CHAPTER NINE

Sakyja's Sweetening

2 weeks later*

It was July 2nd, Tae's birthday. Sakyja was just now getting out the shower, her towel wrapped around her body as the water dripped off her body.

9:52 am .

Sakyja decided to sit on the bed and air dry as her Alexa continued playing Brace Face by Rod Wave. She didn't have to be at the little get together thing until 1 so she had time to sit down. She probably wasn't going to be on time anyways. Who's ever black and on time? Exactly.

She laid back on the bed pulling her cover over her body and began swiping on TikTok.

Tiktok was such a great peaceful app to Ky. It had all type of different content on there to the point it never got dry or boring. Sometimes she could even find some of her word on Tiktok and she felt that was good. It's always time for God.

After laying in the bed for fifteen to twenty minutes, becoming too engaged and lost in the app, Ky decided it was time to get up and finish getting ready. It was ten twelve am and she still needed time to pick an outfit, get something to eat before she left out, and pick up Tae a gift for his birthday.

She probably shouldn't have been so nice and get him anything but she felt like it would be weird to show up to anyone's birthday plans empty-handed. It just wasn't right to her.

After grabbing the lotion off her dresser, Ky pushed some out into her hand, rubbing it in between her hands, and then all over her body.

She picked out her bra, placing it on before walking over to her bathroom. Grabbing the scented body oil off her bathroom

counter, she then began walking into the closet as she unscrewed the top and began rubbing it all over her body.

Twisting the top back on, Ky sat the roll of body oil onto a random rack in her closet and then started looking through her clothes hanging up.

She didn't know where to go dressy or to go chill. Half step and chill or really take it there? This was always a debate for her cause she was very simple but birthday outings deserve the most crucial pop out.

After swiping through what felt like a million pieces of clothing hanging up, she decided on a matching two piece crop and skirt set. It was a baby pink color and very fitted.

Pulling her clothes on her body, Ky walked out the closet towards her dresser, grabbing her vaseline. She always rubbed vaseline on after her body oils, when she wore them, because she felt like it just locked in the smells better. She would put a matching perfume on after but perfume just didn't last to her.

Ky finished getting ready, adding all her jewelry and finishes touches. She was now looking into the mirror, staring at her self, making sure everything looked good to her. She fluffed her hair out as she spoke out loud, going over her self check list.

"I switched my purses, ok. I got my lip gloss, card, a little cash too. Um I put deodorant on haven't I?" Ky spoke to her self looking through her purse then pausing looking off into the air.

"Let's just be sure." She spoke, grabbing her deodorant and rubbing it into her arm pits, hoping and praying it didn't get on her clothes any.

"Okay let's go."

Ky shut her light off and walked out her room closing the door. She headed downstairs doing her mental self check again. Leaving the house was always a traumatic experience for her becuase she was so forgetful. She'd forget her head if it wasn't sitting on her neck.

"Bye mommy. I'm about to go to that little thing I was telling you about with Saun." Ky spoke toher

mother looking at her play Monopoly Go.

"Okay mhm baby. I love you and be safe. Call me if you need anything." Her mom spoke back then reaching in and getting a hug from her daughter but never really pulling her eyes away from her game.

"Okay I love you too." Ky said, grabbing her keys out the bowl and leaving out the house, locking the door behind her.

As she got in, she placed her purse over into the passenger seat. She buckled herself in, making sure everything was good and set for her to safely drive. As she reversed out of her driveway, Headlines by Drake played. She started her drive over to the mall to pick up a gift for Tae.

Truth be told, she was a little nervous to go to this little get together. Her and Liy were still not speaking but they slightly interacted. They would view each other's social media posts and stories.

Plus they both would heart each others post and stories so it wasn't like it was as hostile as how it was when they first fell out. They weren't even watching each other's stories at all.

Ky was pretty sure Liy had her story on mute because she had hers on mute. When they was beefing, they did not want to see anything to do with the other or it was like instant irritation. They acted so much alike, it was insane.

