CHAPTER TEN

Sakyja's Sweetening

"Wake up."

"Wake up Ky." Jaliy said again trying to wake Ky up for what seemed like the thirteenth thousandth time.

"Im up, what?" Ky responded softly, trying hard to push her words out her mouth. Her throat was so dry.

"Get up, everybody in the living room eating and stuff waiting on you." Liy said pulling the covers off her friend.

"Liy move it's coollddddd." Ky whined reaching to pull the covers back over her, only for Liy to go and pull them even further back.

"Get up."

"Okay okay." Ky said hopping out the bed real fast, getting it over with, so her thoughts wouldn't try to convince her to lay back down.

Ky walked to the restroom with Jaliy following behind her.

"Soooo..." Jaliy said watching Ky sit on the toilet and take care of her business.

"Soooo whaattttt?" Ky mimicked her, pulling tissue off the roll and wiping her self really good.

"You and Tae had sex?" Jaliy blurted her question out.

"No." Ky responded vaguely, getting off the toilet and flushing before walking to the sink and washing her hands.

Jaliy had just reminded her of the whole situation and now her mood was once again blew.

"I heard your little moans and him saying move your handdd." Jaliy squealed out.

"How you even hear all that? I wasn't even loud." Ky laughed.

"I was at the door about to ask Tae where you went since I didn't see you in the living room and yea."

"He fingered me." Ky shrugged.

"What? Did it hurt ? How was it? Did you like it? Why? Wait whattt?!?" Jaliy rambled on. She knew they had did something but now that Ky had told her out her own mouth, it had Jaliy all discombobulated.

"Yes. A little. It was so good. I loved it. Because I wanted him to and yea." Ky answered all her questions, a smile on her face with the memory of what happened fresh on her mind.

"Wow bestie. I can't believe you, I'm so happy for you. I'm glad you're not locking yourself away as usual because I know how that used to bother you. Especially after Osama." Jaliy smiled, reaching for a hug.

Some people may feel that it was a weird thing to celebrate or be proud of but Jaliy knew how Ky was and how much of "let loose" this was for her.

Ky hugged Liy back before using some of Tae's mouth wash to freshen up before going around the rest of them talking and stuff.

After rinsing her mouth, she walked out the bathroom and back into the room. It was really Tae's room because every time he came to Juke's house, it was the room he was in. He had clothes and shoes in the room and everything else.

Ky rummaged through this drawers looking for something to put on. She really didn't think her day through with putting on this set with no underwear. It was so cold too.

She continued to look through his stuff before grabbing some grey joggers and an old black polo tee with some black ankle socks.

She slipped the joggers on and tightened the string on them. They fit around her butt but that was about it. They were loose on her skinny legs and definitely loose around her waist. They would have to do though.

She pulled the shirt over her head and fixed it up by tying it up in the back so it could be a crop top. She pulled at it some until she liked the look then pulled her necklace out of the shirt, laying it on the outside.

She sat on the bed and sighed. She hated getting dressed, it seemed like it drained so much energy out of her. Ky sighed again as she pulled the socks on before getting up and stretching.

"Im done and ready." She said to Jaliy who was sitting on the bed, on her phone, as she folded up her skirt set and sat it neatly on the bed.

"Okay c'mon." Jaliy said standing up but not pulling her eyes away from her phone.

"You look cute in his clothes." She complimented, finally looking away from whatever had her so intrigued on her phone.

"Thank you. They so big it feel like." Ky said looking down at her body, pulling one leg of the joggers out showing Jaliy all the space that was in them.

"They are on the bigger side but they fit you perfectly somehow." Jaliy giggled before grabbing Ky's hand and speed walking out the room. She was supposed to been got Ky up and to the living room, it was taking forever.

"Liy slow down." Ky said trying to keep up.

"My bad bae. Im ready to gone sit up under my man. I know you are too." Jaliy laughed as the walked in the living room with the others.

Ky scanned the room before her eyes fell on Tae. He was all slouched into the couch with a blunt in his left hand and his phone in his right. She could see him scroll from left to right and right to left on his home screen, doing nothing in particular.

