CH 13.9

The two people kept looking fiercely at each other as if they were staring at their mortal enemies. The health center doctor had indeed interrupted their important moments. However, Jung Won couldn’t believe that this man would get angry and sulk just because of that.

Meanwhile, Jason and Hee Won who accidentally listened to the two people’s conversation from the wooden chair located in the rose aisle next to the lounge just sighed impatiently.

“Those two people, why have they been talking about such unimportant things?”

Jason whispered softly in Hee Won’s ear. It seemed that he also did not want to be caught and scolded by Geon Hyeong.

“Proposing to me?”

“Can you promise to always be by my side even in difficult situations?”

It was hard to believe that those words came out of Geon Hyeong’s mouth. Jung Won, who felt that she misheard, looked surprised and confused.

“That, aren’t people who accept proposals usually given time to think?”

“Never mind. If the person being proposed to asks for time to think, that means the answer is ‘no’.”

“Who said that?”

“It seems to me that way. This is Kim Geon Hyeong’s first time proposing to a woman and getting rejected.”

Jung Won hurriedly answered Geon Hyeong’s question who looked like he could change his mind in an instant. She really couldn’t let him go anymore. Geon Hyeong admitted his feelings honestly, so Jung Won was touched.

“Families don’t pick each other up. I might have pushed you too much. I thought I was the only one who liked you.”

Hearing that answer, Geon Hyeong breathed a sigh of relief and hugged Jung Won tightly who was looking teary-eyed. The two people really hugged tightly.

“You really mean it, right? Once you say ‘yes’, you can’t take it back. I can’t wait anymore.”

“I knew from the start that you were that kind of person.”

Geon Hyeong then approached Jung Won’s lips which were smiling slightly. The confident kiss of a man whose love proposal was accepted was much more careful and gentle than Jung Won expected.

Just as spring had just arrived when they first kissed in Hwaniwon, this time too, fall had just entered Gangwon Province. And, their first meeting, which was quite embarrassing, now grew and blossomed into love.

Those warm lips made her heart flutter. Jung Won held her breath happily as Geon Hyeong’s lips kissed her strongly and the touch of his hand made Jung Won take a step back.

She left for Seoul with Geon Hyeong and it hadn’t been ten minutes since she arrived at Geon Hyeong’s house. It was the first time she visited Geon Hyeong’s house, but she didn’t have time to notice the interior of the room. Her heart felt like it was about to burst at the look in Geon Hyeong’s eyes.

Geon Hyeong replied seriously in response to Jung Won’s reasoning.

He wondered why she didn’t bring up the family rules. Being able to get to this place after crossing the hurdle of those rules was probably already something great for Jung Won.

“That’s right. Family rule number 30. Don’t hesitate if you really love her.”

“Then that means we have to follow that rule.”

Geon Hyeong had finally found the best of the many family rules left by Jung Won’s mother. He had no intention of backing down or running away again in front of the woman he loved. He would never let her go again.

It’s not the first time Geon Hyeong has seen a woman’s body. However, she excited him more than when he was in puberty. He touched Jung Won’s tense face with his fingertips. From her eyes to her flushed cheeks. Touching her face that felt soft like cream made Geon Hyeong’s breath ragged even more.

As if giving Jung Won no choice, Geon Hyeong pulled her into his arms and kissed her. His heart, which seemed to say that he didn’t accept rejection in any form, was conveyed through his deep kiss.

Their breathing quickened and their hands became more busy.

A low moan was then heard in the air that instantly heated up. Rough and rapid breathing broke out all at once.

“Hm.”

“Look at me.”

Jung Won, who felt nervous again when Geon Hyeong’s hardening body touched her, finally managed to raise her head. In Geon Hyeong’s eyes that looked shinier than the starlight in the winter sky, there was only Jung Won. Geon Hyeong only looked at Jung Won alone.

“Are you okay?”

“A little. But it seems like it’s harder than picking beans in the field.”

Geon Hyeong kissed Jung Won’s sweat-soaked forehead and Jung Won could feel the smile on Geon Hyeong’s face.

All his movements that were slow earlier now began to move impatiently. The sweetness of his lover that he felt with his whole body made his patience and self-control disappear completely.

When he really couldn’t take it anymore, Geon Hyeong still didn’t stop and Jung Won remained one with him perfectly until the end. Jung Won pressed his lips on Geon Hyeong’s shoulders and held back her moans of pain that was foreign to her. Geon Hyeong who now felt like he owned this woman completely looks deeply at Jung Won.

Geon Hyeong supported himself with his elbows and looked at Jung Won. Jung Won who heard his honest confession just laughed softly. However, it was only for a moment.

When she felt that strange sensation again, Geon Hyeong kissed her again. Her heart, which had just calmed down, started beating fast again. Her breathing that was getting faster also felt hotter. Geon Hyeong lifted Jung Won’s arm and wrapped it around the back of his neck.

“Hold on tight. Because I won’t let go.”

“Haaah.”

Jung Won sighed softly while putting her hands around Geon Hyeong’s neck.

Becoming one perfectly. Their togetherness. The intimate feeling was really something hot that could not be imagined. Another moan came out of her mouth. Then, the sound of her sighing seemed to wake up Geon Hyeong’s instincts that were now starting to take over.

Hearing Jung Won’s uncertain answer, Geon Hyeong raised his eyebrows and pulled her waist closer to him. He almost felt betrayed because her feelings for him were not the same as his. He couldn’t believe that his wonderful experience that night was only enjoyed by himself.

Jung Won smiled a little and confessed honestly while burying her face in Geon Hyeong’s chest. This was her first experience and this kind of feeling was also her first time.

She didn’t hate Geon Hyeong’s body temperature and breath that she felt throughout her body. Even though she felt a strange pain deep inside her body, her heart was still pounding.

“Then, should I get a star for you?”

Hearing Geon Hyeong’s serious question, Jung Won, who still didn’t raise her face, laughed softly. Jung Won’s laughter was felt in Geon Hyeong’s chest.

“Why are you laughing?”

“Because of you. I’m really grateful for you. I don’t need stars in the sky.”

“Me too. Because of you. I’m really grateful that you exist. I didn’t need stars in the sky in the first place.”

Geon Hyeong muttered as he pressed his lips against Jung Won’s.

The bright and white moon appeared in the dark night sky. Its rays quietly entered their room. Then, the rays of the star that left her hometown 360 years ago also quietly flickered in the dark.