Ky pulled into the parking lot of the mall, shutting her car off and grabbing her purse from the passenger seat then getting out. She pulled her skirt down looking at her reflection on her car then locking her doors and walking towards the entrance.

She didn't have a clue of what to get him. She had never even shopped for a man other than that one time she bought some juice for Isaiah. She was walking in there blind for real but God shall lead the way.

As she walked around in the mall, she kept looking at stores and the time. It was only 12:06 but time was still going so fast. She didn't understand where the time went.

12:43 pm.

As Sakyja walked into the line of Auntie Annie's, she heard someone yell. She didn't pay it any mind though because they couldn't be talking to her. Right?

"Aye baby. In the pink. Wasssuppp?" The dude said walking up to Ky, smiling.

The fuck?

"Wassup? Do I know you?" Ky asked him staring at him with her eyebrows furrowed.

He wasn't ugly. He was actually so handsome. He had a low cut with a nice hairline cutting across his forehead. He had some cute shiny earrings in his ears and he wore all black. He teeth was pretty too and his skin was clear besides the tattoos that covered his neck.

"Shit naw. I'm tryna get to know you though, fuck." He laughed, looking her up and down before licking his lips.

"Im okay, I'll pass on that sweetheart." Ky said respectfully, moving up in line.

"What's all this you got? A nigga can reimburse you baby. Come fuck with a real one, money ain't an issue."

"Things I picked up for my friend birthday today." Ky responded shortly, ignoring everything else he said. Money from a man wasn't an excitement for her, she made money her self.

"Aw that's wassup. You a good friend, look at all these different store bags. I know she love you." The boy responded looking at the different bags Ky had on her wrist.

"He. It's for a he."

"Aw nawe baby. Not you tricking on a nigga talm bout he a friend . I done tried to holla' at the wrong one." He laughed getting ready to walk off.

"It's not tricking if you got it. Have a good day sir." Ky said sarcastically and walking up to the counter ordering her regular cinnamon sugar pretzel bites with a lemonade.

She paid for her snack, getting her stuff then headed back towards the other end of the mall to get to her car. It was approaching 1 o'clock and she still had to drive all the way to Juke's crib. She was going to get some gift bags for the gifts but she decided it didn't even matter. The stuff was getting took out the bags anyways, bags served no genuine required purpose.

As she walked out the doors of the mall, she felt the heat hit her face making her let out a sigh.

"No reason on God's green earth it should ever be this hot dude." She spoke out picking up her pace, speed walking to her car. "It's too damn hot!"

Walking up to her car, Ky pulled her keys out of her purse, hitting the unlock button on her key fob. She tossed the bags into the backseat of her car and placed her drink into her cupholder. When her hands were finally free she rushed to crank up and turn her air on.

She sat there for a minute letting her self cool down and her car "boost up". She hated hopping in the car and just pulling off driving because she felt like that was really tiring on her baby.

After cooling down, getting her thoughts and mind together, she pulled off heading towards Juke's house. She knew where she was going so she could somewhat speed being that she was already late.

"Through The Storm" blasted through Ky's speaker and she sped through the neighborhood. She always waited until she was off main roads to drive recklessly. Other than some little bad kids running out in the street, she wasn't worried about any accidents. Even with that, her brake game was some serious.

She made the right onto the street and drove down a little before driving past his house and having to come back up. It was so many cars in the driveway, parked on the street, and even in his yard.

"Who would have thought Tae had all these friends? He so... eh." Ky spoke to herself still circling the block looking for somewhere to park.

As she kept driving, she felt her phone vibrate constantly on her lap making her look down and see Saun calling her.

"Hello?" She answered putting the phone on speaker then dropping it back in to her lap.

"Where the fuck is you at sister girlllll?" Juke slurred over the phone very loudly.

"Im here. I'm just trying to find somewhere to park. I think some more people in the neighborhood having a party cause it is packkedddd" Ky giggled.

"Should have been on t- Give me my fucking phone." Juke started but obviously getting cut off by Saun snatching his phone from him.

