1-4-0: Merrimack Warriors (Game 2)

After another frustrating loss last night, the Colgate Raiders return to North Andover to finish the weekend with Merrimack in the game tonight. With 14:33 left in the first period, Ben Raymond scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Hugo Ollas matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 10:14 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-0 Hamiltonians. Gylander and Ollas matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 Colgate it remains heading to the second intermission dressing rooms. With 19:01 left in the third period, Alex DiPaolo scored his second goal of the season to make it 3-0 Colgate. With 10:38 left in the third period, Nick Anderson scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-0 Raiders. With 7:30 left in the third period, Ryan Leibold scored to make it 4-1 Colgate. With 6:28 left in the third period, Matt Verboon scored his second goal of the season to make it 5-1 Hamiltonians. With 5:18 left in the third period, Fillip Forsmark scored to make it 5-2 Colgate. With 1:22 left in the third period, Ryan Leibold scored to make it 5-3 Raiders! Carter Gylander finished off the Warriors and Colgate survives by a final of 5-3! Colgate improved to 2-4-0 on the season!
