Cherish's POV:

I noticed Riley having tea with Riccardo in the garden, I hated how she was talking every chance to get closer to him.

I can't even deny them, I can't say a word to her right now?

I heard the maid, "Ma'am, lunch....."

Iris said, "Stop staring at them..."

Staring at them, I want to kill her.

I heard the maid again, "ma'am... lunch is ready..." I looked at her, she kept the food on the table, as she stood there.

I ordered angry, "Take that away... I am not hungry..."

I saw a worried expression her face, not sure what it meant. I heard Riley laughing, I turned back to the window, she was almost sitting on him, pulling herself as close as she could.

She said, "Ricc... You are so cute... so, you don't remember..." She went on with her nasty voice, I hate her.

My fist were digging my hands. I whispered looking at Iris, "How he forgot me so easily and is in her arms? He is going to pay for this???"

Iris assured me, "You know he is not in his best health.... anyways look how he is avoiding her..."

The maid asked again, "Ma'am... food is cold already..."

I am getting beyond irritated, I turned to her angry as I screamed, "Can't you hear me!!! or you think that women is your Madam now!!!! Don't forget I am his wife!!!"

I saw the maid looking down in fear, I realized I poured my anger on the wrong person. I grabbed my head, what is wrong with me.

The maid said, "I.. I ...just though... you will...get sick..."

Iris whispered, "Why are you still standing!!! Get out!"

The maid said looking at me, "But..."

I said, "Fine...." I took the juice, Anyways I should have it. I need to eat, no matter how angry I am.

I will not punish my baby....

I saw Iris trying to have some water for herself as she poured herself some of it. I turned to have a glance at them again, Riley had a big smile as she tried to lure Riccardo.

I was about to take a sip when I felt Iris bumping into me, I grasped, she grabbed my hand supporting me. The glass dropped on the floor, the glass broke down to pieces.

I grasped as I felt the cut I got on my leg because of the glass flying in my direction. Iris made me sit, she immediately placed a cloth on my wound.

She said to the maid, "Clean this mess..."

I almost screamed at Iris, "You should be careful!!!.. I could have fell, I am.."

I noticed the maid, I stopped my words, I looked down as I said, "I cannot tolerate pain... Iris!!!"

Iris said to apologizing, "I am sorry.. I just slipped... I will be careful...."

The maid got to clean the floor, Iris was wiping the wound clean, she pressed some antiseptic as she was glaring at the maid, why is looking at her so hateful?

Soon enough, the maid left, Iris sticks a band-aid as she said, "From today.... I will be responsible for your meals.... Do not eat anything anyone gives you, not even water..."

I looked at her stunned, Did she think the maid... maid was trying to do something to me?

Iris said, "Don't over think, but you should not trust the environment here....." I felt fear, my stomach was rolling by now.

Iris said, "Anyways..... Jasmine is coming next week, she was going to come tonight, but something urgent came up at the casino."

Jasmine...

Iris said, "Let's go out of here, till .... I don't know..... Maybe he will never know you, but you have to take care of yourself... And I don't think Riley will let you live in peace here...."

I looked down, I know... But I can't leave him alone.

No one will able to make him take care of himself other than me, everyone is scared of him.

Author's POV:

The maid landed on the floor as she grabbed her cheek, Riley grabbed her hair hatefully as she said, "You can't do a job right!!!... She is still breathing!!!..."

The maid begged in tears, "Ma'am... I tried... I really did... but she dropped the glass... I am sorry..."

Riley grabbed her head angry as she said, "Useless... one couldn't burn her down, and other can't even poison her!!! I am paying useless people!!!!"

Gang Base,

Fred called Riccardo, he was looking at a middle aged women begging for life, she confessed in fear and pain. She went to pain and view to save her family. At last she blamed herself for trying to kill her Master's wife for some money.

The maid was tied down, she begged, "Sir.. I.. am Sorry.. I.. I... am sorry.... I didn't... wanted to... I got greedy!!!..."

