alison DiLaurentis. She smirked her infamous smirk as she strolled confidently through the door, satisfaction donning on her face as people parted ways for her, stopping their conversation just to move out of her way. Emily would've rolled her eyes at the girl if her need for attention wasn't actually so damn cute.
They looked around in awe, seeing that there were plenty of people inside the house already, but the party was just getting started.

"God, the sun hurts my eyes, I feel like a freaking vampire," Alison complained tiredly as she took a seat at a table in the corner of The Brew.
"Ali's right, this hurts like a bitch," Hanna took the seat next to Alison, adjusting the sunglasses on her face even though it was indoors.
"Language, Hanna." Spencer semi-scolded, seeing as they were in a public place.
"Not so loud, Spence!" Aria whined, covering her ears at a lame attempt of easing up her hangover.
"Remind me again why we decided to go out instead of just suffering the hangover at our houses?" Emily asked no one in particular.
"Because," Alison started, "I don't remember half of the things from last night so I kind of need you all to fill me in."
"So many things happened last night," Aria said as she shook her head lightly.
"Yeah, it was one hell of a party," Hanna chuckled and the rest couldn't help but smile in agreement with her. Even Emily and Spencer, who for the most part usually didn't enjoy parties, smiled at the memory.
"But if it means I need to wake up like this with a throbbing head, I'm not completely sure it's worth it," Emily shrugged.
"Oh, trust me, it was worth it," Alison said flirtatiously and winked at her girlfriend, who instantly blushed.
"I'm sorry, am I missing something here?" Spencer asked with a small smirk on her lips.
"You won't believe what happened to us yesterday at the party," Alison started as Emily groaned and let her head fall on the table.
*flashback*
"You're, you're, you're just my type
Oh, you got a pulse and you are breathing
You're, you're, you're just my type
Oh, I think it's time that we get leaving"
Saint Motel's song, "My Type" boomed loudly throughout the cabin just as Alison dragged Emily by the hand towards the back of the place.
"Ali, where are we going?" Emily giggled as they passed by people.
"We're already here, babe," Alison said in reassurance as she opened the door to one of the many bedrooms in the large cabin. "Ladies first." Alison held the door open and gestured Emily inside.
They were both already pretty tipsy at this point. Alison had danced along with Emily on the dance floor - which was really, just the middle of the living room that had been cleared - and what had started off as an innocent kiss in the middle of a dance turned into a heated make-out session that Alison didn't want the perverted, horny guys of their school to see, so she took Emily's hand and led her to a more private area of the cabin, where they could continue what they'd started.
"If I'm the lady, does that make you the man?" Emily chuckled as she stumbled a bit at the doorway and Alison put her hand on Emily's back for support. The hand on her back trailed upwards on her spine until it reached her shoulder, sending pleasant shivers all around Emily's body, then Alison turned the brunette to face her, leaning to whisper in her ear;
"I'll be your daddy any day."
The sultry, yet somewhat ridiculous words came out of Alison's mouth before she could stop them - side effect of being drunk. Alison's naughty smirk took over her face as she noticed Emily unconsciously biting her lip. She loved the fact that she was the only one who got to see this sexy, seductive side of Emily. She was the only one who could bring it out of her. It was very satisfying for her for some reason, it made her feel... special, unique. Like she had obtained something no one else could ever have. And if you knew Alison DiLaurentis or of her, then you knew she was absolutely addicted to being elite.
She began slowly edging towards Emily, like a lioness stalking its prey, pulling the girl closer to her-
"Woah, I do not need to hear this!" Spencer shook her head vehemently, holding a disgusted face.
"You said you wanted to hear the story," Alison defended with fake-innocence.
"Yeah, the story of what happened at the party, not fifty shades of Emison," Spencer complained.
"Can I just say how smooth that 'daddy' thing was? I mean, damn, if that's what happening in your bedroom, can I join?" Hanna smirked as she clapped slowly for Alison.
"Hanna!" Emily whined, her cheeks turning red at the comment.
