13-14-3: St. Lawrence Saints (10-7-1 ECAC Hockey) (Senior Weekend)

After a clutch goal by Ross Mitton last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the north country portion of ECAC Hockey teams,St. Lawrence and Clarkson on senior weekend at Colgate University. With 16:33 left in the first period, Justin Paul scored to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. Carter Gylander and Emil Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Saints we stand heading to the second period. With 18:02 left in the second period, Alex DiPaolo scored his ninth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. Gylander and Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 we stand heading to a crucial third period. With 12:48 left in the third period, Arnaud Vachon scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 29 seconds left in the third period, Max Dorrington scored to tie the game 2-2. Gylander and Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of regulation time so, 2-2 remains our score and we'll play extra hockey with two massive points on the line. With 11 seconds left in overtime, Ross Mitton scored his seventh goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 3-2! Colgate improved to 14-14-3 on the season and 11-7-1 in ECAC Hockey play!