"Finally she has awoken." Juke announced like a reporter making Ky look at him and giggle. That must of caught Tae's attention cause she could feel eyes on her from his direction.

"Yes Im up!" Ky said twirling in a circle like she was the main character in a Disney movie.

"You ate?" Saun asked her.

"Some chips." Ky answered thinking about how she woke up out her sleep and ate her Cheetos then rubbed her dirty fingers on Tae's clothes while he was knocked out. He had her fucked up.

"That's it? What you want to eat?" Saun asked her with his eyebrow raised. It was eight something o'clock and she had only had chips to eat the whole day.

"Yea and it doesn't matter. Whatever y'all get, I'm cool with eating."

"McDonald's. I want some fresh fries." Jaliy said basic reading Ky's mind cause that's exactly what she wanted even though she said it didn't matter.

"Yea with some honey mustard and a large orange hi-c juice." Ky said fantasizing about her food and how it would taste.

"I want a fofofo scrawburry leemnay bar-que sauce." Juke busted out with his order making Saun ball his face up at him.

"You clearly heard McDonald's, why you talm bout Wendy's?" Saun said looking at him crazy.

"Double-dash it bitch." Juke said licking his tongue out before ducking from the shoe Saun threw at him.

"I said please." Juke smacked his lips and sighed.

"Tae what you want?" Saun asked looking over at Tae who was zoned out from being high as hell.

"Want from what want?" Tae stumbled out before rubbing his hands down his face.

"Nigga what?" Juke busted out laughing. "Aye you need to put the dope down, immediately." He continued, reaching for the dead blunt in his hand and sitting it in the ashtray on the coffee stand next to him.

"Im trippin', my bad." Tae laughed before sitting up on the couch. "Just give me 6 spicy nuggets from Wendy's with some honey mustard."

"Okay I gotcha I gotcha." Saun said before adding it in his cart.

"You got you something Bubba? Make sure you eat." Ky spoke out to him.

"I got some lil sis, I'm cool." Saun responded before lightly smiling, in his head of course.

"Tae you seen the birthday post your girl made you?" Saun spoke out again, laughing.

"What post? What girl?" Ky thought to herself fighting the urge to snap her neck towards him.

"Fuck is you talking about?" Tae asked sitting up ready to look at Saun's phone.

"Look. Right here." Saun said turning the phone towards him.

"What the fuck? That gotta be illegal." Tae said staring at the phone in pure disbelief with his hand on his face.

"Nigga like illegal." Juke said laughing even tho Tae was dead serious.

"That bitch gotta be committed to somebody crazy house." Tae said sighing.

Sakyja just sat quiet on her phone, looking at the post, reading the paragraph over and over again.

She went to stalk on Mera's page after seeing the picture of her and Tae she posted.

Ky couldn't believe her eyes. Mera really had posted them but let Tae tell it, they wasn't talking. How did she fall dumb again? Matter of fact where did all these feelings for Tae even come from?

"Ky!" Jaliy called after her, getting up walking after her as she speed walked out the front door. She needed some air because she felt like she was about to pass out.

Tae looked up watching her frame storm out the house before looking down at his lap. He so badly wanted to not care as usual but he felt different.

"Go check on her nigga." Juke said looking at Tae who looked stressed.

"Why? Ion owe her shit." He spat out, pushing his feelings to the back of his gut and slouching in the couch. "Don't even know why she mad and I couldn't honestly give a fuck."

Everybody just stayed quiet not knowing how to respond. When Tae got in his moods, it was nothing you could really say to lighten the mood. He was such a grumpy person.

Ky strolled back through the door with a smile on her face before plopping back on the couch, leaving everybody confused except Jaliy who was also weirdly smiling.

"When does the food get here? I saw a car circling the block like they was lost or some, it might be the dasher." Ky said making everybody frown at her.

"If a car circling the block, you run yo lil ass in the house." Juke said to her before looking over at Jaliy and saying the same thing. "Run in the fucking house, ya hear me?"

"Yes."

"The food at the door." Saun said making Ky run to go get it, she was practically starving.