"Dream on, Han. I'm keeping her all to myself. My girlfirend's too sexy to be passed around like that, thank you very much," Alison deadpanned, placing her hand on Emily's thigh possessively as the brunette gaped at her.
Emily secretly loved it when Alison got jealous or possessive, she couldn't pinpoint the reason why, but she found it to be extremely attractive. The brunette subtly released a breath as she tore her eyes from Alison in an attempt to cool her burning, flushed face.
"And Spence, relax, you're gonna want to hear what happened after that," Alison said as she went back to her story.
She began slowly edging towards Emily, like a lioness stalking its prey, pulling the girl impossibly closer to her by the waist and caressing her cheek lovingly. "Emily Fields, we are two beautiful girls in love, hooking up in a bedroom at Noel Kahn's cabin. If someone would've told me six months ago that this would be my life, I probably would've laughed in their face."
Emily kissed the inside of Alison's palm, "I know, Ali. I probably would've laughed too at the absurdity of it all. But I'm... I'm really glad this is my life."
Alison smiled in return, leaning in to capture Emily's lips. As they kissed sweetly and longingly, Emily's hands boldly crept down her body, and something soon changed in Alison's brain, like a switch had been turned on. She began putting more of herself into the kiss at a growing pace, attacking Emily's lips hungrily with no objection from the brunette who was just as starving for Alison as Alison was for her. Emily's drunken hands wandered down to Alison's ass, squeezing greedily as the blonde groaned against in her mouth in approval.
"I need you so bad, Em," Alison whimpered pleadingly against Emily's lips, "right now."
"Then do something about it," Emily challenged bluntly in a low, impatient voice.
Alison smirked, moving back to kissing Emily passionately on lips and then advancing to her jaw, then neck and sucking, biting and kissing the tender skin. She trapped Emily between the wall and herself as she continued, driving the girl absolutely crazy, the mixture of alcohol in her veins and Alison's lips on her skin making her feel phenomenal.
"Ali," Emily moaned breathily as she let her hands fly to Alison's hair.
Just then, the door creaked open, which the two hadn't even bothered locking, but they didn't really notice, considering the circumstances.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize - Emily?!"
Emily instantly backed away from Alison out of instinct. "Paige?" she asked in confusion.
Alison rolled her eyes at the intrusion. 'Great, just great,' she thought sarcastically to herself.
"What do you think you're doing?" Paige rudely asked Alison.
"What does it look like I'm doing, pig-Paige?" Alison corrected herself not-so-subtly, not letting the old nickname slip through her lips.
"Emily, is she using you? For sex?" Paige asked, horrified.
"No! Why would you even say something like that?" Emily asked, her eyes growing impossibly wide.
"This isn't the first time we've had sex, Einstein," Alison rolled her eyes once more.
"Shut up, you little slut," Paige slurred. She was obviously as drunk as they were, perhaps even more. Alison's eyebrows raised in an unimpressed manner at the insult, the blonde was almost amused.
"Paige!" Emily shouted at her. "Don't call my girlfriend a slut!"
"Why are you even with her, Emily? You deserve someone better, someone like me," Paige offered hopefully, not doubt the alcohol talking for her.
"I'm sorry, Paige, but you and I will never be together. Stop being there every time I turn a corner, and stop insulting my girlfriend. I love Alison, okay? And that's final. I think you should leave," Emily finished, dead-serious. Alison couldn't help the proud smile that spread on her face. Emily defended her, defended their relationship, and Alison was so damn happy.
"Call me once you realize your mistake." Paige looked like a beaten puppy when she exited the bedroom since Emily left her no room for negotiation. Emily turned back to Alison.
"I am so sorry, Ali," Emily said as she hugged the blonde tightly.
"Sorry? For what?"
"For not believing you when you said Paige was horrible to you," Emily mumbled against Alison's neck.