"Just come back up to the house, I'll park your car for you." Saun said.

"Okay, here I come." Ky responded before Saun hung up.

Sakyja pulled back up to the house seeing Saun standing in the yard talking to some dude. She rolled down her passenger window and called his name making him pause his conversation and walk over to her car. She put her car in park and grabbed all her stuff including Tae's gifts and got out letting Saun get in.

She watched as he pulled off , waving and smiling before turning around heading towards the house.

"Hey how you doin' ?" The boy Saun was talking to greeted Ky as he opened the door for her.

"Hey I'm good. Thank you." She said back walking into the house.

As she walked in, a lot of eyes turned to her. She guessed they heard the door squeak and creek open, even over the noisy noise.

"You is fucking bad." Some dude said making Ky's face warm up. "Come sit by me babymama."

"Thank you and okay." She said lowly. She would have usually not went but she could tell the boy was a little skittles and rainbows so she wasn't  uncomfortable by his comments.

"Your hair is so cute." Ky said looking at his low cut that was colored red which also matched his eyebrows. "Red looks good on your skin" She continued. Red always looked so good on darker skinned people to her.

"Thank you baby." He said blowing her a fake kiss before typing on his phone with his short black french tip nails.

"Where's Tae?" Ky asked all of the many people sitting and standing in the living room with her, somebody had to know where he was at.

"Looking for a nigga and ain't spoke to your friend." Jaliy mumbled.

She had seen Ky walk through the door and Ky also saw her but neither one of the bothered to speak. They both were expecting the other to come to their senses, admit their wrongs, and apologize but neither one felt they were wrong about anything.

"So nobody knows where Tae is?" Ky asked again, ignoring Jaliy's shady comment.

This wasn't the time to feed into any type of drama and cause a scene or ruckus. It was someone's birthday.

"I think he may be in the room still getting dressed. When every one came he was still sleep and said he was going to get up when he got fucking ready?" Juke said but kind of questioned also while hanging up side down from the couch.

"Laughing my ass off, okay." Ky laughed at him before getting up, grabbing the bags, and heading towards the room Tae usually chilled in.

Walking up to the door, she could feel nervousness take over her body and butterflies flood her stomach. Would he like his gifts? Would he be mean to her still? Even after her efforts? All these thoughts coursed through her mind as she prepared herself to knock.

"Whoever this is, you just gone stand there dumbass?" Tae asked before pulling the door open as soon as she lifted her fist to knock.

Tae had seen the shadow of feet at the bottom of the door for the last 2 or 3 minutes while he was lotioning down and putting his boxers on.

"Sorry. Here I got you something. Happy birthday." Ky spoke fastly, ready to drop the bags where she stood and jet away.

Tae looked down upon her with nothing but his boxers on, rubbing excess lotion in between his hands.

"Come on." He said moving out the way so she could come in the room and he could close and lock the door back. He didn't need all them people seeing him, he could already hear somebody walking close.

Sakyja walked in sitting the bags on the floor then standing over in the corner. She wanted to sit on the bed but he had all his stuff laid out and she didn't want to interfere with that.

"Here, come show me what you got me." He said walking into the restroom indicating he wanted her to follow.

Tae was only being nice because for one it was his birthday, he had "birthday energy" in him right now. Plus she had actually got him something, a lot of things actually. He appreciated that.

Ky grabbed the bags, sitting all but one on the side of the bathroom doorway. She pulled the shoebox out of of the bag as Tae grabbed his toothbrush.

"I be seeing you wear forces sometimes so I thought why not a new white icy pair?" Ky said showing him the shoes through the mirror before putting them back up.

"Then I got these regular degular Nike slides..." Ky continued on giving him a mini haul as he brushed his teeth, flossed, and gargled.

All his gifts were: forces, slides, black polo tees, white polo tees, and like 6 Nike shorts. She also bought him some candy and stuff that she was just going to steal later.