Ky grabbed the bags and things from off the chair that sat on the porch before bringing it in and sitting it on the dining table.

"This is mines and this is mines." Ky said rummaging through the bags trying to find the fullest fry, also grabbing some out of the other carts and eating them.

"You greedy as fuck." Jaliy said pushing her back and laughing.

"So? I'm feeding two." Ky joked but earning a look from Tae making her chuckle in her head.

"Hm. Here go your honey mustard." Saun said passing Ky her sauces. After she grabbed them, she grabbed the rest of her food and headed back towards the couch where she was sitting.

"Let's play a game." Jaliy said after all of them sat down with their food and Juke passed Tae his food.

"A game like what?" Saun asked.

"Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever, Hot Seat, all that." Liy named out before stuffing her face with fries.

"Bet."

"Im down with it."

"Don't be on no bullshit bra."

Everybody agreed to play the games so they began. It started off with Jaliy asking Juke a hot seat question.

"Have you ever thought about any one else sexually since we started talking?" Jaliy asked furrowing her eyebrows putting on her "serious" face.

"Damn fresh out. She didn't play no games or do no waiting." Saun laughed making Ky laugh as well.

"No. I only like that box." Juke said smiling at her but making everyone else gag.

"Nigga I'm is eating." Tae said mugging him.

"Anyways you next since you wanna talk. Tae my boyyyyy" Juke started making Tae sigh and laugh. "Have you ever cracked some shit outside?" He continued laughing at the face Tae made at the question.

"Like in the car? Or like outside, outside?" Tae asked doing a slight gulp.

"Shid answer both now."

"In the car? Fa'shit sho. I dogged Mera shit so many times in her mama buick." Tae shrugged while Saun and Juke cracked up. Tae sat with no expression because he seen no joke, he was serious.

"Outside? Kind of. I had her bent over her Dad grill one time. That's it." Tae continued making the two boys erupt into even harder laughter.

"Not on the grill? You was cooking her shit bro?" Juke said before hollering and getting up, running away.

"Y'all done?" Jaliy said, a bored look sitting on her face. Her and Ky shared the same look. Ky held an unamused look on her face as she swirled her straw around in her iced juice.

"Yea. Tae go." Juke said cutting his laughter off quickly and abruptly, noting the look on his ole lady's face.

"Ion got no question for nobody so I can get a dare or some shit." Tae shrugged.

"Ummm let me see. I dare you to call your 7th recent caller and tell them you had fun last night." Jaliy said giggling.

"Let me see who it be first." Tae said scrolling through his call log. "Fuck hell damn shit NO."

"Who is it?" Jaliy said laughing.

"Mane im just not doing that shit." Tae said locking his phone and dropping it on his lap.

After like 3 mins of debating, everybody agreed that if they chooses dare they had to follow through with the dare given to them.

With that being said, Tae pressed Mera's contact and let it ring as it was on speaker. Ky looked at his phone before crossing her arms and rolling her eyes and going to her call log as well.

"Hello?" Mera answered, making Jaliy's face fall flat.

"Bye." Tae spat out. He couldn't bring himself to act like he fucked with Mera, dare or not.

Ky got up, leaving her spot on the couch to go stand in the kitchen and talk to whoever she was on the phone with.

The games went on without her which was mostly just hot seat questions, truths, and never have I evers.

📍kitchen

"Im just trying to figure out why you all of a sudden texting me telling me to call you and stuff. You barely ever wanna talk to a nigga." Javier said over the FaceTime call as Ky watched him drive.

"I don't know how many times I have to tell you that I just wanted to hear your voice." Ky said, telling a complete lie as she looked off into the distance. She heard whistling, she liked the sound of whistling.

His voice was actually irritating her a pretty bit much but she was pushing through to explore her options.

"I miss you shorty." Javier said sighing and rubbing one of his hands down his face in stress.

Tae.

"Keep your hands off your face like that while you driving, it's dangerous." Ky said as an excuse but really wanting him to stop because that's what Tae did and she didn't want to be reminded of him.