"Well, I was pretty horrible to her, too. Look, I know Paige was your friend, Em. It was hard for you to see it but she's a manipulative person," Alison backed away and held Emily's hands. "I get that this sounds hypocritical, but I know she is because I was once one too, before I was rescued-" the blonde kissed Emily's knuckles, "-by you, mermaid."
"Ugh, you two are so cheesy!" Hanna groaned loudly at the two just as the waiter placed a plate of banana pancakes in front of her, making her eyes light up. They had ordered while Alison was telling the story, and the blonde had smartly stopped or lowered her voice whenever the waiter approached them.
"In the best way possible," Alison shrugged smugly and took a sip of her smoothie.
"You know what's cheesy? Spencer's ear," Aria laughed and the rest chuckled too as they understood the joke, all except Spencer.
"Oh, yes, let's all remember Hanna's little 'accident' last night," Spencer said sarcastically, her voice as dry as a desert.
"Let's," Hanna agreed happily, ignoring Spencer's tone on purpose. "So, last night..."
"Come on, Spence, it's your birthday!" Aria excitedly led Spencer to the living room of the cabin, where a lot of the people from the party had gathered to celebrate the genius brunette's birthday and cut the cake Toby had bought - a large, white-chocolate raspberry cheesecake, Spencer's favorite.
Once she saw Spencer approaching, Alison threatened everyone to start singing, and they all complied, of course.
Oh, how she enjoyed the perks of being the Queen Bee, she thought happily as her drunk body leaned onto Emily, who caught her with ease.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Spencer, happy birthday to you!" the crowd sang heartedly in unison.
"Thank you, guys," Spencer said honestly with a small, grateful smile, then kissed Toby, hugged her close friends, and moved to thank some other friends from around the school.
She leaned in to blow out the candles, but unfortunately when she was done, Hanna, who had been standing behind her, was bumped into by a random person in the crowd, making her accidentally push Spencer face-first onto the cake.
"Oh, my god, Spence, I'm so sorry," Hanna rushed to her help. Toby was on Spencer's other side in an instant, as well, making sure people hadn't seen the slip-up. Fortunately, not many people saw it since they'd left after singing happy birthday, figuring she wanted to cut the cake with her close circle of friends.
Spencer lifted up her head, trying to stand up straight yet stumbling a bit, partly because she was drunk, and partly because the cake blurred her vision. "I think there's some in my ear," she informed them miserably.
The girls quickly took her to the bathroom, helping her wash all of the cake off and fixing her make-up so that she didn't need to go home already, all while Hanna apologized profoundly for the accident. Spencer forgave her, of course, but she would've preferred if it didn't happen at all.
Hanna on the other hand, on any normal occasion, would've laughed her heart out, but it was Spencer's birthday, and Hanna knew more than anyone how much public humiliation sucked.
Once they were out of the bathroom, they all went back to the party, Spencer clean as new, and their guilt lowering at any minute. Well, except for Hanna's.
"I said I was sorry!" Hanna said defensively.
"I know, and I forgive you," Spencer responded honestly. "Just next time, don't stand directly behind me."
"Yes, ma'am," Hanna saluted her, successfully getting a chuckle out of Spencer for the first time that morning.
"Han, can I borrow your sunglasses for a minute?" Alison asked. She could feel her eyes burning from the amount of sunlight entering through the glass wall in front of her. 'Who the hell designed this place?' she thought to herself in despair. Aria, Spencer and Emily didn't feel it because they had their backs to the entrance of The Brew, but she had had enough.
"No way, Ali, you said so yourself, it hurts my eyes," Hanna shook her head, grimacing.
"Here, Ali," Emily handed her a pair of black sunglasses that she took from her bag.
"It's okay, Em-"
"No, seriously, take it. The sun is directly in front of you," Emily said as if she read Alison's mind, her arm still stretched with the sunglasses in her hand. "Besides, they're your sunglasses," she admitted with a shy smile. "I didn't have a chance to bring them back to you from when we were in Paris."
Alison smiled softly as she took the glasses from Emily's gentle grip and placed them on her face. "Thank you, Em," she said as she touched Emily's forearm lovingly then moved her hand down to Emily's and held it. She turned to Hanna, "See? Em cares about me."