Fred walked of the room locking the door, Riccardo asked on the phone on the other said, "You got something...."

Fred said, "She was going get paid 3 million dollar... she received half of it, the same day before fire.... and she hasn't maybe because Cherish is all fit and fine..."

Riccardo stayed silent, He took a long pause, He asked, "Who?"

Fred said, "She says she doesn't know who it was... but it was a women who ordered the attack..."

Riccardo just said, "Keep her lock one way or other she is going to speak the truth...."

Cherish's POV:

I whispered, "No... I am fine, Dad... nothing to worry..."

I lied. I feel unsafe.

Dad said, "Come home...... I don't want to leave you alone there anymore.... Riccardo is not in position to keep his promise..."

I whispered, "No... I will not.... He needs me..."

I grabbed the railing as I said, "He will heal and be normal... I know..."

The next second I heard Isaac, "Cherish... if you want I will come to pick you up... Don't worry, I promise, everything will as you want... But I don't want to you stay there anymore..."

I ended the call saying, "Thank you.... But... I won't leave him..."

I signed looked out, it's not like this is easy or I don't want to go back to my parents. I just can't leave him alone.

I heard a crash from distance, I turned to Riccardo's room, I heard a scream after that. My heart dropped, I rushed to his room without wasting a second.

I noticed Riccardo's mother calling for help, "Guard!!..."

I walked in as I saw Riley at the door looking shocked, Riccardo was holding his head as he was trying to get up from the floor, his mom was helping him. His mom looked so distressed.

I rushed to him trying to support him, I noticed his eyes were closing. He looked so lost.

I tried to make him at least sit properly, I asked, "Riccardo.. Riccardo... Look at me.. please.... Riccardo..." He was not responding.

His mother was in tears, and this made me feel frustrated too. What happened to him?

I asked worried, "What happed to him?"

Riccardo's Mom said screaming to Riley, "This b*tch can't leave him alone!!!... He was not feeling well since morning... and she kept pressuring him about some date ..... she even tried to pressure him to remember a fake memory..." I pulled Riccardo's head on my shoulder, I was holding his face closer to support him.

I hate her, she tried to lie to him about them, and forced him to remember some of the stuff that never happened!

How dare she!!!

I looked Riley in anger, she screamed back, "Shut up!!... I did nothing.... he slipped and fell.... How long will this man take to be on his feet properly!!!"

I warned her, "I dare you say a word about my husband!!!.... You have no place in his life.... stop troubling us already...."

She looks at me hateful as she says, "Stop blaming me!! Only if it was you who got hurt in that accident, things would be different... you gave him your faith..." I looked down as if her words were true.

His this situation is because of me.

Riccardo's mother said, "Get out of here...I don't want to see you near him!!!..." she walked away furious, Riccardo was still unconscious.

2 hours later,

The doctor told us, he fainted because of stress and anxiety. I am so worried, he should not try to pressure himself to remember things.

Even thought I want him to remember me, not at cost of his life.

I was talking advantage of his sleep and trying to cares his head.

What have became of us Riccardo?

Even though I am scared I want to tell you, that I am pregnant... But I CAN'T....

Then I would be asking too much from this situation.

I embraced his head, playing with his hair, I whispered, "I can't wait till you can remember me.... Love you..." A tear slipped down my eyes, as if this pain became too much for me.

Riccardo's POV:

It's past mid night, I looked at her face as she fell asleep talking care of me.

Cherish, how do you look so pretty?

I know I trouble you a lot, but I didn't find any more  reasons other than some good acting to get rid of Riley for now.

I hate her being around me, but I have till I have this situation under control.

I touched her face, A smile appeared on my face, I reminded myself, "After all this time, I finally get to be in your arms..." I embraced her looking at her face, I don't think this night will bring me any sleep. I just want to look at my precious till I can, use all the time I have left