"Okay my fault. I said I miss you tho." Javier repeated.

"I miss you too." Ky said putting on her fake smile.

"Oh you do?" A voice boomed at her making her look up really quickly, only for eyes to meet with a grey Nike Tech jacket. A grey Nike Tech that Tae was wearing.

Tae reached for her phone before yanking it out her hand and slamming it towards the wall behind her making her body jump as her eyes shut tightly.

"Fuck is you on right now? What's to you?" Tae asked, yelling in her face as she looked down at her fingers. She twiddled them, having no answer in thought for his question.

"Really just got on the phone with yo pussy ass ex tamnbout you miss him?" Tae said laughing, picking up her phone from the floor.

"You got on the phone with yours." Ky said shrugging and reaching to grab her phone from his hand.

"It was a dare you dumb ass broa-" Tae spat out at her before cutting himself off. "You a real dumbass. This bitch ain't broke enough." Tae said laughing again looking at the phone before slamming it again.

Ky stood there with tears weld in her eyes. All she could think about was her phone and the way Tae stood over her, yelling in her face also had her feeling uneasy.

"Cho dumbass in the car." Tae said slamming the keys to his car on the counter before hiking his pants up and walking off.

"I drove my- " Ky started off, grabbing his keys and walking after him.

"Sakyja... get the fuck from behind me and in the car before I really jaw you in your shit." Tae grumbled not even turning around to look at her.

That name call alone made Ky turn fast on her heels and start walking towards the door. She was getting ready to head out right before she heard Juke say something to Jaliy.

"Aht aht. Sit yo ass down. Tryna sneak out and shit at your big age. Get out them folks business." Juke said laughing, making Liy huff and sit back down.

"That's my best friend. Been my best friend since before what ever they got going on. I think she my business too." Jaliy said, snapping her neck but quickly stopping after peeping the look he was giving her.

Ky just continued out the door and hit the horn button on Tae's key fob so she could see which car was his.

A challenger,charger,mustang, or whatever it was went off making Ky walk towards it. She wasn't good with all the knowledge of cars. She just knew Tae's car was one of the fast ones.

Ky opened the door and sat in the passenger seat with her hands in her lap and staring straight forward. She was trying to look nonchalant to mask how nervous she really was.

She didn't even know what made her honestly and truthfully call that boy but she needed to be thinking of a lie before Se'antae came walking out that door.

"Speak of the devil." Ky thought as she looked out the window seeing Tae walk through the door, on the phone with somebody.

Tae walked to the car and snatched the door open before getting in and slamming it closed. He just stared at the wheel listening to whoever was on the phone.

"I know Ma. I don't do that no more." He said sighing with a mug of contempt present on his face.

"I don't have to make money right now, I saved so much that I'm just coolin'. "

"What the fuck do I have to lie for?" He spat out before rubbing his hands down his face.

"Im sorry."

"Yes I know you not one of my little friends."

"And you brought me in this world, you can take me out." Tae said sarcastically before busting out laughing.

"I love you too ma."

"No you be safe." Tae said before hanging up the phone with a smile on his face.

Tae looked over at Ky and his smile instantly dropped. He was so pissed at her right now it was unreal.

"You don't have to look at me like that." Ky said rolling her eyes.

"Shut the fuck up talking to me." Tae said aggressively but Ky didn't care, she kept talking.

"You the one looking at me. Shut the freak up looking at me?" Ky spat back out, mugging him up and down.

"You really don't know when to shut up? Even when you dead fucking wrong?" Tae said looking at her before looking back at the road.

"How am I wrong? You said we wasn't nothing, I acted on it. Ion owe you shit." Ky said now getting irritated remembering what he said before they went to sleep.

"You rubbed cheeto dust on my clothes." Tae said turning to mug her before looking at the road again.

"That's not even what we talking about."

"So I said that? That don't mean you go and talk to niggas, thot." Tae spat out.

"That's exactly what that means. We don't owe each other nothing so I'm going to continue to talk to whomever I would like." Ky said all softly in a nonchalant tone.

"With what phone?"