"Thank you. I preciate that." Tae nodded looking at her. He wanted to smile but he wasn't feeling that happy.

"No problem. It just would have felt wrong coming around you with no gifts. Like it's your birthdaaayyyyy." Ky dragged shrugging her shoulders into a dance.

Tae didn't have a response so he did his usual. He washed his face and put a little vaseline on as Ky stood in the mirror also fixing on her hair. She was taking up all the space, moving everywhere, trying to see every angle of her hair.

"Okay now move the fuck back." Tae said mugging.

"And he's back." Ky laughed fluffing her hair out again and walking out. She decided to move his stuff and lay on the bed. His mean ass would be okay.

She laid in the bed just staring off into space thinking about what she wanted to draw next since her new canvases and paint was on its way.

"You and Mera still together?" Ky randomly busted out as soon as Tae walked close to her.

"Why?"

"Just a question to ask."

"Aw."

"So?"

"What?"

"Y'all together?"

"Why you must want a nigga? Ion want you."

"No you're ugly and I didn't ask."

Tae just laughed reaching over her to get his clothes from the other side, making her body shudder as she looked up at him. She couldn't keep her eyes off his body and he still had only his underwear on.

Tae wasn't skinny but he wasn't fat either. He had a nice build and his skin was a darker brown tone. He did have what looked like acne scarring on certain parts of his body so it wasn't so even.

"You okay?" She asked as he just looked at her putting his clothes on.

He ignored her grabbing his phone and making his way out the room to go celebrate his birthday.

"Rude." Ky said getting up out the bed. She fixed it back up and headed out the door, shutting the light off on the way.

Sakyja didn't like Tae and Tae didn't like her but they always seemed to connect somehow. She felt he was so mysterious and that made her curious while Tae just thought that she was an annoying little kid he wouldn't be able to get rid of.

As Ky walked down the hallway slowly, head in her phone, someone bumped in to her making her body stumble back.

"Watch where the fuck you going." Jaliy said mugging.

"Girl you not talking to me. You want to beef so bad cause you know you were wrong for trying to control MY life." Ky mugged her back.

"Naw you just a dumbass." Jaliy said back.

"I won't be too many of those though." Ky said sizing her up, sliding her phone in her pocket.

"Ain't gone do shit about it so I guess you will." Jaliy laughed before turning around, starting to walk off.

"Wassup?" Ky asked right on the heels of her feet. Jaliy knew that's what irritated Sakyja the most, somebody talking shit and trying to walk off like they did something. That was the reason behind almost every single one of their physical fights.

As they walked back towards the living area, they continued bickering back and forth.

"Aye can y'all shut the fuck up? Damn." Saun said. He was tired of hearing they annoying voices go back and forth and being their big brother he was going to let them know.

"No cause she got me fucked up. I just be looking out for her and her ungrateful ass go and be dumb anyways. The- " Liy said before being cut off by Juke.

"What that mane just say?" Juke asked her, getting annoyed too because they was blowing his high. He was cross faded and feeling good and he didn't feel like hearing all that.

"Both of y'all apologize and sit the fuck down." Saun said. "Ion' care what y'all do when y'all leave here but right now? At my nigga birthday kickback? Y'all gone be best buddies and we finna turn up."

"I don't have to ap- " Ky started making Liy roll her eyes then point at her while looking at Saun in a "see what she do" gesture.

"Say you fucking sorry and come sit yo ass down." Tae grumbled out making chills run down Ky's neck while everybody eyed her.

"Im sorry. I know you just looking out for me." Ky sighed and smiled at her, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. Being without her only friend had really been taking a toll on her for the past few weeks.

"I accept your apology. I apologize as well because you're right it's your life and I can't control how you do things or what you choose to do." Jaliy said smiling back while reaching in for a hug.

They hugged each other before sitting down, Liy next to Juke and Ky on the same couch as Tae but a space in between then. Ky could have sat right next to him but she decided against it and just sat at the other end of the couch.

"Okay so shots for my sad bitches rekindling...Wait what's y'all names? I'm Drez." The same boy Ky sat by earlier spoke out.

