Chapter 37: Ticklish Lessons on Foot Health

A/N: Hey everyone! First off, I just want to say a huge thank you to all the current and new readers who have been enjoying Vol. 2! If you haven't already, be sure to add Vol. 1: Everyday Tickles to your reading list as well. It's been a busy time for me, but I truly appreciate all your support and excitement for these stories. More chapters are on the way very soon, and I'm also working on uploading an entirely new volume that I can't wait to share with you all. Stay tuned, and as always, thanks for reading!

Dr. Meredith Calloway adjusted her microphone clip and smoothed out her floral blouse as she sat back in the medical chair, preparing for her latest TV health segment. The studio lights shone down brightly, illuminating the educational posters behind her—diagrams of feet, reflexology points, and key tips on maintaining foot health.

Her cameraman, Jake, positioned the camera, adjusting the focus. "Alright, Doc, we're rolling in three... two... one..."

She flashed her warm, professional smile at the camera and began. "Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Your Health Matters. I'm your host, Dr. Meredith Calloway, and today we're talking about foot care—something that's often overlooked but crucial for our daily well-being."

As she spoke, she gracefully slipped off her heels and propped her bare feet up on the footrest in front of her, flexing her toes. "For those of us who spend hours on our feet, whether at work or during exercise, knowing how to stretch and massage the muscles properly can help prevent conditions like plantar fasciitis or arch pain."

Jake, behind the camera, zoomed in on her movements as she pressed her thumbs along her sole, demonstrating pressure points. "One trick I recommend is rolling a tennis ball under your foot, right along the arch, to relieve tension. It's simple, effective, and feels amazing."

Jake smirked slightly. "So, Doc, since we're talking about feet... do doctors get ticklish too, or are you just immune?"

Dr. Calloway chuckled, pausing mid-demonstration. "Oh, trust me, we're not immune. In fact, some of us are worse off because we know exactly where all the sensitive nerve endings are." She explained, wiggling her toes playfully. "Let's just say reflexology can get interesting for me."

Jake made a mental note of that as they continued filming.

Once the segment had wrapped, Dr. Calloway relaxed in the chair, stretching her legs out in front of her. "That went pretty well," she remarked, running a hand through her wavy red hair.

Jake set the camera down and walked over, smirking. "So... about what you said earlier," he started.

Dr. Calloway glanced at him with a knowing look. "Yes?"

Jake hesitated before grinning. "Are your feet really that ticklish, or were you just saying that for the camera?"

She laughed and tilted her foot slightly. "Well, I could let you find out... but you'd have to be brave enough to try."

Jake didn't need any more encouragement after that. He reached out and lightly traced a finger along her arch.

Dr. Calloway's foot twitched immediately, and a surprised giggle escaped her lips. "Oh! So you are brave."

Seeing her reaction, Jake took it a step further, scribbling his fingers along the ball of her foot. Dr. Calloway burst into laughter but made no attempt to pull away. "Jake, you are not supposed to be testing my reflexes after filming," she teased between giggles.

"Hey, you brought it up," he countered, watching as her toes curled in response to his playful touch.

She laughed even harder when he traced along her arch again. "Alright, alright, I admit it—my feet are ridiculously ticklish," she confessed, still giggling.

Jake chuckled, pausing for a moment. "You know, for a doctor, you make a really fun patient."

Dr. Calloway smirked, flexing her toes as if inviting him to continue.

Taking her playful cue, Jake grinned mischievously and decided to test just how ticklish she really was. He gently ran his fingers up and down her soles, watching as she squirmed in her seat, trying to suppress her laughter.

Dr. Calloway bit her lip, but a giggle slipped through. "You're enjoying this way too much," she teased breathlessly.

"Hey, I'm just following doctor's orders," Jake shot back. He then playfully wiggled his fingers under her toes, causing her to burst into full-on laughter.

Her toes curled and flexed as she instinctively scrunched her feet. "Not the toes! That's so unfair!" she giggled, tossing her head back.

Jake raised an eyebrow. "Oh? That bad, huh?" He focused his attention there, lightly pinching and tickling just beneath her toes.

Dr. Calloway let out a stream of infectious laughter, gripping the armrests of her chair. "Okay, okay! You've made your point!" she gasped, though she still made no move to pull her feet away.

Jake finally slowed down, letting his fingers drift away. "So, would you call this an alternative reflexology session?" he teased.

Dr. Calloway exhaled with a grin, wiggling her toes as if testing for aftershocks. "Let's just say, if I ever do an episode on stress relief, I might have to include tickling as an option."

Jake laughed, stepping back. "That, I'd love to see."

She slipped her heels back on, still smiling. "Good. Now go finish editing that segment before I start giving you a reflexology lesson."

As he walked back to his equipment, Jake couldn't help but grin. It wasn't every day that filming a medical segment with a colleague turned into such a fun and memorable moment.