"You gone buy me another one. Nobody told you touch my things."

"I'm not."

"You are."

"Ongod I'm not."

"Okay." Ky started before snatching his phone out his lap and rolling the window down.

"Sakyja."

"Se'antae."

"Give me my shit." Tae said as he clenched his jaw trying to focus on driving but watch his phone out his peripheral vision as well.

"Are you going to replace my phone you broke?" Ky asked smartly.

"No."

"Oops." Ky said sarcastically as she chunked his phone out the window while they were on the express way.

"Im finna beat the shit out you Kyja." Tae said aggressively, now speeding to get off the highway.

"I'm going to beat you back." Ky shrugged, opening his arm rest to see if he had some food. She was hungry again, those fries didn't fill her as usual.

"We finna see. On god we bout to." Tae said laughing, stopping at the red light.

"Whatever." She said grabbing his blue frooties and beginning to eat them.

"Then you all in my shit." Tae said reaching to snatch them but Ky hurried and moved them.

Tae made a sharp right then a sharp left and continued to speed down the street. He pulled up to a nice looking house and aggressively hit the brakes to put the car in park making Ky fly forward

"Not even necessary." She said pulling down the mirror and looking at her face to make sure she had no bruises.

"Why you do that dumb ass shit?" Tae asked Ky turning around to look her directly in her face.

"What dumb ole stuff?" She asked turning towards him as she unraveled another frootie.

"Don't fucking play with me." Tae said mugging her.

"Oh. I know what you are talking about." Ky laughed, popping the candy into her mouth.

"You broke mines first. Should have thought about the consequences that would come after your actions."

"I was going to get you another one Kyja." Tae sighed.

"I asked you that, you said no. Start telling the truth, a lot of things wouldn't happen." Ky shrugged.

"C'mere." Tae said eyeing her up and down making her heart instantly start beating faster.

"Why?" She asked getting ready to eat another piece of candy. It was no stopping with frooties, you just keep eating until they were all gone.

"Mane put that candy down before your teeth fall out in your sleep and come here." Tae said laughing.

Ky dropped the bag of candy into the cup holder before climbing over the center console and sitting on Tae's right leg.

"What?" Ky asked with an attitude making Tae laugh.

"Im gone get you a new phone, mama. Be cool." Tae said holding her hand in his hand.

"It's not even all about that. You said we were nothing and did all that when it was time for me to talk to some one else. Why? That's not even fair." Ky said looking in his face. He had a big nose.

Tae huffed out and began shaking his head.

"I don't know." He said.

"That's not an answer but okay." Ky said before turning to get back in her seat. Tae snatched her back making her sit down.

"It's like I like you but I can't be with you. I don't want you with nobody else though." He said looking her in her eyes making her look down at her lap.

"Why you can't be with me?"

"I got a baby."

"Oh."

"Yea I don't want to put you in that. You too young bra."

"Hell yea." Ky said nodding her head aggressively.

"You do too much, I was just talkin'." Tae laughed, pushing her a little bit.

"You don't play like that." Ky said laughing a little too. "Why though?"

"I do illegal things. I'm not gone be able to be there for you like you need me to be or how you probs expecting." He said looking into her face for some type of reaction.

"Well if you knew all that, why do so much when I'm trying to move on from you and live my life?"

"Cause youn do no shit like that." He said mugging her.

"Im not going to sit around and just wait on you. You want me to just be available for you and you only but don't really want to take me serious? That sounds so dumb." Ky said rolling her eyes.

"I'm going to get you a new phone tomorrow and after that I'll leave you alone." Tae said.

"Ok."

Tae and Ky got out the car and walked up to the house. Tae unlocked the door and let Ky walk in first before closing it and locking it behind them.

"This your house?" Ky asked looking around.

"Yea."

"No like this is yours? Not your mama's who out of town or nun?" Ky said looking at him.

"It's mine Kyja." Tae said laughing. "Here go my room. You can sleep in here and I'll sleep on the couch. It's not beds in the other rooms." He said showing her to the back of the house where his room was.

"We can sleep together Se'antae. It's so pretty in here." Ky said looking at the all black room.

