After an incredible fight yesterday, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the Guelph Gryphons in their final tuneup before the start of the season. With 19:28 left in the first period, Colton Young scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 16:23 left in the first period, Luke Kutkevicius scored to tie the game 1-1. Carter Gylander and Nate McDonald matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we'll skate to an 1-1, first intermission tie. With 18:56 left in the second period, Arnaud Vachon scored to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 14:52 left in the second period, Alex DiPaolo scored to make it 3-1 Raiders. With 12:44 left in the second period, Ethan Manderville scored to make it 4-1 Hamiltonians. Coach Vaughan pulled Carter Gylander out of the net and so, Andrew Takacs filled in for the remainder of the game. Takacs and McDonald matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-1 Hamiltonians remains our score heading to period number three. With 16:25 left in the third period, Sebastian Tamburro scored to make it 5-1 Colgate! Andrew Takacs finished off the Gryphons and Colgate cruises to a 5-1 win! Colgate sweeps the weekend and now will get ready for the regular season!
