"Im just saying Liy. It seems like we was just in tenth grade yesterday." Ky laughed at them talking bout the bitter sweet moment of graduation coming up.

It was only February 10th but the way time was always flying by she knew graduation would be there in no time.

The two continued caking on the phone as they twiddled their toes in their boyfriend's bed. It was Friday afternoon. They had gotten out of school no longer than an hour ago and rushed to spend the weekend with their mans.

Jaliy and Sakyja had made the agreement to use during the week spend more time with eachother and the weekends with their boyfriends. The schedule also rotated so at some point they could have the weekend to themselves also.

"I'm going to get off the phone bestie. Juke is getting on my last damn nerve asking me to rub his back." Jaliy said loudly really wanting Juke to hear her shading him as she mugged.

"Okay bestie lolsies. I love you!" Ky said ready to hang up also.

"I love you too!" Jaliy said before starting to bicker back with Juke.

Ky just laughed and hung up the phone before turning her attention to the hallway. Tae had been in the shower but she heard it turn off not too long ago.

Tae never showered with the door closed because he hated being locked in the bathroom with all that steam so she heard everything.

"Ky!" Tae yelled walking down the hallway with his towel around his waist.

"Why are you yelling fat man?" Ky giggled before leaning up and crawling to the edge of the bed so she could touch his little stomach.

"Man move" Tae laughed after feeling her poke inside his belly button.

"Okay you don't got to love me no more." Ky fake pouted, crossing her arms with her lip poked out.

"You love me?" Tae asked teasing with her.

A month ago Sakyja woke up out her sleep kissing Tae all over his face and saying she loved him. She claimed she didn't remember the encounter but everytime he asked did she mean it, she answers neither yes nor no.

"Don't start SeAntae!" Ky said getting up to get her iPad off the charger.

"Now it's that." Tae laughed. He knew she wasn't going to admit it because she felt like he turned her down when she said it originally. Truth be told, Tae was just sleep and unknowing of what was going on in that moment. He didn't actually process the encounter until literal days later.

Of course SeAntae loved her. They were good friends before anything. They always talked to each other no matter the situation or circumstance. They knew they could count on each other to vent to. They shared priceless memories together. They shared each other's darkest secrets. Everything was so heart warming between them.

Although all of that, Tae wasn't sure if he loved her on a relational level. He had dated many and he couldn't say he really ever loved any one of them. He didn't trust anyone. He didn't trust no female to not to cheat on, lie to, or just be disloyal to him. He couldn't say he loved someone on that serious of a level without even trusting them. He just couldn't.

"Man I'm hungry. You hungry doll?" Tae asked Ky.

He now called her doll cause he swore she looked like the perfect Barbie doll. He also wanted something original and unique for her instead of mama because every one called their ladies that he felt. He still called her mama though because Ky just loved it so much, she would never let him stop comfortably.

"A little." Ky rubbed her stomach.

"What you want? American Deli?" Tae mugged already knowing she wanting them little ass wings.

"Wow!! How'd you know ?" Ky said actually shocked.

"That's all yo ass ever want. It's ridiculous. Then they wings be so little. A nigga like me a need a 30 piece." Tae said genuinely irritated he had to eat there. He wasn't gone tell his Ky no though so he sucked it up, ready to call in the order.

"You riding?" Tae asked after hanging up the phone.

Ky just pulled the covers back showing she was in her bra and boy short underwear. That let him know she was super cozy and not going anywhere.

"Igh. Imma be back okay?" Tae said waiting on her to respond. He knew she hated being by herself in his house cause she just never knew who knew him and how they felt about him. Ever since that dream, Ky just started being extra precautious. She felt that dream had to have some type of truth to it.

"Okie." Ky said popping her pinky into her mouth and continuing to intently watch her cartoons.

She was watching "The Whining" episode of Jessie. For her to be such a scary cat, she loved everything about Halloween. She had just finished Gravity Falls and once she watched all the Halloween episodes on Jessie, she was going to move forward to watching Girl Vs. Monster.

As time went on, Ky got bored with just sitting watching tv. She decided to get up and clean her boyfriend's room.

She put his tv on YouTube playing Loveeeeee by Rihanna and Future. She loved her some soft r&b songs while cleaning. After waiting for the timer to count down so she could skip the ad, Ky finally skipped the ad before starting off with his basket of unfolded clothes.

It wasn't nowhere near dirty in his room, just messy. She could tell his wash day had just passed looking at the clothes with dryer sheets still in them. The basket wasn't overly full though so she knew he kept up with washing regularly so his clothes wouldn't over accumulate.

"They didn't have to eat on this song like this." Ky shook her head listening and humming to the song playing.