"Ok. It's some clothes in that drawer right there you can put on after you take a shower. You can just put the ones you got on right now, in this basket. I have to wash." He said showing her the things.

"Thank you." Ky responded but not getting a response from Tae but instead just seeing him walk out.

Ky stripped out of her well his clothes and put them in the basket he told her to before walking in the bathroom and turning on the shower.

She walked back out the room seeing him on the other side of the bed crouched down plugging something up.

He stood back up turning around and his eyes met with Ky's. Soon after his eyes trailed her body as she stood there with her arm placed over her small boobs and her hand over her private.

"Tae."

"Taeee." Ky called out for what felt like the 7th time.

"Hm?"

"I need some towels."

"I gotcha." He said forcing himself to break his stare from her body and leave go into the closet.

"Hm." He said handing her a face towel and a body towel.

"Thank you." She said as she grabbed them and headed into the bathroom, getting into the shower, leaving the door open in case he had to get anything out of his bathroom.

Tae watched her until she was no longer in his sight and then walked over to his dresser. He grabbed out some underwear and left to go into the other bathroom to take a shower also.

The two had both gotten out of there showers and was now in the room moisturizing their bodies.

Tae sat on the bed in his underwear as he applied coco butter lotion all over his legs and feet and then put on some socks.

"Can you put this on my back? I'll put some on yours." Ky asked picking up the lotion.

Tae didn't respond and instead just pumped some lotion out in his hands and rubbed them together to warm it up and started to massage it into her back.

Ky held her boobs with her eyes closed as she enjoyed her massage. It felt so good and well needed even though she barely even did anything that put stress onto her back.

"Okay your turn." Ky said stopping him to do his while she threw on one of his shirts really quick.

She had on a black shirt of his and some ethika underwear. She had also put some of his deodorant on to make sure she stayed fresh.

"You smell like me." Tae said laughing as he layed on the bed on his stomach looking for something to watch on tv.

"Rather that than musty right? Exactly." Ky said sitting on his butt so she could massage his back.

Tae clicked through Netflix trying to find something to watch as Ky kneaded her fist in to his back.

"See if they have Criminal Minds on here." Ky said watching him continue to press over and over.

Tae went to the search bar and began typing Criminal Minds into it. He typed in the whole name since it wouldn't pop up with the first few letters and it was still no look.

"Naw they don't have it on here, mama." Tae said to her making her sigh.

"Do you have Disney Plus?" She asked, hoping he said yes.

"Yea. I don't know why tho. I don't even barely watch the shit. Kaisen don't no more either." He responded earning an eyebrow raise from Ky.

"You said you was just playing about having a baby." Ky said, voice laced with confusion.

"That's my nephew."

"Oh okay my bad."

"What you want to watch on here?" He asked now clicking through Disney Plus.

"Phineas and Ferb." Ky squeaked out in excitement.

Tae went to the search bar and began searching for the show. He only had to type in the P and H before it popped up.

He pressed on it, soon after feeling Ky rock back and forth on him.

"Stop all that wiggling on my butt bra." He said mugging even though she couldn't even see his face.

"Im sorry." She said going back to rubbing his back and neck.

After about 5 mins, she worked up an appetite. She wanted the the rest of her frooties.

"Tae." Ky called out but didn't get a response.

"Tae." She called out again.

"Se'antae." She said shaking him a little as best as she could.

"What mama?" He said groggily indicating he was sleep.

"Nothing, nevermind. Go back to sleep." She said feeling bad for waking him up.

"Let me know what you need." He said lowly then  putting his head down on his arms.

"Okay I will, I don't need anything right now." Ky responded, grabbing a pillow from the top of the bed and making him put his head on it instead of his arms. She began rubbing his back again to get him to go back to sleep.

After while, Ky could hear snores letting her know that he was now in a deep sleep and she could stop. So that's what she did.

She laid down also, her cheek pressed against his back as she listened to the tv with her eyes closed. She grabbed the cover, covering them both up. Soon after she fell asleep as well with her arms wrapped around his body.
