Jaimie-mae woke up basically laying on Fabian's hard chest. Her leg was thrown over his and he had her trapped under the weight of his arm.

She admired his morning look. Ruffled hair, parted pink lips, light breaths, steady heartbeat.

She pressed her ear against his chest to hear his heartbeat more clearly. It made her smile to be able to hear something that was so calm. Like a slow rumble of thunder on a rainy day.

Jaimie-mae looked over at the digital clock and squinted.

Tuesday- 7:27AM

Her eyes widened and she sprung up off of the bed.

"Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. School!" She said as she scrambled around the room.

"Jaimie?" Fabian said groggily as he got up on his elbows. "What happened?"

"I'm gonna be late for school!"

"Skip," he said simply.

She stopped dead in her tracks. "What?"

She was kind of hoping he wouldn't say the word she thought he said because then she knew she had aboslutely no hope of saying no to him. She had literally no will power when it came to him.

"Skip. I wanna take you somewhere today."

Yup, there it was. She was completely agreeing with him. His suggestions always seemed so... right.

"Alright," she said softly.

"Cool," he said with a small smile.

Fabian hopped off the bed and grabbed her by the waist, pressing a quick kiss to her forehead.

"Put something comfortable on, for spring weather."

"Okay."

She was absolutely lovestruck.

Jaimie-mae threw on a comfortable two piece set

Quick A/N: Brand names like Supreme are over priced and over hyped in my opinion. The only reason people get them is so that they can either fit in, or they get one because their 'friends' have the brand. It's really not fair that kids get called out for not wearing something with a brand name on it. Why is it that people get teased for wearing something with two stripes instead of three? It's not wrong to wear expensive brands, its just wrong to pick on someone for not wearing the style.

Okay, sorry. I'm done. Thanks for reading!

Jaimie-mae wasn't usually the type to wear crop tops. She usually went for button ups, t-shirts, sports wear or sweats. But now she had been feeling more confident and decided that she should put the outfit to good use.

When she had finished brushing her hair and teeth, she came out of the bathroom to see Fabian standing there with his hands in his pockets, leaning against the wall.

"Ready?"

"Yup," she said with a small smile.

"You look cute. Never seen you in one of those shirts before," Fabian said as he ran a finger over the material.

She shivered a little. "Thank you."

He pulled her out of the house and they got into the car.

"Where are we going?" She asked as he got onto the main road.

"You'll see."

Fabian pulled up into a random neighbourhood that Jaimie-mae had never been to. Once he parked he hopped out with a smile on his face and opened the door for Jaimie-mae.

"Come on," he said excitedly.

She laughed as he pulled her to the front door of the house which had colorful plant pots littered around the door.

Fabian rang the bell and fidgeted in his spot as he waited.

Jaimie-mae looked at him strangely. "Why do you seem so excited?"

"Because i got you something exciting," he said as he pulled her into his side and stooped down to kiss her forehead.

He rang the door bell again and then the sounds of small barks rang through the house.

If it was even possible, the smile on his face got brighter which made Jaimie-mae start to get excited as well.

She looked up at him and noticed that one of his canine teeth were a little crooked. It made him seem even more handsome because his teeth weren't perfectly straight. It made his smile seem more boyish. They were still very white though.

"Fabian how did you brush your teeth this morning?"

"I had a toothbrush in my backpack."

"So you knew you would stay?"

"I was prepared," he defended.

Just then, the door opened and an older lady peeked out.

Fabian stood up straight and smiled down at the lady. "Afternoon Mrs. Anne."

"Ahh Fabian. Yes hello, come in, come in." She opened the door wider and stepped to the side.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Anne" Jaimie-mae said as she entered the house. She noticed how it smelled strongly of baking bread. She loved the smell. It was one of the things that gave her good memories instead of bad. "It smells good in here."

"Is this the girl you were telling me about," Ms. Anne asked Fabian in a whisper.

"Yes. My girlfriend."

"What a sweetheart. Well, follow me through here."

Fabian grabbed Jaimie-mae's hand and tugged her through to another room. Her eyes scanned the walls and the halls curiously as they passed through.

Jaimie-mae wondered if this was the feeling she would get if she remembered her grandparents. The house was so cozy and colorful. Full of house plants and good smells.

