After a disappointing loss last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Princeton, New Jersey to play the Princeton University Tigers on Saturday night at Hobey Baker Rink. With 14:26 left in the first period, Liam Gorman scored to make it 1-0 Princeton. With 5:12 left in the first period, Nic Belpedio scored his second goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. Carter Gylander and Aidan Porter matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 we stand heading to the second period. With 7:08 left in the second period, Jack Cronin scored to make it 2-1 Tigers. Gylander and Porter matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Princeton it remains heading to period number three. With 17:29 left in the third period, Colton Young scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 14:03 left in the third period, Brendan Gorman scored to make it 3-2 Tigers. With 7:14 left in the third period, Simon Labelle scored his first career goal to tie the game 3-3. Gylander and Porter matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 3-3 tie between Colgate and Princeton. With 4:03 left in overtime, Ross Mitton scored his third goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 4-3! Colgate improved to 3-6-1 on the season and 1-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
