After a phenomenal win last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the Harvard University Crimson on Saturday night in Madison County. With 18:27 left in the first period, Matt Verboon scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Aku Koskenvuo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 17:56 left in the second period, Sean Farrell scored to tie the game 1-1. With 17:22 left in the second period, Sean Farrell scored to make it 2-1 Harvard. With 9:37 left in the second period, Marek Hejduk scored to make it 3-1 Crimson. With 8:07 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-2 Harvard. With 6:08 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his eighth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 3-3. Gylander and Koskenvuo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-3 we stand after two periods of play in Central New York. With 19:28 left in the third period, Alex DiPaolo scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 4-3 Hamiltonians. With 10:36 left in the third period, Colton Young scored his fourth goal of the season, short handed to make it 5-3 Colgate. With 10:09 left in the third period, Henry Thrun scored to make it 5-4 Raiders. With milliseconds left in the third period, Alex Young scored his seventh goal of the season, into an empty net to make it 6-4 Hamiltonians! Carter Gylander finished off the Crimson and Colgate wins 6-4! Colgate improved to 8-9-1 on the season and 6-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