Just as they got to the threshold of a spacious room with glass doors leading out to a backyard, Fabian covered Jaimie-mae's eyes with one large hand.

"Don't peak okay," he said into her ear.

She shivered and hummed in reply.

She could hear the opening of a door, letting in a cool breeze and then it closed. The sound of a small bark broke the silence and Fabian took his hand off of her eyes.

Jaimie-mae looked down at the small fluff ball scampering around by her feet.

"P-puppy," she squealed.

She immediately dove towards the ground and eagerly reached forward to pet the overly excited puppy.

"She's yours Jaimie," Fabian said with a grin as he looked at his girlfriend playing with the puppy.

She looked up at him in shock. "Really?"

He nodded. "Mhmmm."

Jaimie-mae picked up the golden puppy and cradled it to her chest. Her eyes got watery and her chin wobbled.

"Oh shoot. Wait Jaimie, don't cry."

As soon as Fabian said that she burst into tears. She looked at Fabian and stood up, the puppy still relaxing in her arms.

"Thank you Fabian, thank you so much. I wish you'd stop making me cry all the time though," she said as she wiped her face with the back of her hand.

He used his thumb and brushed away the tears. "Your welcome. Those are happy tears i hope."

She giggled. "Yes, they're happy tears."

She looked down at the puppy and cooed at it, scratching behind its ears. "She's so cute."

She placed the puppy down and jumped onto Fabian. He was caught off guard and stumbled back a bit, but he steadied himself and held her firmly in place.

She placed a soft kiss on his lips. "This is why you're my favorite."

She hopped down from Fabian's arms and bent down for the puppy. It eargerly ran towards her and tried to lick her face, but she just giggled and dodged the lick.

"Thank you Mrs. Anne," she said with a gentle smile.

"No problem sweetie. I like seeing reactions like this, it makes me happy."

Jaimie-mae got up from the floor still cradling the cute little puppy in her arms.

Mrs. Anne pulled her to the side. "That's a nice man you've got there. I'm a little jealous. Show him how much you love him okay."

Jaimie-mae giggled. "Yeah he is nice. I will. Thank you again Mrs. Anne."

Fabian came up behind Jaimie-mae and reached over and scratched the puppy on the head. "Yeah, thank you Mrs. Anne. So much."

"Of course Fabian. It's good to see you again. Come back to visit, okay," she replied as she walked them to the door.

"I will. See you soon," Fabian said as he opened the door. He let Jaimie-mae out and then said one last goodbye to Mrs. Anne before they both got in the car and drove away.

"There's some stuff for your puppy in the trunk," Fabian said as he glanced down at Jaimie-mae.

She was stroking the puppies fur as it slept quietly in her lap.

"Faby, isn't she the sweetest thing ever," she said quietly. "She's almost as adorable as you are."

Fabian chuckled. "Well it's nice to know that the dog hasn't replaced me. And i'm glad you think that i'm adorable."

She reached over and pinched his cheek. He playfully snapped his teeth at her like he was going to bite her fingers.

"Your my adorable and handsome boyfriend," she said with a cheeky smile.

He smirked. "I know, i know."

Secretly, his heart was literally two more compliments away from a heart attack, but he wasn't complaining.

"What are you gonna name her?"

Jaimie-mae hummed in thought. "I think i'll name her... Fae."

"Fae?"

"Yeah. It's a mix of your name and my name. Fabian and Jaimie-mae."

He smiled and nodded in approval. "I like that."

Fabian could see Jaimie-mae glance between him and Fae with a small smile on her face.

"What?" He asked.

"Did i ever tell you that i love you?"

"Yes. But i love when you say it."

"Well, i love you, just in case you didn't know or something," she said with a small laugh. A blush coated her cheeks and he shook his head at her.

"Why did you get me a puppy Fabian," she asked after a few moments of silence.

"I-i ugh. I got her because i felt like spoiling you but i knew you'd never let me get you a bunch of stuff. And also i got her... to help with your panic attacks."

"Oh... thanks Fabian. That means a lot."

"Yeah, of course. I, um... i did research that said something about animals helping with anxiety and stuff like that."

She smiled warmly up at him then pet Fae's fur. "Thank you Fabian. I mean it."