"Yeah, 'cause Em's getting laid," Hanna snickered to herself.
"Hanna!" Emily screeched once again. "Could you please not?"
"Sorry, I can't help it! Emison sex jokes are my favorite," Hanna giggled, smirking to herself as she ate another bite of her pancakes.
"Mine too, Han," Alison chuckled, sharing a knowing smirk with Hanna.
Emily covered her face with her hands in embarrassment as Spencer patted her back in sympathy.
"Guys, leave the poor girl alone. It's only 10 AM," Aria reasoned, although she knew it was all just teasing.
Alison gently pulled Emily's hand to her lips, kissing the top of her knuckles in a silent apology.
"Sorry, but no can do, Em. As the best friend you've ever had, I think it's my rightful duty to tease you about your sex life," Hanna shrugged nonchalantly.
"I don't recall signing a contract for that," Emily sassed back and Alison hid her mouth in her palm as she chuckled, scandalized at her mermaid's bluntness.
Hanna tilted her head and simply gave the brunette a seriously? kind of look.
"Fine, just get it over with," Emily sighed heavily and pouted, narrowing her eyes at Hanna. The brunette's adorable child-like nature when she was hungover made everyone in the table break into equal grins.
Hanna smirked in victory. She cleared her throat, "Well, I want to discuss what I saw Ms. Fields here," she looked pointedly at Emily, "doing last night." She spoke formally, as if she was presenting an award or speaking in a courtroom.
Emily's head perked up at that, cautiously asking, "What did you see?"
"Oh, just something that you and Alison were doing together. It looked anything but innocent," she finished, her smirk increasing.
Spencer and Aria shared curious looks.
"Gather 'round children, auntie Hanna has a story to tell you," Hanna joked, beginning to talk about last night.
"I love you, Emily Fields!" Hanna shouted to her best friend over the loud music as they both sat slumped on the couch together, sharing a bottle of beer.
"Love you too, Hanna Marin," Emily giggled as she laid her head on the bubbly blonde's shoulder.
Alison, who had been taking a short nap in Emily's lap, woke up to the sound of the loud noises above her.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Ali, did we wake you?" Emily asked concernedly upon seeing her girlfriend stirring awake.
"Yeah, but don't worry about it," Alison dismissed her as she stretched softly.
"Hey, I'm gonna go dance with Caleb, I'll catch up with you two later," Hanna got up with her boyfriend's help. Emily and Alison waved goodbye as they watched the couple walk away.
"I want to get another drink, let's go to the kitchen," Alison uttered to the girl. She was much more awake now, seeing as all of the people around her were shouting loudly and the music was banging in her ears, it was hard for her to stay tired. The fact that she could even fall asleep in the first place surprised her enough.
Emily nodded and they both went to the kitchen. It was only when they got there that Alison had a wild idea.
"Hey, Em?"
"Yeah?"
"Wanna do something crazy?"
Emily eyed her suspiciously, "Like what?"
"Lie down here," Alison instructed, gesturing to the marble countertop that was currently occupied by a few red solo cups.
"Why?"
"You'll see," was the only mischievous response Emily got. The brunette huffed and waited a few seconds for further explanation. "Em, just trust me, okay?" Alison asked hopefully.
So she did. They quickly cleared the countertop together and Alison helped Emily lie down on her back on top of it. Alison reached out and grabbed the bottom of Emily's shirt, tugging on it gently. "Ali, what are you doing?" Emily asked nervously.
"Shh..." Alison put her index finger on her lips and shushed mysteriously before advancing to Emily's face and kissing her lips tenderly. "I," she presented proudly, "am going to drink shots off of you."
"What?!"
"You said you wanted to know," Alison chuckled. "It'll be fun for you too, I promise."
"You're crazy," Emily shook her head in amusement.