"Right." Tae agreed, purposely trying to scare her.

"Shoot!" Ky jumped, feeling her heart drop and began racing. "You don't do nothing like that!" She whined at him, smacking his chest with the back of her hand making him choke on his laughs.

"How are you so sneaky? I never knew big people could be so sneaky!" Ky fussed with her hand on her chest, still trying to catch her breath.

Tae just mugged her not responding.

He was still the same Tae. The same Tae who ignored people when he didn't have a response. The same Tae who mugged everyone he saw. Although he called his self working on it, he was still just the same Tae.

"I hate when you do that." Ky rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Do what?"

"Ignore me when I'm talking to you, or be on your phone while I'm talking to you. It's just rude." Ky scoffed.

Tae sucked his teeth while trying to think of a response that would be best fitting and not rude to her.

"My bad, it's just a habit" Tae kept it simple.

Sakyja just nodded her head before asking where the food was.

"It's in the kitchen. You not eating in my bed no more. You eat like a little kid. Matter fact, Kaisen eat better than you." Tae joked and eventually laughed even harder when seeing Ky's jaw drop.

"That was so mean! A two year old does not eat better than me!" The girl protested.

"Think that." Tae laughed again as Ky gave him the "talk to the hand" gesture and walked past him. He figured she was going to the food.

"Taeeeee. My ranch?!" Ky whined at the table as he walked to where she was standing.

"You know I always get 4. Where are they?" Ky pouted. She could not eat her chicken without some good ranch. Her favorite ranch was Wingstop's of course.

"They in the bag crybaby. You see how you be ready to cry before even looking for a solution? All you had to do was look." Tae fussed at her.

Tae was making a habit of fussing at her and straightening her up and Sakyja hated it. She didn't grow up with a male figure teaching and or  raising her. So the fact that she had two now, SeAntae and Isaiah, her feelings were always hurt.

She hated when they had to fuss at her because she felt like she was disappointing them. Tae or Isaiah weren't trying to mean any harm though, they were just dominant men.

"Okay I get it." Ky huffed before digging in the bag and getting her other three ranches out. She used alot of ranch while eating her chicken because she had to dip her wing in every time she was ready to take a bite.

Tae pulled her chair out before making her sit down and then scooting her to the table. She ate so messy, she needed to be directly over the table so nothing wouldn't drop on his floor. He damn near wanted to stick a napkin in her shirt like a bib to stop wing sauce from getting all over her.

"What'd you get?" Ky asked happily as she ate her food. Tae could see her legs kicking back and forth from through the glass table.

The boy just chuckled before responding.

"The honey barbecue boneless wings and a fruit punch of course." Tae voiced before sitting down at the table and beginning to eat with her.

The two sat in silence making small conversation every so often. They mainly just focused on eating though since being that it was their first meal of the day.

"Se'Antae?" Sakyja spoke out nervously making Tae's head instantly jet up. It was so rare for anyone to call him by his actual name, he knew it had to be important.

"Yes doll?" Tae answered as he swirled his french fry in his wing sauce before popping it into his mouth.

"I think I'm ready to do it." Sakyja mumbled.

"Huh? What you say?" Tae stressed with his face mugged up. She knew couldn't nobody hear her while she was sitting up there talking like a mouse.

"I saidddddd." Ky started off, dragging the word "said".

"I think I am ready to do it."

"Do what?"

"You know." Ky mugged, hating that he was gone actually force her to say it.

"I don't." Tae mugged back. He was beginning to get irritated because he felt like she was dragging whatever she had to say to him.

"I want to have sex." Ky shrugged, almost giggling at the way Tae's eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his head. He looked like Brian from a YouTube couple she watched periodically.

"No you don't." Tae dismissed her before looking back down at his box of food.

"Yes I do Tae." Ky remarked. He was being so dismissive and she was actually serious.

"Why you want to do that?" Tae questioned her.

"I don't know. I want to experience it." Ky shrugged again. She couldn't believe that they were really having a discussion about her virginity.

"Why though?" Tae questioned her again.

"Tae why are you really trying to have a full blown conversation about this right now." Ky mumbled as she picked around at her food. She was now nervous.

"Why aren't you? This is your body we talking about. Your virginity. Giving somebody the most valuable thing you got besides your brain. Why wouldn't you want to talk about it to make sure you not fucking on a lame who not gone give a fuck about you?" Tae mugged her.

"Are you implying that you are a lame who not gone give a fuck about me?" Ky questioned, now confused more than ever.

"No. When I take your virginity, Ima make sure you loved before, during, and after. Im just saying you need to be able to say you trust me and we talked about certain things before you just say you ready to slam that monkey on me." Tae cracked a joke but still being serious.

