After a very clutch goal by Colton Young last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the Yale Bulldogs tonight in Central New York. With 19:33 left in the first period, Nic Belpedio scored his third goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 12:51 left in the first period, Ethan Manderville scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Nathan Reid matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 Hamiltonians it remains heading to the second period. With 19:28 left in the second period, Alex DiPaolo scored his third goal of the season to make it 3-0 Raiders. With 14:31 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 4-0 Hamiltonians. With 6:33 left in the second period, Levi Glasman scored his first goal of the season to make it 5-0 Colgate. With 2:28 left in the second period, Matt Verboon scored his sixth goal of the season , on the power play to make it 6-0 Raiders. Gylander and Reid matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 6-0 Hamiltonians it stands heading to the third period. Yale Coach Keith Allain pulled Nathan Reid out of the net and so, Connor Hopkins filled in for the remainder of the game. With 10:24 left in the third period, Alex DiPaolo scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 7-0 Colgate. With 5:18 left in the third period, Nic Belpedio scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 8-0 Raiders! With 2:37 left in the third period, David Chen scored to make it 8-1 Hamiltonians! Carter Gylander finished off the Bulldogs and Colgate wins 8-1! Colgate improved to 6-7-1 on the season and 4-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