"Ky And Liy." Ky introduced the both of them.

"Well Ky and Liy go get y'all some cups, we 'bout to turn up for my cousin birthday!!!" Drez yelled making Tae mug him but then smile and lock his phone. He was ready to get loose, he was always so locked up and focused. He could only ever get high cause it was something he could control and still be alert while doing.

"Get me a cup too." Tae spoke to Ky, reaching out and tapping the back of her leg before she walked too far off.

"Don't touch me." Ky said all seriously while a smile sat on her face that he couldn't see since her backside was turned to him.

She wanted to do him like he always did her but it really didn't bother Tae. He just smiled and nodded. He already knew what she was trying to do, why would he be upset? Even if she was actually serious, he still wouldn't give a fuck.

Ky came back with the cups giving Tae one and Liy one then sitting the rest on the table where all the liquor sat also.

"You not gone drink?" Drez asked making Ky shaker her head no.

"Naw, I'm okay I think."

Drez just shrugged before pouring everybody up. He wasn't gone force her, he didn't even play like that.

Everyone sipped out their cups and sang along with the loud music playing. All of the other people that came through Saun or Juke ended up leaving because they didn't want to get too messed up. They really just came to celebrate a friend of a friend for a while.

"It's so fucking hot dude." Liy sighed out while fanning herself.

"Ongod you not lying. Is it some AC in this muhfuga?" Saun said making everyone laugh except Juke.

"Nigga called it a muhfuga." Drez repeated while laughing.

"Naw why he talking like a nigga ain't got no condition? I got some condition, ongod I got some." Juke yelled while slurring, hopping up to turn his "condition" on.

He hopped up but fell right back down, tripping over Tae's leg.

"YOU FUCKING GIRAFFE" Juke yelled from the floor making everyone laugh. "Why you so FUCKING tall?" He continued while he was struggling to get up.

Sakyja just sat back watching everyone and laughing at them and getting on her phone every so often. She wanted to drink but the few times she did , she showed her ass.

Ky looked over at Tae as he talked about something then sipped from his cup. He scooted down into the couch holding his cup on his lap with a dumb smile on his face.

As she continued to look around and laugh at everyone's drunkness, she turned again back to Tae but this time he was already looking at her.

"C'mere" He slurred and smiled at her.

"No." She said trying to sound like him again.

Tae just shrugged before sitting up and reaching out to her. He pulled at her thigh, scooting her body closer to him.

"I just want you to taste it." He smiled swirling the cup around. "Hm. Open your mouth."

Ky looked into his eyes before opening her mouth like he told her to. He placed one of his fingers under her chin to push her head back before pouring the liquor into her mouth. She swallowed it down before clearing her throat from the heat of the drink.

"Y'all so cute bestieeeeee" Jaliy yelled, Drez yelling soon after in agreement.

"No cause literallllyyyyy. Ahhhh"

"We don't date." Ky spoke out against their comments.

Tae was so drunk. He was just staring at the walls smiling, and rapping G herbo to himself.

"That mane so damn drunk but that's okay because me fucking too." Saun laughed, pointing at Tae then himself.

"Yea my name G Herbooooooo" Tae rapped out while patting his leg.

Ky reached for his cup, taking 2 sips out of it. She could feel herself getting loose.

"I like nasty bitches." Tae said looking at Ky with a smile. " You nasty?" He grinned, side eyeing her.

Sakyja smiled back, barely hearing what he said. Her thoughts were some where else and she was focusing on getting her liquor down being that it was so strong and she had no chaser.

"Aw shiiittttttt. Somebody go lay this nigga down, he on one." Juke slurred from the floor flipping his body to the side.

"Bae scoot over, I wanna lay with youuu." Jaliy whined before sliding down the couch onto the floor with her man.

"Shit I want you." Juke said grabbing on her. "What we doing?"

"Come on let's go to the room." Jaliy smiled before kissing on his neck.