Ky laughed as she listened to him. She was honestly glad he was telling her this and not just taking advantage of her naivety. Of course her mom always told her to make sure she trusts the person and etc but she never knew she should have an actual conversation about it before hand with that desired person. She thought she was just supposed to tell them and then boom it happens.

"Your body is your temple baby, don't let just anybody in it." Tae voiced before grabbing her chin and making her look at him. "You hear me?"

"Yes si- I mean yes." Ky answered. Her daddy issues that she wasn't aware she had were really cutting up. She was about to tell this man, yes sir.

"I still want to lose it though Tae. I trust you, I love you? I want it to be you." Ky spoke softly to him while looking in his eyes making him feel flustered.

"Well you just let me handle that. I got you." Tae shrugged, playing it cool, but he really was flustered inside.

He wasn't sure how to feel. Like he previously expressed, he wasn't sure about loving someone he really didn't trust. With that being said, Tae felt like you were supposed to love and trust the person you interacted sexually with. He just want sure.

He could be an asshole and just fuck the shit out of Sakyja and not give a fuck about the aftermath but he wasn't allowing him self to think like that. When it came to Ky, it was all or nothing. He either was gone make it serious between them and then they could do what they pleased or they were just going to be friends. He wasn't going to drag her along though knowing he wasn't even sure of his feelings about her.

Sakyja slowly nodded while her mind raced a thousand miles per minute. She didn't understand why everytime she said she loved him, he never returned the gesture. He always just responded to something different or acted like he didn't hear her say it.

Tae didn't mean any harm by it. Love was just something you had to work towards in a relationship. They had been dealing with eachother for a while but he was in no rush to say a four letter word.

"We should go to Walmart. Find some food or games?" Sakyja asked looking at him while she sipped out her cup.

"You tryna go right now?" Tae asked unknowingly mugging his face up.

"Yea.." Ky said nervously, now swirling her straw in her cup.

"Oh okay. Yea we can." Tae agreed, shrugging as his face softened.

"Do you feel like I abandon Jaliy and hang out with you more?" Ky blurted out in question.

"I wouldn't say abandoned, that's sounds terrible but yea. I feel you do attach yourself to me and want to be under me all the time, which I don't mind. " Tae answered truthfully making Ky sit in silence. "But it depends on how Jaliy takes it."

"Oh" Ky answered.

"She must told you she felt abandoned?" Tae asked curiously. It seemed to him that they had been doing perfectly fine.

"No. Well we got into it a few months ago but we been got over it. I'm just still overthinking it I guess." Ky twiddled with her fingers as she responded.

"Oh. Well if it's not a problem then don't make it one. Can't fix nun't that's not broken." Tae shrugged before biting into another chicken wing.

"Right." Ky responded shaking her drink cup before twirling the straw and taking a sip.

"Sit cho' ass down" Tae mouthed to the random kid that was leaning over the booth, staring all into his face.

They were now at a seafood spot, getting Ky the boil bag she had been talking about for the last week. They were going to go to Walmart and proceed with the game night as planned but Juke called and said they were going to a have a game night for Valentines Day. Both Ky and Tae decided to wait instead of having two.

"Se'Antae! You can't talk to other peoples kid like that." Ky laughed at his foolishness as she twisted the tail off yet another crawfish.

"Need to sit his lil bad ass down den." Tae shrugged as he mugged his face up at Ky eating the food. She had gotten it so spicy, her nose was running and everything.

"Ion' see how you eat that shit." The boy continued to mug before reaching over and dapping her nose clean.

"All you wanna eat is chicken tenders and fries." Ky rolled her eyes pointing to chicken strip basket he ordered.

"Thats gone do it every time the fuck." Tae said shrugging and chuckling.

"You so unfiltered when you talk." Ky giggled and she swirled her potato in the butter sauce at the bottom of her bag.

"Ian tryna change it, that's me." Tae said unbothered. He knew he was nonchalant and said whatever came to mind and he didn't care.

"Yea." Ky responded looking him in his face before looking back down and biting into her potato.

"I'm full." The girl said pulling her gloves and plastic bib off.

"Alright let's go then. You gone finish that?" Tae nodded towards her bag that still had two clusters, a few shrimps, and her crawfish she barely touched.

"Umm yea?!? This wasn't cheap." Ky exclaimed twisting the bag closed and looking for the waiter so she could ask for a brown to-go bag.

"Ian hard up for it, you know this."

"Okay big money." Ky laughed, faking surprised. She knew he had money, he stayed paying for something of hers.

After getting her to-go bag and packing her leftovers up, the pair walked out of the restaurant heading back to Tae's house so he could get ready to drop her off there and go handle some business.