"Only for you, baby," Alison whispered in Emily's ear. The brunette looked around to see if anybody was watching them, but she couldn't see anyone, since most people were either on the dance floor or outside, so she agreed to have Alison drink shots off of her, because, when had the blonde ever let her down in the span of their relationship?
Alison took some salt and made an upward trail of it on Emily's toned stomach, biting her lip at the sight of those tantalizing light abs, then placed a shot of tequila at the end of that trail, and finally, took a lime she found and placed it in Emily's mouth, kissing her cheek after that.
"Ready?" Alison asked excitedly.
"No, but it's too late to back out now," Emily answered after she took the lime out of her mouth momentarily.
Alison smile faltered a bit, "Em, we don't have to do this if you don't want to. I don't want to make you do anything, what kind of girlfriend would I be then?"
Emily grabbed Alison's hand softly, "I want you to do it. I trust you. And it's time I do something spontaneous."
Emily gave Alison a reassuring smile, which the blonde returned happily, "Okay."
Alison bent down and licked the trail of salt, nipping a small bite at the brunette's delicious abs and looking straight into Emily's eyes as she did so. Emily was mesmerized by her ridiculously hot girlfriend at that moment - why had she thought this was a bad idea?
Then Alison downed the shot quickly and bit the lime away from Emily's mouth.
When she was done, she threw the lime to the side, turning to Emily who was now sitting up on the counter, still captivated in a haze. Their eyes caught in an intoxicating, intense gaze, practically seconds away from crashing their lips onto each other's.
But before Emily could get a word out of her mouth, she heard a voice behind them;
"Emison gone wild!" Hanna shouted in a playful voice from the entrance of the kitchen.
"How long have you been watching?" Emily asked, horrified.
"Long enough," Hanna shrugged. "Plus, you do know that the kitchen is visible from the dance floor, right?" she asked in amusement.
"Oh, god," Emily groaned.
"It's okay, Em, you have nothing to be ashamed of," Alison calmed her. "Absolutely nothing," she began inching hungrily towards Emily, spreading her legs, the brunette silently whimpering at the gesture as Alison stood between them, challengingly looking up at her.
"Yeah?" Emily asked in response to her statement, smirking coyly.
"Mmhm," Alison hummed in agreement, both her hands on top of Emily's thighs. Even without the countertop, Emily was slightly taller than Alison, making the height difference at the moment appear even bigger, which turned Alison on more than she cared to admit.
"AAAnd that's my cue to leave," Hanna told no one in particular, leaving the scene awkwardly as soon as she could, not that the girls noticed.
"What?!" Aria practically shouted in shock, and even the people in the other end of The Brew turned their head to look at her, dismayed. Emily gave those people an apologetic look. "How could I've missed this?"
"Alison taking shots from Emily's stomach, that's one thing I thought we'd never see," Spencer acknowledged with a snicker.
"It was one shot!" Emily begged, the heat quickly rushing to her face.
"Han, you should've gotten it on video or something," Aria crossed her arms and huffed.
"Sorry! I was too fascinated," Hanna smirked.
"You all think that Em's completely innocent, but my babe can be as naughty as I am. Sometimes even more," Alison winked at Emily flirtatiously.
Aria, Spencer and Hanna all exchanged knowing smiles.
"What?" Alison asked, curious at their discreetness.
"I think after all this time it's still weird for us when you call each other 'babe'," Spencer said, holding her smile.
"Weird?" Alison asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, but it's good. It's a good kind of weird," Aria said cheerfully.
"Well, Emily doesn't call me that," Alison said with a pointed look at her timid girlfriend.
"I'm sorry, Ali, it's just weird for me for some reason," Emily shrugged.
"Because you're naturally shy, but Emily, you're the sexiest woman alive to me and I just want you to be comfortable calling me whatever you want," Alison explained.
"No, you just want me to call you babe because you like the sound of it," Emily teased.
"That's also true," Alison chuckled, caught.
"Okay." Emily spoke again after a few seconds.
"Okay?"
"Yeah, anything you want." Emily said charmingly. "If you want me to call you babe, I'll call you babe. And I might end up liking it, too."