"Get there fast what the fuck?" Saun grumbled out and mugged. He hated seeing Jaliy be all affectionate with Juke cause in his head that was his blood little sister, Juke was his homie and brother. The thought just made him wanna crash out.

Saun also looked at Tae and Ky who were just smiling in each others faces, knowing they barely liked eachother. They had a weird friendship but hey that was their business.

"Im about to go to see my man my man my man. I had fun. Cous check your cashapp." Drez said all in one breath, getting up stumbling to the door.

"You can drive?"

"Baby I been doing this since I was 14, I got this." He laughed before walking out.

Now, it was just Saun, Tae, and Ky sitting in the living room. Saun was on the phone with some girl telling her to come get him before he passed out and Ky was rubbing through Tae's twists while he still drunk out of his cup.

"Im gone. My bitch with good neck is outsideeeee." Saun squealed, getting up and jumping in excitement. "Imma see y'all tonight still for that all nighter thing type shit."

"Ight. Be safe." Tae mumbled out, nodding his head at him before he walked out, locking the door behind him.

"You still talk to Mera or no?" Ky asked once again, watching Tae pull weed from his pocket.

"Why?" He answered before starting to roll up his blunt.

"Im just asking. I don't want to be around you if y'all do. That's just gone cause problems." Ky responded, her eyes scanning all over his face.

"Who said you gone be around me? I don't want you around me like that." Tae shrugged making Ky laugh before leaning up to get up.

Tae snatched her back down by the waist line of her skirt. Ky shuddered at the feeling of his hands being so low on her bare body. Nobody ever really touched her bare skin, not even Javier.

"Yeen got no panties on?" Tae asked looking into her face then looking back down at his wood.

Ky just stared at him in slight embarrassment but not too much being that she was intoxicated. She busted out laughing making Tae look at her with his face mugged up.

"You don't hear them?" Ky asked, still laughing referring to Liy and Juke. You could hear light moans and the bed hitting the wall.

"Yea they on one." Tae mumbled, focusing on folding his wood right so it could be pearled to perfection. "Lick this."

Tae held out his blunt to her so she could seal it for him. He would have did it but the taste of the kind he got wasn't really his favorite but that's all they had left at the store.

Ky looked at him while licking his wood then moving back so he could fold it. Tae just stared at her, letting his thoughts linger. She looked good doing that and it had him feeling some type of way.

"You got panties on?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"She need to breath."

"Let her." Tae nodded his head towards her crossed legs making her look down and uncross them.

"I like your hair like this. It make you look alright." Ky complimented his hair that was twists pulled into a bun.

" I don't talk to Mera no more." Tae said what seemed randomly to Ky.

"What you talking about?"

"You asked do me and her still date 2 times, naw we don't." Tae said patting his pockets for his lighter.

"That's good then. No mess for me. I like that." Ky shrugged.

"You the type I like mama." Tae smiled finding his lighter and lighting his wood.

"Huh?" Ky asked lowly, crossing her legs back.

"Just a song." Tae laughed. "Why you cross your legs?"

"Felt something." Ky responded vaguely not wanting to mention him calling her "mama" had her pouring like some juice.

"Let me feel."

"Here."

Tae just looked at her shocked before chuckling and nodding.

"That's how you coming?" Tae laughed before bringing his wood to his lips and pulling from it.

"I can show you how I'm cumming." Ky slurred out.

Ky had been eyeing Tae for the longest. She just "didn't like" him because of his ex girlfriend and how he acted sometimes. He was handsome to her though and she wouldn't mind him right now. She wanted to let loose a little, she had been living all locked up and scared and it was beginning to be so depressing.

"Let's go to the room." Tae struggled to get out his words before putting his blunt out and sliding it into his pocket before picking Ky up putting her over his shoulder.

He walked her to the room listening to her giggle and moan as she rubbed on her butt. He was trying his best to keep it together. He wouldn't feel right dogging her shit how he wanted to without them being in a relationship or some type of serious.