"That's my girl," Alison stated proudly and smiled.
"Guys, that waitress is giving us dirty looks, I think we should split the check and leave," Aria said distractedly, looking off to their side.
"But I don't want to suffer this hangover alone, guys, that's what this group is for," Hanna groaned.
"Yeah, friends share hangovers, that's what keeps us close," Alison laughed.
"Let's go to my house then. My parents are out," Spencer suggested.
"I'm in," Hanna said.
"Me too," Alison, Emily and Aria said in accidental unison, making them all laugh.
"Why is she still looking at us like that?" Emily asked as she observed the waitress. Her skin was darker, about the same tone as Emily's and her name badge read "Maya". She was staring them down one by one, all except Emily.
Alison and Hanna exchanged an odd look, and in some secret, telepathic way, got up at the same time. Emily stared in complete shock as Hanna and Alison marched over to the waitress, who didn't even seem to flinch.
"Can we help you?" Alison asked coolly.
"Excuse me?" Maya snarled, raising her eyebrow.
"Oh, I'm sorry, you've just been staring at us ever since we sat down, do you have something to say?" Hanna asked, crossing her arms at the same time Alison did. It probably would've had a bigger effect if they weren't so hungover, although the sunglasses did make them look more intimidating.
"Staring at you? No, no. I've been staring at that delicious arm-candy over there," Maya said, lust dripping from her voise as she nodded her head towards Emily, who was busy typing away on her phone, oblivious to the three pairs of eyes currently on her. "Any idea how I could take her to my house? She looks she knows a few tricks in bed."
Alison felt her blood boiling at the girl's words and she saw red in her eyes. Hanna sighed because she knew what was coming next. "Oh, you're dead," Alison uttered lowly with vindictive eyes and nearly lunged toward Maya. Luckily, before she could place her hands on the waitress and do something she'd regret, strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind, holding her back from pouncing at the girl.
"Woah, babe, what's going on?"
Alison couldn't help but smirk at the sound of the pet name escaping Emily's lips. She could get used to this. She noticed that Hanna's face turned smug, as well. Spencer and Aria disappeared out of sight, probably off to the bathroom, missing the entire scene occurring.
"Babe?" Maya said, taken aback.
Emily looked at her in confusion, letting go of Alison who stood up straight, keeping her head high and displaying her Queen Bee status to the vile girl.
"What happened?" Emily asked concernedly, ignoring Maya's question.
"Sweet ol' Maya over here decided she wanted to get you between her sheets," Alison said between gritted teeth, stepping closer to Maya in a threatening manner.
"Me?" Emily asked nervously.
"Don't act surprised, gorgeous. You look like you have the full package," Maya said to her, winking seductively.
Hanna not-so-subtly coughed, "slut." She received chuckle from Alison.
"The package has already been delivered," Alison replied smartly to Maya.
"To who, may I ask?" Maya questioned, her voice dripping fake sweetness.
"Me," Alison smirked.
"Is that right?" Maya said, jealousy gradually radiating from her as she looked at Emily this time.
"Yes, it is," Emily spoke in confidence. She took a hold of Alison's hand, her protective instincts kicking in.
"But why be with her," Maya looked at Alison in disgust, receiving the exact same look from Alison. "When I'm offering you to be with me? Don't you wanna try something more... flavorful? Something better than this stuck-up barbie with the shiny heels?" she sneered as she gravitated towards Emily, now rubbing her hand up and down the brunette's arm.
"No, thank you, Maya," Emily retorted back, brushing her off, as if the girl's touch burned her skin. "And this 'stuck-up barbie' is the most beautiful girl I've even seen," the brunette pointed out heatedly, not noticing the swooning smile Alison directed her way. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't look at me like I'm some piece of meat, too," the swimmer continued boldly, "or any girl for that matter."
Emily hates those kind of people who treated women like they were some cheap trash, and it felt weird for her that Maya would look at other women like that, considering she was a woman herself. It was even more strange because Maya looked sweet, but apparently she sure as hell wasn't. Also, she didn't know the reason, but what was going on with everybody hitting on her nowadays? First Paige, then Maya, and not to mention Ali's been super touchy these past few days. Was it the new perfume she had bought? She doubted it.
"Let's get out of here, Em," Alison said, pulling her away. Emily nodded, shooting one more troubled look at Maya before allowing herself to be led away by her girlfriend.
"You've just been served. Emison style." Hanna got up in Maya's face in victory, before following her friends, leaving Maya with her mouth wide open.
They grabbed their stuff and met up with Aria and Spencer, who looked at them in confusion.
"Where are you guys going?" Aria asked in bewilderment.
"Explain later, grab your stuff and let's go," Alison said to them. She slammed money on the table, carefully not leaving a tip for Maya.
They all exited The Brew and walked away. "What happened?" Spencer asked.
Alison shortly explained everything to the two of them, from Maya's dirty comments to the way the blonde had lunged at her and the way Emily had saved the situation, like always.
"What a bitch," Aria frowned.
The girls stared at Aria in shock, since the girl wasn't known for her cussing. In fact, seeing her cuss was a pretty rare occasion.
"Let's just stay away from here. Being around her gives me the creeps," Hanna said with a scowl. The rest of the girls nodded in agreement.
They all made their way to Spencer's house where they could pass through the rest of their hangover without any problems.
They spent the rest of their day lazily watching movie marathons and complaining about their hangovers. Nobody interrupted them, and they simply enjoyed each other's company. At some point, they called the guys to check up on them as well and invite them to the Hastings household, but Ezra, Caleb and Toby hastily informed them that they were too off-of-it to come by.
When it was time to leave, Alison offered to walk Emily home, and they parted away from the girls, wishing them a quick recovery. They already felt ten times better, and the hangover was slowly fading.
"My mom's upstairs, if she'll see me like this, she'll freak," Emily panicked as they approached her house.
"How did you get in yesterday, then?"
"She had a late shift so she wasn't home," Emily explained with a shrug.
Alison stopped to think for a minute. "Okay, I have an idea. Come on."
They walked behind Emily's house to her backyard, careful to not be seen by Emily's mother, who was unmistakably home, judging by the car in the driveway. Once in the backyard, they reached a place where they could see Emily's window seat directly above them.
"What now?" Emily inquired.
"Over here," Alison pointed to a spot on the wall where you could place your foot to help you climb up. Emily's dad, Wanye, had built a simple woodshed in the backyard exactly four years ago, and by placing your foot in the exact spot and climbing it, you could get onto the shed and then easily advance to the window seat.
"Is this how you got in my room, that time when we were thirteen?" Emily asked in surprise.
"Yup, I discovered this the very first time I'd ever been to your house," Alison explained proudly.
"You always had an eye for these types of things... You could be the main character in that show about the stalker cyberbully we talked about," Emily commented, making Alison giggle.
The blonde then helped Emily up and onto the roof of shed, then climbed on it herself. They both reached Emily's window seat and then to the inside of her room, checking to make sure Pam wasn't there herself.
"Thank you for helping me, Ali," Emily smiled appreciatively.
"You're welcome, Em. I better go before your mom catches me here and wonders how I got in if not from the front door," Alison sighed and the brunette nodded in understanding.
"I'll call you later, okay? Go and get some rest," Emily said lovingly as she helped Alison climb out of the window.
"I will," she kissed the brunette softy on the lips, then made her way down and got to the ground safely a few moments later.
"And, Ali?" Emily called out from her window.
"Yeah?"
"One second," Emily disappeared for a moment, coming back with a shiny item in her hand. She threw the item to Alison who caught it without a problem. The blonde opened her hand to reveal a silver key.
"So you don't have to use this entrance every time," Emily smiled sheepishly, gesturing to Alison's impromptu entrance.
"Have I told you how much I love you?" Alison beamed at the thoughtful gesture.
Emily laughed lightly, "Yes, you have. I love you, too."