Opening the door, he plopped her on the bed before walking into the bathroom to get his thoughts together. He couldn't be around her right now or he was bound to have her walking funny for 2 to 3 business days.

After 2 minutes of hearing laughing and giggles from Ky, it went silent. Tae thought she'd maybe fallen asleep and he was finally cool. He walked out the bathroom only to see Ky standing up, bent over the bed rocking back and forth.

"Fuck is you doing? Chill." Tae grumbled at her walking towards her.

Ky threw her hips back, her bottom meeting with his lower region making him groan and rub his hand down his face.

Tae pulled at her skirt, lifting it up looking down at Ky's bare private part. He could see a clear liquid glistening on her with every move she made.

"Finger fuck me like da cassssh-" Ky mumbled out, quoting Yung Bleu before getting cut off by an actual finger entering her.

"Mhmhm" Tae laughed at her face as he twisted his middle finger around in her earning light gasps from her. "You wanted this right?"

"Yesss. Dream come true." Ky lowly spoke, moaning soon after.

"Aw fr?" Tae asked actually remembering that time she was telling everybody about her dream and plunging in out of her now.

"Yessss Tae." Ky said grabbing his wrist.

"Move your fucking hand Sakyja." Tae said, yanking her hand away then going even faster.

"You move your hand Se'antae." Ky said turning around mugging him.

"I like when you say my name." Tae said looking at her body rock back and forth onto his finger. He wanted to add another one but she was already so tight, he didn't want to hurt her.

"Say it again."

"No."

"What I say?"

"I don't know. What you say?"

Tae just laughed at her before pulling his finger out and sticking it into his mouth as she flipped her body over so her back hit the bed.

She started at him before reaching for his wrist bringing his finger up to her lips and pushing it into her mouth.

After five seconds of feeling her tongue glide over his finger and staring into her eyes, he pulled his finger out and chuckled. Tae walked into the bathroom, washed his hands, and grabbed his phone. He left out the bathroom before leaving out the room as well.

This left Ky laying on the bed puzzled and confused. They had just had a moment now he was just upping and leaving her, leaving her with feelings she couldn't ignore.

At first she for surely didn't like Tae but now she was uncertain. The whole day her mind and body just gravitated towards him and she didn't know why. She didn't know how to stop it or even just control it a little.

Ky felt butterflies every time he looked at her, especially if he was standing looking over her. She felt chills when his voice boomed at her and she felt what felt like her heart pounding out her chest every time he touched her.

Plus now with them having been so intimate, she felt like she had to gain some type of understanding even if it was something she wouldn't like.

The door opened knocking Ky out her thoughts. She looked up seeing Tae with a water bottle in his hand and a bag of chips.

"Hm. Try to put that on your stomach so you won't be quick to throw up." He said passing her the water bottle and chips.

It seemed he had sobered up so fast from his drunkness while Ky was barely making it. She had to remind herself to even just breathe.

"Thank you." Ky mumbled, avoiding eye contact with him.

Tae walked to the other side of the bed, laying down with his back turned towards her.

"Se'antae."

"Wassup?"

"What are we now?"

"Nothing."

His answer made Ky's heart drop as she twiddled get fingers even faster than before.

"What do you mean? That just means nothing to you?"

"I never said that. You asked a question and I answered." He said all harshly.

"Well I'm asking another one." Ky said laying down fully in the bed, voice laced with attitude.

"Leave it alone Kyja."

"K."

Ky just shrugged a few times trying to convince her self she felt no way about the way he was acting and responding to her. In actuality, her head was spinning, she wanted to cry and yell, and she was hurt.

But she chose this right? She decided to let it get this far all because she wanted to feel a certain thing. She had to deal with it.

Ky sniffled and wiped the few tears that fell from her eyes before huffing and getting under the covers with the ass hole she shared the bed with.

"Don't be pulling all this cover." Ky said just wanting to hear his voice again.

Instead of a response, it was just silence.

She sighed before pulling her knees to her chest and just thinking herself off into a deep sleep.
